Kero Kero Bonito Time 'n' Place
Impressive how Kero Kero Bonito follows up their debut album with a project that is of similar quality, but with a big change in sound. Despite stepping into new sonic territory, they still manage to keep some of the old aesthetics in the songs, which you can notice by the catchiness of the songwriting. My favourite tracks would probably be 'Time Today' and 'Only Acting', which actually blends in much nicer in the tracklist of the EP 'TOTEP', where it's also featured on.

Blonde Redhead 23
In my opinion this album does not live up to its predecessor, but is still great. The especially 'Dr Strangeluv' is fantastic. Generally I noticed that I am enjoying Kazu's vocals also more than Amedo's, and luckily on this album most of the songs are with her singing.

Life Without Buildings Any Other City
This album sounds fun at first, but after a few listens grows stale for me. The songs seem way too long, with the vocals and instruments not offering enough variety to justify the runtime. In particular the spoken vocals can be very annoying after some listens, and the heavy use of repetition does not help with this issue at all.

Great album front to back, with no single dissapointment in the tracklist. Though I think that it does not quite live up to its predecessor, which had even stronger hooks and funnier lyrics.

Sigur Ros Takk...
Compared to other projects of Sigur Ros, this album feels more accessible, which is not a bad thing. In my opinion it even adds alot, as I did not really connect with more long winded releases like (). The catchy shorter songs here are alot of fun, but also the long tracks which go back to their earlier style are great here. I guess for me diversity in an album is important, it makes it easier to tolerate a long runtime. Fortunately, 'Takk...' is some of the bands more diverse albums.
