Of Mice and Men The Flood
This very well could be one of the best albums to ever enter the scene. Incredible lyrics, soaring cleans, epic breakdowns, and fast, hard hitting drums. Austin has proved that OM&M is where he belongs and Shayley sure knows how to compliment that. Though the production isn't the best, this album has showcased one of the biggest upcoming bands in the scene. There's no doubt in my mind these guys will becoming huge.

Cartel In Stereo
I'm glad Cartel is still going strong, but this definitely isn't even close to as catchy as their last album, Cycles. I loved Cycles and Chroma and those are some of the catchiest album's I've heard. But the only song on here I can actually get into is Lessons In Love. I hope they can somehow manage to get back to their roots and craft something more pop-punk oriented and catchy. I think they tried too hard to be more original and unique with this. It's not terrible, just not the Cartel I came to know and love.

Hands Like Houses Ground Dweller
Falls just barely short of perfection due to the fact that it blends too much together. Don't get me wrong, blending is a good thing and an album should be cohesive, but I think the production made it falter a little bit. These guys are great musicians but the production doesnt amplify their talents, it rather masks them. The vocals are top notch and easily some of the best in the genre, but the music is good too. I think the next time around they should focus a little more of the guitars.
