This is probably Cheap Trick at its heaviest and loudest since their debut. I don' t hear anything wrong with that. A great power pop/metal album. Certainly kills a lot of those terrible hair bands of the late 80's!Metallica Kill 'Em AllMetallica ...And Justice For AllOzzy Osbourne Diary Of A MadmanRiot Rock CityA great album by a criminally underrated band. "Warrior" is a proto thrash/power metal number that still holds well even today. No other bands at that time (except maybe Judas Priest) played with this speed and intensity. The production is really great considering the year (1977), all instruments sound loud and clear. Mark Reale is one of metal's unsung heroes. His tasteful soloing easily predates that of Randy Rhoads and vocalist Guy Speranza could've been one of metal's most definitive frontmen. Sure, these guys play like a thousand times better but I hate it when I see a bigger band ripping a smaller one off. Drakkar GeminiDrakkar Razorblade GodDrakkar When Lightning Strikes
