My Ticket Home Pure to a Fault
The sound definitely sways more towards hardcore on this album, not really anything that resembles nu-metal or metalcore on this offering. I personally found that their sound is too much of the same for me. First track I listened to I was like, "ok this could be good". Next track ... "oh this sounds like the other one". There are two tracks that are completely different, but their overall sound, song structure and vocal delivery was too similar across the album for me. The vocals just don't do anything for me with the music not really doing enough to keep my interest. Nothing stood out, everything was just "meh" ... not great, not bad.		2.5

The songs drag on a little too long and repetitively for my liking. There are instrumentals that are very moody and sludgely, but unfortunately the vocals are very weak in my opinion (he's probably better with the clean vocals but even then they are not great). Rebirth would have to be my favourite track, because of the sludgely nature of the instruments (definitely be a better track without vocals). Convergence drags on way too long with the same slow tempo and sound, Cataclysm has it's moments largely when it gets heavy but the track is way too long. If they learn to cut some of the fat and improve their vocals they could release a half dec		2.0
