	A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step I hate to tell you this but "Pet" is also about drug addiction. The "father" that is speaking is the drug "talking" to the addict. Listen to it again with this in mind and it becomes an incredibly intelligent song, rather than a rather trite political one. The other version of the track, from Emotive (Counting Bodies Like Sheep) IS related to politics but this wasn't done until quite a while after and the video features a cartoon version of a particularly inept US president. You've also remarked that Weak and Powerless didn't do much for you. Fair enough but have you listened to the lyrics in that song?? Hands-down the best	4.5 12.28.09
