Great little EP. Statica and Rejoice are great. Hope they keep experimenting, this could have been an album. They're off their label now so I'm hoping we get more small drops like this.

There aren't enough psychedelics in the world to help me see the artistic vision behind this EP. Hard to believe someone in a studio heard these songs and gave the OK for them to be released. If they had done a whole album in this "style," I think it would be in the running for worst album of the decade so far.

Avenged Sevenfold are creating symphonic horror with lovely undertones, an intentional decision. They tell a modern tale through veteran eyes. Just don't expect to understand the tale cause the words are indecipherable, more infliction to the modern era. You're floating through a haunted house with Avenged Sevenfold, one in which they know every nook and cranny and are mischievous in revealing them to you. You pit-pat your way through track splicing's like slipping through holes slimmer than the fabric you're ravishingly cloaked in, and the event happens with harmonious fashion. One can't skillfully pinpoint if the songs convey emotion of sadness or happiness, they're simply ambiguous - more distance. Still one can be solely sure the resultant here is an immaculate one. All creations are unique no matter what some are attributing it to - "psychedelic rock" apparently, Avenged Sevenfold present dynamics that shifts ear weight like forces of propulsion. And while they try their best to be awful in every sense of the word it couldn't have had a more direct opposite effect.

Complete shit from a butt. Lay off the hallucinogens, don't use garbage vocoders constantly
and use Brooks to play more than shitty patterns that could easily be achieved with a drum
machine. I clearly did not enjoy LIBAD, but that was at least intriguing and had some
insane high points, this is just offensively bad. People on Reddit were discussing wether
the bands streaming pages had been hacked and AI music uploaded. Just the absolute dregs.

At first, it was simply too funny. Then it moved to being goddamn bizarre. But now I'm vibing with it and what a cool vibe it is, I'd take this little EP over most of A7X's discography in an instant.Seems like stuck old fart reactionists would rather swallow another pile of regurgitated slop that Hail to the King was than going on a fun little sonic adventure, lmao.

It's weird because the guitar solos are surprisingly good, but there are so many other bad ideas that it just doesn't matter. I think the biggest fault is the production, but a lot of this stuff just doesn't come together. How do you achieve multiple out of key notes with auto tune? And still give it the green light to get released? I do admire what this could be if it naturally bridged into electronic music, but I think they might need some help getting there. From a professional producer and not more drugs.
