	Katatonia Dead End Kings This album really surprised me because no other Katatonia record managed to grab me in any way. But "Dead End Kings" is stunning. The production is flawless - the drum sound is superbly balanced, the mix is clear and punchy, the vocals sit just where they should and unlike many vocalists with lower tonality, the singer is engaging and adds the perfect finishing touch with catchy and memorable lines and phrasing. I have nothing bad to say about this record.	5.0 09.24.13
	Cloudkicker Subsume I loved this album. I love the wall of sound and the lush reverb with the distortion. The catchy melodies are great and this makes for one very dynamic and captivating experience.	4.5 09.23.13
	Karnivool Asymmetry I understand that "Asymmetry" can be confusing. This record made me feel some very conflicting emotions when I first sat down with it. Some moments, like "Aum" and "Asymmetry" made me cringe, "Eidolon" was an utterly confusing addition I found didn't need to be on the album at all; the production of "A.M. War" was average, some vocals didn't cut it for me, etc.. But as the last track played, I concluded I absolutely loved the album, even after all the hate/love I experienced throughout. It is not cohesive, it is not easy to digest, it can be exhausting and dull, most of the time you wouldn't feel like playing it from start to finish. It is ju	5.0 08.09.13
