Nevermore
Nevermores debut Album is a pretty good one. The style on this one is not as developed as on the later albums and you can still hear the shadows on "Sanctuary" in the music. Still, there's killer music to be found here. Standouts are the groovish but nevertheless catchy opener "What Tomorrow Knows", the somehow furios "Godmoney" and my personal highlight, the very technical "Gardens of Gray" that also features a few progressive influences.
But there are also some things here, that I actually don't like. You might notice, that Warrel Danes vocal style is still under development here. On songs like "What Tomorrow Know" or "The Hurting W

So Far, So Good... So What!
Underrated.. this album is killer. The only downers here are the Punk Cover "Anarchy in the UK" and the somehow undeveloped 502. The rest of the album consists of speed and thrash metal classics. It is no secret, that most of the songs on "So Far, So Good, So What?" didn't make it onto "Peace Sells....." or "Killing Is My Business".

In Memory
A very good E.P. I agree with the "Bauhaus" cover beeing the only downer on this one. Also the sanctuary influence that overshadowed the debut is almost gone here. The style Nevermore plays on songs like "Optimist or Pessimists" will be developed further on "The Politics of Ecstacy." This is where it really started.

Youthanasia
This is not a Thrash Metal album, but an awesome Power Metal Album. Every single track here is catchy. Also lead work is very very good. In my personal opinion this album whipes the floor with "Countdown." Yes, Youthanasia has a commercial touch but it does not have some of the popish elements found on the prior album.
Give it a try.. I'am sure you will enjoy it. Just dont expect Rust In Peace II
