How the fuck is this shit on a 3.5 rn. This is rap album of the year can you guys not just fucking appreciate a tight, conceptual album? This is dark and super deep texturally. Fantastic album dude just great. What am I missing that makes it a 3.5?!		4.5

Somehow I kept falling asleep every time I tried to listen to this and now actually listening to it wakefully, I do not know how. Anyway the energy and musicality is worthy of a 4.5. I was very hung up about using the metaphor ?hooker with a penis? especially with the constant ?Im the man so youre the man? notion coming across as expressly transphobic but then I listened again and gained media literacy and realised it wasn?t about men, but about The Man. So now its just based. Anyway 4.4, with Lateralus being probably a 4.6-4.7 given it is musically slightly superior and lyrically far more mature		4.5

Jay-Z Reasonable Doubt
Not a high 4.5 but it makes the cut. Because I never understood the reverence for Jay but this is genuinely too slick. He doesnt really give it all the energy he could, his laidback nonchalant delivery doesnt really give me much, but the pen game is pretty off the charts. Nothing more needs to be said about Brooklyns Finest because we all know biggie and jay crafted a complete classic there		4.5

At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
This is, again, a 5 that I cannot justify yet. I felt a 4.5 until invalid litter dept. which by the way is one of the greatest punk emo songs I think ive ever heard. Give me time and ill rethink. My standards for a 5 annoy me more than anyone else and im really rooting for this one		4.5

  • parksungjoon no see the point isnt that all of it there is the worst music, some of it is just really dumb names, dumb art, or just obscure s*** . i also am too wary of breaking the list to ever edit it again, legit last time it took like 20 minutes before the submission went through and id hve to fiddle with a bunch of crap i cba
