  • Deviant. I'm really not familiar with the brostep stuff dude, so outside of the MoS and the Get darker comps maybe try Doctor P and Flux Pavilion's Circus One Comp. If you have allstars 6 you might as well grab the rest (there's currently 8 of them), or try Bar 9 and Reso's In Da Mix comps

  • RiffOClock folk/drone: preterite - pillar of winds, richard skelton - marking time, lee noble - no becoming. glitch: ryoji ikeda - /-, cyclo - id, pita - get out, nobukazu takemura - scope, edit - crying over pros for no reason. wanted to avoid IDM-ish glitch for the most part so hope these meet ur requirements

    November 10 08:28 PM
  • seedofnothing lurking = best word ever. i see what u mean. why do peeps get alt acounts anyways, im assuming due to bans or what not? is yours? im a musician myself and just found that there's soooo much crap out there, yet soooo much good stuff too. ive always shot the best of the best in music, so although its my taste, i always feel that these bands are creating the best music and deserve the most praise instead of all that metalcore crap out there and so forth
    November 10 08:23 PM
  • seedofnothing yeah i knew that all along, just didnt link the terms, thanks for clarifying bro
    November 10 08:18 PM

    August 9 04:56 AM
  • Eclecticist It's a good read, so far I am on chapter 3. The first chapter talks about the misunderstanding of what it is like to be "oppressed" and how to alleviate oppression. The second chapter is about how the current North American style of teaching (depository information) is more harmful than good and leads to oppression. The chapter I am on now is about true words and linguistic philosophy, how we oppress through our manner of speaking.

  • Gnocchi I look forward to being on the other end of this conversation. If needed. I look forward to the experience as in turn may improve my own writing.
    May 7 12:39 PM
  • Gnocchi Thanks for the input man. Ill definitely try something like that on the next couple . Thanks again for taking the time.
    May 7 12:31 PM
  • Gnocchi Thanks man. That's closer to my normal writing standard.
    May 7 12:24 PM
  • Gnocchi Hey Flamm, i have up'd the quality from that poor *cough* AILD review. Give things a read for me, if you find the time, this is closer to my normal standard of writing. If you're looking for a place to start, go with the Danzig review first.
    May 7 10:17 AM
  • Gnocchi Thanks Flamm, feedback is always appreciated, no matter how blunt lol, Thanks again.
    April 27 12:37 PM
  • Gnocchi nup, not offended, i have been to no writing courses, and my academics are a thing of the past. My only work load involves making some seriously high quality, sexy filled coffees. Read my Soulfly-review and compare, if you find some time?
    April 27 12:26 PM
  • Gnocchi So it would look really bad if i said i had used word?
    April 27 12:14 PM
  • Gnocchi slightly better no? fix some key grammar issues in the morning, maybe this will slow the hate i'm about to receive.
    April 27 12:02 PM
  • Keyblade Thanks for that. I'll definitely give it a listen. And I guess it makes sense that Nattens is intentionally unlistenable.
    April 27 08:06 AM
  • Deviant. There's a bit of mix, some are more electronic and darkwave based. Some are industrial based and Velvet Cacoon is bm with actual ambiance

  • Yotimi It's a lot like Kashiwa Daisuke but not as much glitchiness. Kind of like a combination of Kashiwa and Secede.

    February 21 10:08 AM
  • TheIllmatics yeah haha i really just listen to hip hop because it's mainly focused on lyrics. other genres are mostly about the music which i don't mind, but it's just not my taste.
    February 20 06:16 AM
  • TheIllmatics look at my 5 ratings, you should check some of those albums out.
    February 19 04:00 AM
  • TheIllmatics yo not all hip hop is just to look "cool". although i understand where you're coming from but still there's a lot of different genres of hip hop. street tales (biggie, nas, scarface) politically/socially conscious (common, public enemy, mos def, the roots) personal/emotional hip hop (eminem, tupac, joe budden) and then there's the generic type you're probably used to hearing
    February 19 03:59 AM
  • Wizard Nadja doesn't have a single bad song in their huge discography, I just have my favourites. Radiance of Shadows, Touched, Desire of Uneasiness, and Skin Turns to Glass are my favourites and I recommend them all. To be quite honest, I don't really listen to any other drone/ doom stuff outside of Nadja.
    February 13 02:55 PM
  • Crysis Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings is a neofolk compilation from basically every artist worth caring about in the scene, all of whom wrote songs exclusively for that release or picked previously unreleased tracks to put on it. I highly recommend it if you're in to neofolk.
    February 11 02:21 PM
  • Hawks As for other USBM acts, go for Agalloch, Ash Borer, Leviathan, Von, Judas Iscariot, Fell Voices, Krallice, Kult ov Azazel, and even some Xasthur (even though most people hate them, Telepathic With the Deceased is a great album).
    January 18 08:00 PM
  • Hawks Hey man! Yeah WITTR is one of the best USBM acts out there according to most people. My favorite of theirs is Black Cascade, but others tend to prefer Two Hunters. Any of their albums are worth a shot though. Nachtmystium is hit or miss for most people. You're best off starting with Instinct: Decay with them and then trying their most recent two albums. Only heard Om from Negura Bunget, but it slays. Progressive folk black metal.
    January 18 07:56 PM
  • Hawks No problem at all man. Anytime you need any specific kind of extreme metal recs let me know and I'll be happy to help.
    January 10 06:13 AM
  • Hawks What's up dude? I noticed that you said you haven't heard that much metal from 2010 so if you need to you can check out my top 20 from 2010. It's all metal, black metal mostly, so I'm sure you would find a lot of stuff to love.
