Creedence Clearwater Revival's debut album will (likely) not replace albums like Cosmo's Factory or Green River, but as a first release it's a great one. The jam atmosphere was already in the band from the beginning causing a pretty addicting sound that's made better by the songs themselves. The originals are pretty good from the fast paced "The Working Man" to the more blues based "Gloomy". The songwriting isn't as strong as it would be in the next album, however that doesn't really stop the originals from being good even if most of them are weaker than the covers. Speaking of those covers, there are some excellent song choices here like the

Weird Al Yankovic "Weird Al" Yankovic
Weird Al's debut is a nice showcase of a lot of his qualities like his more comedic tone, but he doesn't really have it all together yet. In fact, this album is a bit of an oddball in Weird Al's work. That doesn't stop the album from featuring some great performances and it's a really charming album in general. His parodies are mostly good even though there is one or two that can be kind of annoying ("Ricky"). On the other hand, some of these parodies are fantastic such as "I Love Rocky Road", "Another One Rides The Bus", or "Stop Dragging My Car Around". His originals are a little more spotty with better rewards, but at the cost of some less
