The Newsboys, originally hailing from Australia, are known as the`biggest name in the CCM industry, with two gold albums, Step Up To The Microphone andGoing Public. They have released fourteen albums since their debut in 1988, and recently have picked up praise and worship as their main genre, howevertheir upcoming June 2006 release of a double-disk set will set the Newsboys' return to their pop/rock roots.
