3.5 great | blackspeech | February 17th 23 | In the previous album, they clearly expressed what they wanted to do, both visually and
soundly. (If you've watched the clips...) Their aim is directly to DISTURB.
On the album cover, we see pictures of how the created monster came to be. In the album,
they talk about the uncertainty of what will be the end of this monster, in a lament mood.
(Again, they do this by disturbing them in the way they know best.) I liked the atmosphere
of the album, it reminded me of the old school NIN vibe. I like it.

0.0 | dememecracy | February 21st 23 | Underneath DLC/Expansion pack. Production is solid as usual and the ideas used on here definitely warranted at least an attempt at this sort of project, but I can't help but feel like they overstay their welcome just a tad. If you enjoyed Underneath a lot you should be able to squeeze at least some enjoyment out of this. The ARG leading up to the release for this one was pretty neat too.

3.5 great | This is indeed a disturbing website (they/she) | February 17th 23 | Kind of a mixed bag overall (Prismatic Shame is one of their worst, but The Cutters Theme is one of their best) but Im glad it exists and adds another dimension to Underneath. I dont think Ill come back to it much but I really appreciate these guys honing in on their synth nerd sensibilities.
