Oneiron I'm assuming that you write the music for yourself. If so, what does it matter to you what someone like me has to say? If you want others to hear it and they can't stand it, ask why, and ask if their feedback is good for you. Outside feedback has helped me improve tremendously, even if I ignore most of it. Not everyone is gonna like what you do, but keep it up because somebody does and because it seems important to you. August 20 06:33 AM
Oneiron The production makes it muddy and bland. The guitars are reduced to fuzzy pink noise for most of it and the vocals are recorded so that every scream clips and makes it sound immature and slapdash. The song structures are often incredibly simplistic, which isn't bad on its own, but they don't stand up even slightly under the weight of everything else. And man, you totally come off as a little, defensive kid. I'm a songwriter as well, and you have to shrug off the negativity. August 20 06:29 AM
Oneiron Just to let you know, I spent almost an hour trying to find a song you recorded that I could say something good about. I couldn't because it sounds like crap to me. Note I say "to me." It took me about 15 seconds at most to rate them all. I spent way more time trying to like it than expressing my dislike. If you want some real criticism, it's your production that tanks everything. I have nothing wrong with the titles or the name or even the way things sound slightly off. August 20 06:24 AM
