| RVAHC13 Depends on where you go, you definitely need a car. Between Portland and Hood River (where I used to live) there?s a ton of stuff worth seeing. Multnomah is the big tourist spot of course. Eagle Creek, Horsetail Falls, Elowah Falls, Starvation Ridge and the Vista House are cool places too. Also if you have time I recommend visiting Meadows and Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood.

| dmp3131 Ah right, Melancholie I've been meaning to check for years. Just last year though I started to branch out a bit more, so that's gonna be high on my priority list. Added Insomnium to that as well. I'll have to get to them soon, maybe tomorrow I'll finally get around to Melancholie at least haha

| dmp3131 I can't say I do. I've listened to a bit here and there but never really got into the genre as a whole. Incredibly talented musicians in general but hasn't really clicked with me.

But in a way its good, because if someone understands my humor and doesn't get offended or take something i said seriously when i didn't mean it to be, i know right off the bat that we can get along.

 | Proworks31 I agree completely, AILD first two are pretty horrible. Maybe people are just picky.I really hope Avengeds new album is good so people on this site can stop hating on people that like A7X. I guess there's not really any band that can escape the tyranny of the users of this website except crazy artists nobody has heard of before.Oh well.

| Proworks31 Yeah, most people on here hate bands like As I Lay Dying and Avenged Sevenfold.
Don't understand why A7X is so bad, unless you discount the obvious hatred for M.Shadows.
AILD is a little generic, but they have a few features to make them better than the general metalcore band.

| Proworks31 Yeah, A7X are my favourite band, so I do respect S/T to some extent. The Powerless Rise has Parallels, but I still think Ocean between us was better.
