    October 27 03:31 PM
  • theBoneyKing Glad you dug it man! I'll check out that Delgados album soon enough. Don't want to rub it in your face but The National were amazing!
    October 6 12:11 AM
  • theBoneyKing Got a rec for you: East River Pipe - Poor Fricky. Excellent 90s indie stuff that Lambchop ended up covering three songs from on their album Thriller.
    October 3 11:03 PM
  • theBoneyKing Saw you just checked out a new Lambchop - funny, because I just did the other day too after taking a few months off. What Another Man Spills is the next up for me, will prob wait another month or two though.
    September 23 10:09 AM
  • DoofusWainwright It's real good, one of their most varied. Only weakness is slightly fewer songs I regard as classics, but that might just be me.
    September 22 08:24 AM
  • DoofusWainwright I'm on it
    September 21 09:17 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Go for it, I'm probably going to get through 5 or 6 recs from the list today. Ploughing through this one.
    September 21 05:42 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Dyl - can't you rate some more of the Buff Tom discog?

    September 13 04:15 AM
  • LogicTumble Hey man - Seen that you're a big fan of Sun Kil Moon. If you're into the spoken word music vibe, I'd love to know what you think of my album: https://joshuathorne.bandcamp.com/album/dear-listener . The sput page is: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Joshua-Thorne/90709/ . It'd be amazing if you can do a review, but if not I'd just love to know what you think!
    July 26 08:04 AM
  • SnakeDelilah viva la vida is literally the worst song of all time
    July 18 09:09 PM
  • DoofusWainwright It's the song that got me into the band, top 50 tune of all time :D
    July 4 04:20 PM
  • DoofusWainwright I just picked up a copy of 'Thriller / Hank' on CD to complete my collection - going to reassess those two. 'Ohio' is absolute quality, 'Popeye' has slowly become my favourite on that one. Have you listened to 'Paperback Bible' off of 'Damaged' yet? Worth taking a listen of that one in isolation, essential tune.
    July 4 03:53 PM
  • Drifter Nah I haven't checked October road. Been meaning to for a while but not yet. Def will though!
    June 15 04:51 PM
  • Drifter ..most solid surprisingly. Anywayyyy yeah, very nice to see some JT love on here
    June 11 10:16 PM
  • Drifter Yeah due to my moms sisters being quite a bit older than her, they'd listened to him since he started almost and kept listening until I was around 30 years later. One of my aunts even got Sweet Baby James way back IN 1970. I've tried to get his stuff for years but he's not exactly known for his albums so you mostly see that in stores. Still, I've gotten many of his albums through the years. Def check Never Die Young, Gorilla, and especially Hourglass and s/t. His newer one is also one his..
    June 11 10:15 PM
  • Drifter Sweet James Taylor love! His s/t is a very special album to me.
    June 11 04:40 AM
  • SowingSeason That'll be my next list =]
    May 24 07:36 PM
  • DoofusWainwright The fact you love both The The and The National so much pretty much makes you one of the greatest human beings ever Dyl
    May 11 04:30 PM
  • DoofusWainwright Yeah, something in Matt's voice, the rhythm and that scratchy guitar.
    May 11 01:23 PM
  • Rowan5215 absolutely no worries at all. it's somethin special for sure, happy to share it
    May 2 05:51 AM

    April 19 05:27 AM
  • theBoneyKing It's still not really true shoegaze, rym's genre tags for the album deserocbe it pretty well though: shoegaze and blackgaze primary, post-rock and dream pop secondary. I need to hear Slowdive and Ride myself, planning to very very soon actually as their new albums come out soon.
    April 14 09:38 PM
  • theBoneyKing Sorta, yeah. Two of the songs have virtualy no metal elements and the others are very much blackgaze
    April 14 12:54 PM
  • polyrhythm Yeah, one of a few really magical moments on that album. It's a 3.5 for me overall, same as Thom's first solo album, because there is a homogeneity to the music when he's contributing 90% or more. Not quite up to that golden Radiohead standard, but definitely worth a listen.
    April 13 08:03 PM
  • theBoneyKing That's true, I did. However I'd say that album is metal more in the songwriting than the sound, which is probably as much straight up shoegaze as is blackgaze. There are some harsh vocals but they're not that harsh relatively speaking.
    April 13 07:13 PM
  • theBoneyKing Haha, yeah every now and then I try a metal song or two to see if anything appeals to me...so far nothing has. Maybe someday.
    April 13 01:12 PM
  • theBoneyKing Automatic is the one I'm most familiar with so whenever I revisit them I'll definitely start with that one, then just go back to their debut (which I've never heard) and go chronologically from there.
    April 5 01:30 PM
  • theBoneyKing Pretty good song. I need to properly get into R.E.M., listened to quite a few of their albums years ago but haven't touched them since so essentially I haven't even heard them.
    April 3 09:51 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Thing is the lyrics seem so un-personal and occasionally even contrived. There's a point where he says "Hitler reprises in your soul" and sometimes I wonder if he actually meant that like some of those stupid far left guilt trip people or if he was just being edgy.
    March 29 12:51 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist I actually really like the lyrics. Some of the stuff I don't agree with but I love the idea of political grunge too. It's just some of the stuff from whiteamerica is a step too far and also some of the lyrics on stuff like Revol are total nonsense that only the writer of them(who disappeared and is likely dead) knows what they mean. So a few of the lyrics are just a mess and sometimes I'm like "well this is really intriguing but a bit far". But i think that's shock value in most cases
    March 28 11:06 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist It's one of those albums I'm really conflicted on. I can understand why someone would hate it and love it. It sometimes seems "triehard" and to my ears it's way too desensitized to hit me emotionally(save for one or two songs) but the vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation is pretty damn good. It's pretty much powerful 90's grunge pop with really angsty worldly lyrics.
    March 28 10:54 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist I'm really surprised you have not checked out Manic Street Preachers' Holy Bible. It's very powerful Alt Rock with grunge influences.
    March 28 09:55 PM
  • DoofusWainwright 'Nixon' or 'Ohio', should be nice easy wins that step up your Lambchop addiction
    March 28 07:34 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Thanks for the rec man! This is very interesting so far
    March 24 09:19 PM
  • theBoneyKing Haha no problem man, was just curious. I feel you on the procrastination thing - I spend waaay too much time here when I should be working on other things.
    March 21 02:53 PM
  • theBoneyKing Have you had a chance to revisit Fear and Whiskey yet?
    March 21 02:36 PM
  • VaxXi nice dig my dude
    March 21 12:07 AM
  • ashcrash9 List is also on Sput now. I assume you'd put more Left and Leaving stuff higher, right?
    March 2 09:09 PM
  • ashcrash9 Posted the Weakerthans ranking to my blog first if you wanna check it sooner. I'll get it on here later. https://insidetheheistrevengeblog.wordpress.com/2017/03/02/the-weakerthans-all-songs-ranked/
    March 2 06:01 PM
  • bgillesp Cool. And I'll check your SEAM rec soon too. I'm all about rediscovering some Pearl Jam today though!
    February 1 03:16 PM
  • bgillesp Idk if you check back on your old lists, but I just left a comment about the ee rec you gave me on your DJ list. Just felt like saying it was a great listen, [4.2] from me.
    January 31 03:56 PM
  • theBoneyKing Also I just posted my 2016 list, you should check it out if you're interested ;-]
    January 13 12:37 PM
  • theBoneyKing Nice, I'm glad you dig it. There's no problem rating it here though, if anything I (and I'm sure Pheromone would agree) would just be happy to see it get more ratings!
    January 13 12:31 PM
  • theBoneyKing You listened to the ee album any more dude?
    January 13 09:05 AM
  • Rowan5215 Yeah I need to spend time with Left and Leaving for sure. Apparently Child Killers is actually about the kid of the two Delgados singers that they aborted so that song is actually heavy af. By the Throat takes some time but when it hits it hits like a train
    January 8 10:43 PM
  • Rowan5215 Still think Reconstruction Site tops it a little bit though, title track and Plea and Hospital Vespers and Prescience of Dawn man fuk
    January 7 06:19 PM
  • Rowan5215 My Favourite Chords, This is a Fire Door and Without Mythologies definitely stood out
    January 7 04:22 PM
  • Rowan5215 Yeah can't say I loved it first listen but I'll keep jamming it. On the other hand Left and Leaving is AMAZING
    January 6 09:40 PM
  • Rowan5215 just jamming that Seam album you rec'd now. really pretty music, can't say I'm sold on the vocals yet but we'll see
    January 6 07:46 PM
  • Drifter He has one of the worst voices I've ever heard and the layering doesn't help
    January 4 03:22 PM
  • DoofusWainwright It is one of my all time favourite album covers! I need 1-1.5 range stuff so rec away dude
    December 16 12:04 PM
  • DoofusWainwright I'm listening to 'Metal Magic' by Pantera right now just to help my objectivity wtf
    December 16 11:55 AM
  • DoofusWainwright You've rumbled me xD
    December 16 11:54 AM
  • danielcardoso Lol yeah, must be a distant cousin :]
    December 13 04:04 PM
  • SowingSeason did you end up making it any further into the antlers discog?
    December 13 03:37 PM
  • claygurnz Saw you said every song on ritual is a 5, i'm totally blown away by it atm
    December 4 03:12 PM
  • theBoneyKing Nice! Those are possibly my top 4 but it's hard to say, it's one of my all-time favorites.
    November 23 10:31 PM
  • theBoneyKing Hmmm, for Drive-By Truckers I would say try Southern Rock Opera next if you want a more rock oriented sound or Decoration Day if you want a slightly more countryish sound compared to American Band. A few other things to try if you're interested: Wilco - Being There (which is much more like traditional alt-country), Jason Isbell - Southeastern (which I've reviewed, maybe take a look at that), Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker.
    November 21 02:03 PM
  • theBoneyKing Those are 3 great starting points! Though I don't really consider YHF an alt-country album exactly as there's really nothing else in the genre that sounds like it. It's an amazing album regardless. :-] As I'm sure you know alt-country is one of my favorite genres. It's full of underappreciated gems.
    November 21 01:40 PM
  • theBoneyKing I'm glad you like it! I need to review it one of these days. Do you dig much alt-country/Americana stuff?
    November 21 01:32 PM
  • zakalwe Cool. Glad you dig dude.
    November 1 03:11 AM
  • Gleam Please do check it! It's better than Reunion Tour imo, though L
    October 2 08:37 AM
  • Gleam Thanks! The Weakerthans are indeed incredible. Are you hyped for the new John K. Samson record?
    October 1 09:42 AM
  • DoofusWainwright It frightens me.
    August 11 09:53 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Google search it and it's on YouTube with some terrifying looking videos, it has a slightly different name for the same album (think that's also explained on wiki). I don't think it's on Spotify
    August 11 03:01 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Are you putting forward a rec in the new comp?
    July 23 06:28 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Bullet is copl but it feels like a great concept with mediocre execution
    June 7 08:52 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist I dont think i will. The top 3 best are Fake, street, and black in that order. The three worst are Bullet, Bones, Sulk
    June 7 08:43 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Faust arp and House. Actually, Faust is perfect just not one of my fav radiohead tracks overall. I have an IR review and ranking list if youre interested. For The Bends top 3 : Fake Plastic Trees
    June 7 08:15 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Havent listened to Amnesiac, Pablo or King. I dont give that much time too HTTT. Honestly feel like deleting my bends review. There were some things i regret saying lol. You convinced me to give it a 4.5.
    June 7 08:09 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Ya youre right none of them have weak tracks, just qeaker ones. Excelt sulk is weak af. Black star is so underrated. I dont really enjoy The Tourist, but Electioneering is underrated. And 8 of tge tracks on IR are damn near perfect
    June 7 08:06 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Oh im fckin blind lol. So IR is only your fourth fav?
    June 7 08:02 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Kind of agree, But Bones is weak and Sulk sucks ass tbh. In Rainbows only has 1 weak track, Ok and Kid have multiple
    June 7 08:01 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Thats true but i feel like a lot of ok/kid a megafans look over how good it is. Why dont you have kid a or the bends as a 5 if you prefer them to IR
    June 7 07:59 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist It ate it again wtf. IR , OK, KID, BENDS IN DAT ORDER
    June 7 07:57 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Wow it ate my comment too. Anways In Rainbows
    June 7 07:56 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Omg why is In Rainbows so underrated? For the longest time i hated In Rainbows and thought it was so overrated but honestly it's the best Radiohead for me. Id say In Rainbows
    June 7 07:52 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist How would you rank ok computer, kid a and in rainbows
    June 7 07:34 PM
  • DoofusWainwright Dylan they're a classic band, the next two albums are almost as good and then they experiment with their format a bit and there are a whole load more good to great albums that come later in their discog
    June 2 02:59 PM
  • TVC15 God bless you for nominatibg Crazy on the Weekend that's a ****ing beautiful album

  • MistaCrave Dude your profile pic has me in tears
    August 29 01:03 AM
  • theBoneyKing There was definitely a great EP in Pablo (the songs you mentioned are among its best), but to me it's always felt like on of those debut albums where the label was putting pressure on the band to release something so they put out an album of a few gems mixed with several duds.
    July 23 07:40 PM
  • theBoneyKing You have all the right Radiohead ratings, except Pablo Honey is a 2.5.
    July 21 06:01 PM
  • SmileNerd Nice ratings on here! Will be reading your reviews later.
    July 13 12:17 AM
  • psandy life changing. also: are you digging muse?
    July 3 02:11 PM
  • psandy dat phuckin sharkcat.
    July 2 02:10 PM
  • SowingSeason Personally, and in no particular order, I like Knights Of Cydonia, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Plug in Baby, Muscle Museum, and then possibly Reapers but it's been a long long time since I've really listened to their old stuff, and I'm also going off the top of my head. I'll probably make a list.
    June 16 05:23 PM
  • SowingSeason That's actually everything I've ever strived for, so thank you for letting me realize my dream
    May 29 06:18 AM
  • SadAndHolyGlow Your profile thumbnail made me LOL.
    July 26 01:29 PM
  • SowingSeason Yeah Funeral is great but it's a tad overrated. Deja is a great album but is easily grown out of. Both are still exceptional works though, hence the 3.5 ("Great") rating!
    January 17 02:45 PM
  • xxm Sir you are great i disagree with you on some things which is natural but you're soundoffs are excellent. thank you for being great
    December 9 10:17 AM
  • SowingSeason I'm in southeastern pa, certain areas were worse than others. We had bad flooding and the winds knocked out power, some of my friends still don't have it back. It was probably the third worst, behind NYC and NJ.
    November 1 09:51 AM
  • DaveyBoy Strangely, I could never get into Bodyjar. Unsure why tbh.
    July 11 07:22 AM
  • SowingSeason I don't really listen to it enough to change my mind...I'll let you know if I do though! :-)
    February 24 08:53 AM
  • SowingSeason they have just steadily gotten worse over time IMO
    February 23 10:31 PM
  • SowingSeason I was never able to connect with the suburbs the way I did old arcade fire :(
    February 23 09:53 PM
  • SowingSeason Thanks man, and he did find out already. He didn't know it was me at first because I had to change my name.

    August 7 02:23 AM
  • ThirtySixChambers Love your profile picture
    July 1 12:14 AM
  • SowingSeason well that rating is quite old...but i could listen again, and review it. in fact, that's not a bad idea. maybe within the next week
    June 23 10:41 PM
  • tiesthatbind Yeah Blackest Eyes is freaking awesome, my favorite on the album. New Foo Fighters does indeed rule, though I still give Colour and the Shape a SLIGHT edge (mainly because of Everlong). I'll always appreciate Shinedown for being one of the artists that got me going musically, but they just don't wow me as much as they used to. It's mainly the fact that a few of the heavier songs on Madness just haven't held up as well over time (Devour, Cry for Help, and Cyanide). It's still a 4.5 for me though.
    May 7 06:43 PM
  • tiesthatbind Got a rec for you, dude. You should check out the band Porcupine Tree, and specifically, their album In Absentia. Best modern progressive rock band I've heard (and they're heavily Pink Floyd influenced). I've been addicted to them this past year and I think you would dig them a lot.
    May 7 06:24 PM
  • tiesthatbind Just de-fived it this week :( It hasn't been one for a while though, Shinedown has grown off me a fair amount, even though I still have love for all their albums.
    May 1 12:23 AM
  • SowingSeason yea, it just happened last week. thanks man :)
    December 8 12:32 PM
  • SowingSeason the deed is done my friend. my username is sowingseason21
    August 1 07:04 PM
  • SowingSeason yeah dude i almost did a year ago but i didnt feel like taking the time to figure it out. i probably will though, i like the idea of having my own "chart" of most played stuff. Kind of like my own billboard hot 100.
    August 1 01:24 PM
  • SlightlyEpic it is my pet I got it from a pet shop
    July 29 10:08 AM
  • tiesthatbind Lol, I meant common sense fail for me, I should've checked your ratings before asking. You gotta be in the right mood for that one anyway. For me it was also a good way to get into Opeth without harsh vocals, and now I enjoy just about all their albums from Still Life on.
    July 26 02:33 PM
  • tiesthatbind Okay, nevermind, just looked at your recent ratings. Common sense fail.
    July 26 01:22 AM
  • tiesthatbind Eh, I don't think OK Computer is really my thing. I may rate it eventually but right now it doesn't really do much for me tbh. I may look into The Bends though. As for TDAG, I actually really like Sowing Season, I haven't listened too closely to very many other tracks from it though, I just need to have the right motivation to sit down and listen to the whole thing. I've actually been getting into a lot of Opeth recently, did you ever end up listening to Damnation?
    July 26 01:21 AM
  • SowingSeason i have it 4.5'd but it still has the potential to bridge that 0.5 gap
    July 25 07:26 PM
  • SowingSeason Kid A - I know everyone knows it's good, but for some reason it didn't hit me until recently. I'm assuming you've heard it, but if not im sure you'd absolutely love it
    July 25 07:22 PM
  • SowingSeason imo deja is a strong 4 or a 4.5. TDAG is an unquestionable 5 though
    July 25 07:18 PM
  • SowingSeason whether or not deja what?
    July 25 07:06 PM
  • SowingSeason thats awesome, glad to see you enjoyed them. words can't describe how much i like damnation though, to me it is a classic
    July 25 06:14 PM
  • SowingSeason I gave Fables from a Mayfly a listen, it is a solid 3.5 for me right now but I have a feelin it will grow on me and end up around a 4.
    July 6 09:25 PM
  • BrysonialTheBison Of course I like SoaD's s/t; it's an amazing album. We shall be good neighbours lawl. :D
    July 5 11:16 PM
  • tiesthatbind Haha, I actually still use Internet Explorer, just cause I'm too lazy to transfer my "Favorites" tab over to Firefox. But to change your avatar, go to "Edit My Info" and click "Edit Avatar".
    July 5 07:42 PM
  • SowingSeason sounds cool man, i'll definately look into it. especially if it is to you what TDAG is to me as what Blackbird is to Ties lol
    June 30 11:47 AM
  • tiesthatbind Yeah, they were on one of the first rec lists I got here, I never actually checked it out though. It sounded good though, I'll check it out.
    June 29 05:36 PM
  • SowingSeason thanks, and i'm glad you are back. i need more sputnik friends. and how dare you say they aren't noticeable!? everything about tay swift shines with a glorious sexiness that is beyond the human capacity to describe
    June 24 10:26 PM
  • SowingSeason Oh, and Fight Off Your Demons, the official TDAG leak, features a lot of songs that didnt make the album but they are still very good (particularly the first 4 tracks)
    June 24 10:18 PM
  • SowingSeason oops i skipped over the part where you said that...in that case, i'd go with daisy next...it is basically a temper tantrum rendition of TDAG's basic themes. But Deja is great too, it is basically tied with Daisy for my 2nd favorite. Then Your Favorite Weapon should probably be listened to last, even though it is one of the most enjoyable pop-punk records I own.
    June 24 10:16 PM
  • SowingSeason it depends. how much did you like TDAG?
    June 24 09:45 PM
  • Emim bro* ha ha ha
    June 24 07:54 PM
  • Emim Thanks, cro
    June 24 07:53 PM
  • tiesthatbind Good! Trust me, if I hadn't found the cool users here that I did, I might've left too. But I'm glad to see you came back.
    June 21 03:20 PM
  • SowingSeason welcome back! glad to see you didn't let this site's assholes get the better of you in the end...
    June 21 11:19 AM
  • SowingSeason whats this about you leaving
    June 4 09:26 PM
  • tiesthatbind Hey bro, you leavin' the site? I understand why though, the douchebaggery on the site can be pretty ridiculous sometimes. I honestly would've predicted that you would've gotten those comments in those lists, some folks around here can be pretty hostile/judgmental to users that don't listen to what they like.
    May 31 01:05 PM
  • tiesthatbind Also keep in mind, I usually prematurely rate things after only one or two listens, I like to see how my ratings change over time rather than waiting until I have a final opinion on an album before doing so.
    May 9 08:46 PM
  • tiesthatbind Chevelle's last two albums have potential to go up to 3.5 for me, but that's as much as Chevelle is ever going to get from me. I enjoy them from a musical standpoint, but their singer is why I can't really get into them, just too whiny for my taste, although he is much better on their later releases. You aren't the first to rec Chevelle to me, a couple other users on here are Chevelle fanboys that 5'd Wonder What's Next, which is actually their weakest IMO, I'm the minority opinion for that tho.

  • SowingSeason haha i don't think i can take credit for a band that sputnik gets off on every single day. but i'm glad that you are enjoying them as much as i am...diamond eyes hasn't left my cd drive since i bought it
    May 9 02:48 PM
  • tiesthatbind Just gave Diamond Eyes a listen, and I like it more on first listen than I expected, gonna be a 3.5 for now but I'll definitely come back to this.
    May 8 08:18 PM
  • tiesthatbind It takes me longer to get around to checking that sort of thing out, given that I prefer much more accessible stuff, but I haven't forgotten your recs, don't worry.
    May 8 01:16 AM
  • tiesthatbind Yeah, I've listened to a couple Deftones songs, but haven't listened to them too closely. I'll give them and OK Computer more serious listens soon enough.
    May 8 01:12 AM
  • tiesthatbind Yes, I've had it from the beginning. I think it works well as a closing song, just as well as Wayward One, I've honestly never listened to the album without it.
    April 20 06:27 PM
  • tiesthatbind It's definitely different, when I first heard that one (which was the first song I heard from them) I didn't know what to think. Soon I loved it though. I didn't think I was going to like From One too much at first, but it turned out to be a perfect fit with what I like in a hard rock band. And the Middle Eastern elements only make it better.

  • tiesthatbind I did plan on giving Chevelle another shot, when I do I'll be sure to look into that album, all I listened to was their first 3.
    April 6 04:29 PM
  • tiesthatbanned Just wanted to say, bro, I know liking Nickelback is taboo around here, but there's nothing wrong if you enjoy some of their material.
    April 5 03:32 PM
  • tiesthatbanned Yeah, we have to go and ask them to remove it. But they do list how long users are banned in the forums though.
    April 3 02:38 PM
  • tiesthatbanned Yeah, I actually didn't plan on spamming when I joined, me, Emim and a few couple others just got carried away (they had to 80 pages). What sucks is I was gonna review more soon. I'm trying to ask how long I'm out for cause they haven't told me yet.
    April 3 02:32 PM
  • tiesthatbanned Yeah, I got banned for spamming in the Emery thread.
    April 3 02:26 PM
  • tiesthatbind Yeah I enjoyed it. I finally listened to some of OK Computer as well. It's quite a bit different than I'm used to, so I'll hold off judgement on it for a while.
    March 24 04:04 PM
  • tiesthatbind And glad to see someone else that enjoys 3 Doors Down, most find them boring around here.
    March 18 04:20 PM
  • tiesthatbind Yeah, plus it just takes time to digest that sort of album, especially since it's not the kind of thing I would normally listen to. I figure I probably won't like it too much at first, but I'll try to give it time, I won't rate it for a while.
    March 18 04:18 PM
  • tiesthatbind Lol, and did you see the 1.5 star review of it on the front page?
    March 17 11:03 PM
  • tiesthatbind Haven't really had a chance to, I've been busy with finals, plus I'm still working on a discography review as well. But it is on my list for sure, just gonna be a little while.
    March 17 11:02 PM
  • tiesthatbind Will do.
    March 8 07:28 PM
  • tiesthatbind Success. I have survived Soulja Boy. And Brokencyde is definitely worse.
    March 8 04:35 PM
  • tiesthatbind I'm not a fan of death growls, so that's mainly what rules out Opeth for me.
    March 7 12:11 PM
  • tiesthatbind Nice. I'm not big on prog, but I have been seriously digging Dream Theater lately. I am soon to listen to Scenes From A Memory, according to AnotherBrick it's their masterpiese. Devin Townsend was also rec'd to me, haven't gotten to listening to much yet though.
    March 7 01:02 AM
  • tiesthatbind Eh, I'm just used to having to hear that kind of crap when my little brother blasts it from his room so I'm thinking I'll live. We'll see, I'll report back as to how torturous it is.
    March 6 10:30 PM
  • tiesthatbind Well I mean the only one that's really active on the site atm. My favorite is Breaking Inside, that's my favorite Shinedown song and one of my favorite overall songs. Other favorites from the album atm are Second Chance, title track, Sin With A Grin, but the whole album is so good ranking them would be really tough.
    February 28 02:21 PM
  • tiesthatbind Yes! You rated Sound of Madness a 5! Thought I was the only one lol. I freakin' love that album.
    February 28 06:17 AM
  • NeutralThunder12 the title track is really overrated besides the epic chorus. Riff is boring song is boring. But the chorus is EPIC

  • SowingSeason the better question is who doesn't like those bands
    February 15 03:48 PM
  • SowingSeason Yeah, they're my favorite band. It kind of gives the impression that I'm a Brand New fanboy. But oh well, better them than some s***ty band.
    February 15 03:22 PM
  • UncleSombrero How can't I like Rancid? That one's pretty good.
    December 31 09:20 PM
  • Ponton Haha thanks but in no way am I ready to be a staff. A few users have been here since 2005 and write much better than I do.
    December 30 10:37 AM
  • Dave de Sylvia We're a bit stumped as to what causes the comment count to show up wrong in profiles - it's been around since the profiles were overhauled a year ago, but it seems to have gotten worse recently.
