Electric Light Orchestra Balance of Power
The album feels very empty and does what ELO as done before but watered down to the point that most tracks arent worth mentioning. It isnt bad at all, just very okay

Electric Light Orchestra Secret Messages
This album hosts some of my favorite ELO songs, Bluebird, Four Little Diamonds, Rock N Roll Is King are all wonderful. The rest of the album is very hit or miss with many uniconic tracks. In my opinion it is the last great ELO album

Electric Light Orchestra Time
A truly wonderful album from ELO that has the iconic Prologue/Twilight opening. The album has a great mix of sad songs and upbeat tracks that makes for a truly great album. With great music propelling a story about a man sent to the future wrapped in a classic ELO fashion it makes for an album that can stand the test of time

Electric Light Orchestra Discovery
Dont Bring Me Down is probably the most well known song on the album and I cant help but feel as if its over played. The songs that really give the album its energy are fun and exciting. Shine a Little love reminds me of some type of marching music and makes for a great opening song. The bass in the album has a great presence over all and from song to song it does so much to help make them interesting

Electric Light Orchestra Out of the Blue
With so many great songs on the album its hard to pick a single favorite. The album manages to have many different songs on it without making them sound too similar to each other. The slower songs tend to have a wispy sound that flows from beginning to end while the faster songs tend to make you want to get up and dance. Somewhere around half the songs are love songs the album doesnt get boring in any sense of the word. The vocals are on point for every song and being accompanied by the violin makes for a very full sound that makes the album as a whole stand a cut above the rest in the discography r

Electric Light Orchestra A New World Record
If I ever wanted to get a person hooked on ELO the two albums I would ever recommend are Out of The Blue and A New World Record. This album has a great mix of pop songs and songs that just make you sad. Telephone Line and Shangri La are relaxing and lovely, the whole atmosphere of the album is superb r

Electric Light Orchestra Face the Music
Being the album that follows Eldorado it has a very big standard to live up to and it falls just short. The album still does great with the few songs that stand above the rest. Fire On High is a great opening for the album and Evil Woman along with Strange Magic are some of the more iconic ELO songs but other than that its very okay. Waterfall, Nightrider, and One Summer Dream are nice, slow songs that have Poker to help break them up with its fast tempo but Down Home Town is a song I could never get into and by far the weakest track on the album in my opinionr
