| DropdeadWHA Oh man, I don't know. Seems like you have a varied taste in the genre. White Seas is the solo project of the female vocalist of m83 (if i'm correct and if you don't already know of her), Fiona Apple, Marina and the Diamonds, Charli XCX, Tove Styrke, Monophona, Sky Ferreira(sp). Depends how organic you like pop music to sound really.

| DropdeadWHA I don't think she's better than Lana, she's got the potential to be though. Lana is very one-dimensional imo, Zella seems abit more flexible sound-wise, we'll have to see though :) Do you listen to much 'pop' then, or? (too lazy to look at your chart)

 | unclereich ive ony dipped my toes in but the best pieeof advice i can give is find a review to model yours after or one to get inspiration from.. tell me about the artist a bit--flex your knowledge--then give an idea of the album's sound and why you gave it that rating.

| SPRFanOf5H It's just very intriguing to me, and since my chances of being a songwriter aren't that great since I can't play an instrument to save my ass but can write up great lyrics to tracks from other artists, I want to still work somewhere in music and contribute. Unfortunately for me I just don't know where to start, and working in radio especially top 40 does sound pretty fun and enjoyable to me so I could use some tips from all around.

| SPRFanOf5H Damn man, that is scary not having that security. I seriously wouldn't mind working those graveyard hours at a top 40 station like 102.7 KIIS FM in LA or Z100 in NYC, even if it did come to unpaid overtime crap. At least I am doing something, which frankly to me is more important than sitting on my ass which I have been doing and I can't stand doing any longer. I'd like it very much if you give me tips or your buddies from undergrad on how to get there in that specific path.

| SPRFanOf5H I was wondering since you did major in English, if it is a good-paying career path because if it is I certainly would try that route only of course for the reviewing sense as a minor of course. Want to be a radio host for some top 40 radio station or work for iHeartRadio, anything music-related like that would fit for me quite nicely.

| GnarlyShillelagh skoj you should consider writing reviews if that's something that interests you at all. from your posts you seem like a pretty reasonable, thoughtful cat. not to mention you have at the very least a functioning grasp of the english language, which is unfortunately a little scarce around here.
