If it weren't for the absurdly poor and annoying drumming, plus some weak vocals, this would be a near perfect album. Head-scratchingly weird but oozing with musical integrity, fascinating soundscapes, and a massive amount of variety. The guitar work is absolutely excellent and the atmosphere is unparalleled. With these factors alongside the fantastic keyboard work, it's easy to ignore any of the somewhat glaring other deficiencies in this album.
