The girl group may have died out in the late '90s for most of us, but it's still alive and well in South Korea. Girls' Generation (also known as SNSD) have been churning out infectious and cutesy pop songs for a couple years now, with Oh! being their peak. Stuttering synths, dancefloor rhythms, and group choruses dominate the majority of the album. Breezy ballads such as "Caramel Coffee (Talk To Me)" provide some well needed interludes between the Pixie Stick-like surges. "Gee" is a contender for one of the catchiest songs ever, with chirping vocals and a refrain of "Gee gee gee gee, baby baby baby." Oh! is an album you'll either love or completely despise.
