	Savoy Brown Still Live After 50 Years Volume 2 This record is a much-welcome follow-up with more songs from the 2014 concert in Syracuse that were featured on Savoy Brown’s previous live album. This recording is a continuation and reminder of the band’s excellence when playing live blues. Just like the first volume, songs such as Nuthin’ Like the Blues, Shot In the Head, and Street Corner Talking show how Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown have just gotten better over time. Kim’s amazing guitar playing and bluesy vocals along with bassist Pat DeSalvo and drummer Garnet Grimm are even more powerful here than on some of the band’s studio releases from years ago. 	Savoy Brown Still Live After 50 Years Volume 1 Still Live After 50 Years Volume 1. which was recorded in Syracuse in 2014 shows that Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown can still put on an excellent live performance. So many other rock and blues musicians from the sixties and seventies have recorded albums with that all too familiar twelve-bar blues formula while Savoy Brown continues to deliver highly intense blues rock with fast rhythms and phenomenal guitar licks. When listening to Kim Simmonds playing guitar, you will hear that he has the talent and playing ability that would rival Stevie Ray Vaughn.
