An oddly fun album with some good ol' Newsboys cheese. In all seriousness, this album
kinda slaps. It has this old-esque sound to it combined with strange writing, catchy
melodies, semi-religious lyrics. This combination makes an incredibly weird sound, but
they do it with such passion and charisma I find it hard to care. There's actual good
songs on here too, Breathe (plus its second version) and Lost the Plot are really good
songs. This band really confuses me, but I can't help but groove along to their dumb
songs anyway haha.

One of my childhood favs and although its cheesiness has come through over the years I still think rit's a legitimately good record overall. And "Lost The Plot" is still one of the greatest songs rever written for my money.

Unlike most other "Christian rock" groups you'll find, Newsboy's Take Me To Your Leader actually, legitimately rocks
hard. You'd be lying if you said you couldn't find something to like here.
