Men's Recovery Project Resist The New Way
similar to"bolides" but with a sci-fi theme, maybe a little more "electro". an excellent album, again, from start to finish!		5.0

Van der Graaf Generator The Box
more for the fans than for somebody wanting to dive into the VdGG catalog. (aren't all box sets though?) a
slew of BBC recordings, a couple rarities and a bunch of oldies but goodies. from the standpoint of anyone in
the target audience (again; the committed, established fan) it may seem a little redundant though. why not
just a collection of remasters, complete bbc sessions, oddities and rarities...? well, who knows really but in the
end this is good stuff and mostly well conceived considering it may have offered a little more the collectors
didn't already have. the notes are almost all worth having. t		4.0

Van der Graaf Generator The Aerosol Grey Machine
some pretty strong moments. a great debut, even if it's not quite the VdGG of the "classic" albums quite yet. "necromancer" is a standout and should be regarded as nugget of 60's dark pop-psychedelia. this earlier version of "people you were going to" isn't as good as the one on ph's solo album, nadir's big chance, but it's still a great song.		3.5

ranges from really well constructed and thought out songs to rehearsal recordings. still, a great listen for VdGG hardcore fans. "the liquidator" alone is justification for its existence, the more uncharacteristic jams are still interesting and insightful. 		3.5
