 | Atari Hey man, long time no talk! I've been pretty good, the same company I've worked for 10 years recently let me start working from home (full time) which is a pretty nice gig not gonna lie. I just jam my records all day while I work it's awesome haha. How about you though, bud? Life been treating you okay?

| Atari Oh and there's several 2016 albums I think you'll dig. Mimisiku - The Thrill of Living is a whacky indie punk album named after jungle to jungle which is a pretty fun listen haha. Sara Neufeld -the ridge is great modern classical/minimalistic album. also this new woods album rules and If u want great black metal check the new Moonsorrow album :) I honestly have more recs (been a great year for me personally) but that should be suffice for now!

| Atari yeah for sure. I was talking to my brother yesterday and he mentioned it's sort of supposed to be like a remake of a new hope, so that makes sense. I just wish I would have seen it in the theatres, probably would have improved the experience haha

| Atari thanks man!! :] the force awakens was cool, but different than I expected it to be. First off, I definitely thought Luke Skywalker would be in the movie for longer than 5 seconds lol. also couldn't believe they killed off han solo, but I guess it will make for a good revenge story. all in all it was good (definitely better than the prequels) but I do think people hyped it up a bit too much haha. I'm like 6 months late to this conversation though lol ;)

| beachdude Btw if you like Drake's more RandB side you have to listen to dvsn and their album Sept. 5th. It's a duo of a singer and producer, and the producer half is Nineteen85, who wrote/produced Drake's Hotline Bling, co-produced Hold On We're Going Home, and a bunch of others. It's my favorite OVO Sound album released thus far by quite a lot.

 | Insurrection Yeah man James Wan is the master of horror. He's one of the few directors that knows exactly when to use jump scares so that they actually scare the s*** out of you without sacrificing the movie's tone. The Conjuring is another classic one

| Atari yeah it rules hard dude. haven't really given incantation a proper go yet, will do that soon! lately i've been jamming death metal while i fight people in smash bros. online lol. quite the stress reliever. leprosy is growing on me so much too, i think it's partly because it's my first death metal vinyl, but it's also a lot better than i initially gave it credit for. i knew it was great but damn it's superb

Also, have you heard Grouper? If not check Grouper's Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill or their new album Ruins. They're not 100 percent ambient they're like ambient/folk but you'd probably dig

Just to give you an idea of what i like...my favorite dm albums are probably symbolic, left hand path by entombed and i really like screams of anguish by brutality. i'm sure that might change if i get more into the genre though

| Atari One more very minor thing: instead of saying best release of 2015 you could call it the most rewarding or most captivating release (best just isn't the most descriptive word to use) that's all I really got man, good stuff.

| Atari Great review man! You might wanna break up that first paragraph into 2 though but that might just be personal preference. Also when u say well, it's one if the best releases of 2015 for "me" I think maybe you should stop the me part. The reader already knows you loved the album and it would be more convincing if u just stated it was one if the best albums of 2015 in general.

 | betray hey pal. that means alot. congrats on the promo again. been having to write a lot for school lately so thats been kinda sucking the motivation to fire out a review, but i'd really like to get a review in for FIR's new album, a night in texas' debut full length, and the last ten seconds of life's new album. in no way is FHTTS new album groundbreaking or new, but it's a load of fun. it's got a lot of influence of ABR and PWD and the vocals in particular are great for me personally.
