3.5 great | MisterTornado | February 18th 13 | deep down inside, thom yorke knows he wants to dye his hair blonde, gel it back, dress in all white, and sing creep on the top of the empire state building with every major network filming it live, with tears strolling down his face as doves and fireworks soar behind him, giving him an angelic manifestation before god and the entire planet, before ending with a slash-inspired guitar solo. but until that happens, this is a pretty good gimmick.

2.5 average | Tom Zane | February 19th 13 | Listening to this is like listening to Thom Yorke have sex with himself in the next room.
Lots of whining over tired sounds.

0.0 | JazzHands333 | February 19th 13 | Basically anything electronic that Thom Yorke makes at this point is going to end up sounding like Kid A or Amnesiac B-Sides.

3.1 good | Erwann S. STAFF | April 17th 24 | Apparently Yorke wanted to do Kid Amnesiac part three but Greenwood didn't want any of this shit. It shows, as the usual Yorking is complemented by layered IDM that doesn't have any "oomph" in it to carry it to the desired heights.

4.0 excellent | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | October 7th 23 | Full disclosure, I enjoyed this album more than a fair bit, but an itchy confusion still reigned in my head: why bring along all those talented famous musicians if the end product still sounds electronic and their contribution is almost never clear on the record?

2.5 average | Aarticuno | January 13th 22 | The music works, but despite the band members, this is for all intents and purposes a Thom Yorke solo project
Bump |
3.5 great | charlopiano | October 20th 21 | Surprisingly pretty good. It shows each member's individual vocals, with cool ambient production, it does not come close to what any member has done with other projects, but it's a nice listen.

3.5 great | olisz | February 27th 20 | This album feels more like a Solo project of Thom than a colloborate effort by members of Atoms
for Peace, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it. When comparing it to the Eraser, Amok focuses
more on percussion than on melody. And in the percussion the songs really shine. Despite the beats
being probably programmed, they still feel very alive and dynamic, for me especially on the song
"Unless". And the album is well enough produced that in between those many layers of percussion
elements other instruments and Thoms voice still have space to unfold. In terms of songwriting, I
think there is a tiny bit of consitency lack here, but I still enjoy most of the songs. Some of
them took me a long time to appreciate, like the amazing closer title track.

3.0 good | Britch2tiger | December 14th 15 | Some pretty good electronica under Thom Yorke's profile, but nothing really that you have yet heard before from prior Radiohead music. Still a pretty good listen anyway. Definitely better than Gorillaz's attempt at their Plastic Beach album.

3.5 great | AmericanFlagAsh | September 23rd 14 | Thom Yorke's voice is lovely here, but the instrumentals sound way too similar song after song. It gets a little tiring. Still great.

3.5 great | w675 | August 1st 14 | A live version of this album would be dangerously close to a 5 for me. I saw them during their world tour and
it was something fucking else.

4.0 excellent | NightmareCinema16 | May 6th 13 | Surprising more distinct than the latest Radiohead, but still not as credible as Hail to the Thief or Amnesiac. 3.8/5

3.0 good | jday | March 20th 13 | If you're a Thom Yorke fan, than this album is a must hear. This guy doesn't put out anything less than top notch work. However, having heard about this band years ago, I was expecting something less digital. I've been excited to hear what can happen when the robotic Thom teams up with the likes of the insane Flea. However, despite being a member of the band, I hear almost nothing resembling a real bass in this album. This is by no means to put the album down, but this is far from what I'd expect from a band. This is basically a Thom Yorke solo album.

3.5 great | Lani | February 19th 13 | It is always strange when the lead in single that takes you forever to grow to love winds up being the best track on an album by a longshot. "Default" and "Judge, Jury, Executioner" are the only tracks that aren't distinctly average from beginning to end. Maybe "Amok" is also alright.
