| 3.5 great | Departures | January 23rd 11 | This is an yet another affirmative release of Red's consistent sound. Their unchanged style is not necessarily good in that they are due for some form of ostentatious progression (before their sound becomes stale). However it has made for yet another enjoyable-solid release.

| 2.0 poor | 2026 | December 21st 22 | so sad to see a once rockin band go full genny

| 3.0 good | christopher164 | November 27th 20 | I personally feel that this album features some of the band's strongest material ("Feed The Machine," "Hymn For The Missing"), but also some of their most half-hearted material ("The Outside," "Not Alone"). I really wish I had listened to this album with no spoilers instead of hearing some of the best songs ahead of time. As a result, I found myself disappointed when I listened through it for the first time, and that disappointment still lingers.

| 4.0 excellent | davezillaMP3 | May 8th 20 | The album does take a small dip in the backhalf, but this is a strong outing from Red Still.

| 4.5 superb | Snide | April 23rd 17 | Drastically underrated album, mainly because what everyone loves is still here. I just think most of the listeners got tired of that specific sound (and the fact that this is more ballad oriented)

| 3.0 good | JazzHands333 | February 3rd 13 | I actually gave this an extra .5 just because I like "Feed the Machine" so much.

| 3.5 great | Stop calling Intronaut post-metal | January 21st 13 | As others have pointed out, this album is a grower. The problem is that several songs here had the potential to be great but fell just short. Having said that, UWHF is bolstered by some of Red's best music to date (see "Feed the Machine"), and after a few listens, the strengths of other songs become apparent.

| 0.0 | | February 14th 12 | Continuing their signature style, but unfortunately this isn't good news this time around. Red have downgraded from their previous albums, using less string arrangements, simplified their music and relied more on production values. It is a significant step back from their earlier works, but compared to other bands in the genre, they are still a strong group.
Bump |
| 3.5 great | marshal46 | February 23rd 11 | Musicianship has improved, drums especially, and Red finally gets the mainstream appeal they deserve. However, it lacks much of the punch and originality of I&I. Parts of the album fall into generic made for radio formulas, which gains the band popularity and airtime but degrades the artistic merit.

| 3.5 great | PistolPete | February 5th 11 | You knew it would be difficult to top Innocence & Instinct, but this album somehow stands it's ground. It's a grower. Red has definitely softened up enough to hit radio and generate some new fans, but some moments on here are some of the best of their career. It's just a mature and tight album from a band that knows it's strengths. I honestly got what I wanted, which was another song from them I can play 50+ times without tiring of it (in the form of "The Outside" - such an epic intro). They have to learn to end on a strong note though...none of this 5-minute long piano soft bullshit anymore. They finish every album like this, do something nuts for once geez! Recommended Songs: Feed the Machine, Buried Beneath, The Outside, Best is Yet to Come.

| 4.5 superb | Vanwarp | January 29th 11 | Red's alternative rock/metal vibe on this album will no doubt appeal to the mainstream masses. Their sound is very much alive and engaging. Early highlights for me: "Feed The Machine", "Faceless", "Let it Burn", "Not Alone", "Watch You Crawl", "Who We Are", "Best is Yet to Come"...actually, the rest of the album is also good with only one filler track - "The outside."

| 3.0 good | tiesthatbind | January 29th 11 | Red's third album shows the band sticking to the status quo. Strings, uplifting vocals, you've heard it all before from the band, but it isn't quite as inspired this time. They hint at a heavier direction in album highlight Feed the Machine, but that's as heavy as it gets, as the rest of the album is largely a lighter affair, save for the occasional scream. They manage some good tracks in the first half but after Buried Beneath there really isn't much worth listening to. Overall, it's not really a disappointment, but it is a regression after the promise Red displayed in their first two albums.

| 3.5 great | guitarnater | January 28th 11 | It's about as enjoyable as it is predictable. If the title of the song seems very generic, the song probably is, but on the other hand, the more creative titles match with the better songs. Not bad, but not good enough to be Red's best.

| 4.5 superb | thekhan | January 22nd 11 | Completely disagree with your review. They have evolved as a band and are much more mature
than they were from their first album. They have taken their sound to new levels, while also
being the most positive they have ever been lyrically, (Not Alone, Who We Are, Best is yet
to Come), also coming out with some of the heaviest stuff they've produced to date (Feed the
Machine, Watch you Crawl, The Outside), a good radio rocker thrown into the mix (Faceless),
the most beautiful (Hymn for the Missing), while still cranking out a few of their signature
melodic rock songs (Lie to me, Let it Burn, Buried Beneath). This is End of Silence and
Innocence and Instinct on steroids, Their most diverse record to date.

Bump |
| 2.5 average | DinoX | January 6th 11 | definitely the band's worst album, everything on here feels so average. Buried Beneath is the best song on the album.
