 | scarecrow46290 I usually dislike re-recordings but that one has a distinct then-and-now-ness to it that intrigues me. I also find evaluating his latest ambient records in relation to the rest of his work to be difficult, because his post-prison black metal feels like an uninspired pantomime of Filosofem and can imo be dismissed on those grounds, but those two records are stylistically unique unto themselves and are evocative of the heroic in a way the rest of his work is not.
