Got it for fifty bucks from a record store that I usually go to. Still sounds great for a forty year old record. m/ Anyways, let's start the review: This album has lots of individual styles from the hard rocking "Custard pie" to the funkiness of "Trampled under foot" to the country like "Down by the seaside". Everything in this album is superb, the vocals, the drumming, the bass, the guitar, EVERYTHING. Jimmy Page's sloppy, yet not sloppy guitar style makes a big contribution to the whole sound of the album. I love John Bonhams (RIP) drumming especially in the 11 minute song, In my time of dying. Record producer Rick Rubin has remarked on the song's structure, "The bass line in the fast grooves is so interesting and unexpected. It keeps shifting gears, over and over." I also think The wanton song is a very underrated track. The grooviness in it is just awesome. This is the definitive album of Zeppelin. There's not much else to say about this album anymore except, if you don't have it, Go to the store and buy it NOW!! Why are you still reading this review? GO NOW!!
