Girls' Generation is a South Korean girl group formed in 2007. The members are Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon (leader), and Sunny. Jessica Jung was formerly a member from the group's inception until September 2014, where she was kicked out of the group to much controversy. They are commonly referred to as SNSD, the acronym of the group's Korean name SoNyeo Shi Dae or So Nyuh Shi Dae.
