A fine example of modern, progressive thrash, that blends many different elements together to create a unique sound that makes it very obvious there is a lot of potential in this band

One of the better thrash/MDM albums to come out of the 2000s, Conclusion of an Age has been with me for a long time. It's still their best release for its combination of crisp production, thematic cogency, instrumental skill, and pure ferocity. There are absolute bangers strewn throughout the tracklist ("After Lifeless Years" and "Withered" are my picks). What holds this album back from true greatness? If you catch the odd song on shuffle, you're blown away. If you listen to CoaA the whole way through, you'll get weary. It's as simple as that, but it's still fantastic.

Interesting album that mixes traditional thrash songwriting with modern textures. Josh Middleton is one of the greatest young guitar players out there.

I'm not really into trash, but this album combines some many other genres!
after lifeless years is my favorite, screams/grunts combined with clean vocals (they are perfect!) and melo - death riffs combined with trashing riffs.

At first, I thought this would be typical All That Remains/As I Lay Dying metalcore meaning that I would be listening to something I'd pretty much heard before. However, this band brings in elements from the past and fuses them with metalcore to create genuine thrash that is almost invisible in modern metal acts today. Solos/leads are executed at just the right moments and they exhibit the strong talent that the guitarists possess. The drummer also has his chops high and with aid from the bassist, there is an unbreakable rhythm as the vocalist unleashes mostly political inspired lyrics.
