  • DatsNotDaMetulz My friend's band Novena are opening for Skyharbor in October in London so I'll be trying to wrangle a deal for Dev or Krishna to bring some GG merch over.
    August 20 03:29 PM
  • MercuryToHell Awesome man really sounds like much more of a transitional period from one part of the song to the next! If you ever want me to have a muck around with it then feel free to send me stems!
    April 16 07:18 AM
  • MercuryToHell Pleasure to be of service mate! Let me know when you next put something up!
    February 15 05:51 PM
  • MercuryToHell I think the guitars could use a little less fuzz and reverb, the synths are creating a really nice atmosphere themselves, and if the guitars are a little crisper in the mix it'll prevent it sounding muddy. Also, I think in the mid-section when it's just synth and drums, try something a little more electronic and glitchy sounding percussion wise. The MIDI drums are fine for backing the main track, but I think it'll create better fusion having something a little more intentionally synthetic. 2/2
    February 15 02:26 PM
  • MercuryToHell I'm thrilled you'd do a bit of digging and come to me man, that's awesome! I've given it a listen and I think structurally and technically it's really really good - I love the mix of the quite subdued synths with the main riff, and they blend superbly with the acoustic parts. It has a proper shape as a track rather than a messy collection of ideas, and it never gets too 'wanky' as a lot of this type of music can do. Really great job man! 1/2
    February 15 02:23 PM
  • OmairSh It's funny, whenever I actually click on an album to "dig", I stop listening to it. Weird. But I was in a King's X mood a while back for sure
    July 21 10:39 PM
  • Davil667 Ah, and it's pretty cool you had an tribute band. We also used to play some of their songs. So much fun!
    July 2 10:43 AM
  • Davil667 Yeah, they're just awesome. The second time I went to see them with my brother we sat in a beer garden at the venue before the show when we noticed the band sitting just some tables away from us. We both wore King?s X shirts we bought at the last concert. Doug went over to our table, shook our hands and began to chat with us. He was so nice and approachable, still can?t believe that really happened. Will remember that day for the rest of my life...
    July 2 10:42 AM
  • Davil667 Ha ha, yeah, it's great how they don't take themselves too seriously and at the same time kick some serious ass. Really glad you enjoyed them. Did they by any chance finish their set with Over My Head? It's such a great live track and the perfect closer...
    June 30 09:12 AM
  • Davil667 Hey Sitar! How was your King's X experience? I'm pretty sure they still kicked ass just as they used to.
    June 24 10:31 AM
  • OmairSh No problem man, I've enjoyed all the stuff you've shared with me. And yeah you definitely achieved what you wanted from that song in my humble opinion. Talented asshole, harumph! Wish I had the patience to learn an instrument
    June 12 10:41 PM
  • OmairSh So you definitely didn't send that song before. I feel it's got a really cool and "positive" feel to it like old school rock n roll, with more technical and progressive elements. Cool stuff man, the bluesy/jazzy solo section is especially good. You did everything on this song?
    June 4 03:30 AM
  • OmairSh Not sure if you have, but I'll check it out and get back to you :-)
    May 31 02:49 PM
  • OmairSh It had been a while, plus the new Leprous album made me happy so I think the occasion called for the MEW reunion
    May 29 09:34 PM
  • OmairSh Also MEW is back bitcheees!
    May 29 05:35 PM
  • OmairSh No pressure :-D
    May 28 10:38 PM
  • OmairSh WTF YOU'RE GOING TO SEE KING'S X!!!! LUCKY BASTARD! Ty and Dug will destroy your ears with their monster tones. Totally worth it obviously. Also dude I need someone to bounce lyrics off on the Leprous thread. Get on that.
    May 28 06:49 PM
  • OmairSh Never seen it, but Kelly Preston AND MEW?! Must have been like a childhood wetdream!
    March 2 08:32 PM
  • OmairSh Figuring out the world is so damn difficult, wish there was an idiots guide for it. I'm just job hunting currently, not exactly enjoyable either.
    February 22 02:51 AM
  • OmairSh School is for FOOLS! Aaand that's why we still go there of course :-). Cool mayn, I'll check out the track and criticise the fvck out of it :-D. Are you still in Switzerland?
    February 20 07:30 PM
  • OmairSh Yo, I prefer the convos in the shoutbox :-P. I've been well man, you tell, how're things?
    February 19 08:10 PM
  • OmairSh Version 2

  • OmairSh A new face for the avatars, my God
    October 27 11:25 PM
  • OmairSh Nicee, that sounds great congrats. Planning to stay there afterwards?
    October 22 11:38 PM
  • OmairSh Oh cool, what are you upto in Geneva?
    October 15 11:22 PM
  • OmairSh You and your ****ing luck. Where are you then? Also did you manage to find Jolly's albums?
    October 14 07:52 PM
  • OmairSh Duuuude. FK released their new album wtf. Have you heard it?
    October 13 03:37 AM
  • OmairSh No it was your original song. The shoutbox doesn't load beyond june or something so I can't find it
    September 13 09:33 PM
  • OmairSh Nice, a bit of a sputnik collaboration. It's cool that you're working on new material, keepin them creative juices flowin. Dude share the link to the first song of yours you made me listen to. I think it was your band's song, and it was on soundcloud.
    September 12 12:42 AM
  • OmairSh Nice, a bit heavier. This is a song you did on your own?
    September 9 05:26 PM
  • OmairSh It was only a matter of time before I reunited with her. Dude that guy's got a lot of cool videos. We need more electric sitar in modern rock/metal music! Pain of Salvation and Leprous are both coming to Toronto next month!!!!! FVCKING PUMPED!!
    August 19 04:51 AM
  • OmairSh You'll be happy to know that someone's back. You'll have to venture the comments section to know who
    August 18 10:05 PM
  • OmairSh Sweet jams
    August 17 11:38 PM
  • OmairSh I love this dude, great musical sense,
    August 17 11:23 PM
  • OmairSh Well they're new to the whole maritime thing, they'll realise the mistake of their leather clad ways soon enough :P (I actually didn't see any leather on them but whatever :P)
    August 17 11:23 AM
  • OmairSh Nice, must have been fun. You should do a rock cover of your national anthem :-). Biker boys have been done to death, they're setting a new trend, maritime dudes playing crane metal (pni)
    August 15 09:15 PM
  • OmairSh Dude just listen to that chorus, my God
    August 14 10:35 PM
  • OmairSh Aaaand now it's your turn, happy independence day.....Assholes :D
    August 14 05:56 PM
  • OmairSh Good God the mastering is bad though. Loudnes war what?
    August 14 12:33 PM
  • OmairSh Yeah that's what I thought, but I watched their videos and he only used a pick when he played the acoustic guitar. Yeah initially I thought it was going to be wank filled, but the first couple of songs have that vibe. It's actually got quite a few enjoyable riffs and melodies.
    August 14 12:32 PM
  • OmairSh Pretty cool that Kotzen plays without a pick, the fingers sound great on i'm no Angel, though of course the chugs don't have as much power. That Winger song was pretty cool
    August 14 03:50 AM
  • OmairSh The only reason I know about winger is Morgenstein. Haven't heard them properly, might check them out. Any recommended album? Dude The Winery Dog's debut is actually pretty decent. It's grown on me. The mastering is awful, which sucks since the guitar tones and drums sound great.
    August 14 03:20 AM
  • OmairSh Cool cover of Teardrop I like the guitarist's experimentation with tones and effects
    August 13 09:29 PM
  • OmairSh That was okay, didn't enjoy that as much as the outry of Diamonds. You know what I'm talking about, the Sitar-esque tone. Btw you might enjoy Civil Twilight's debut album. Also a good rock band with a mature writing style and really good musicianship.,
    August 13 09:19 PM
  • OmairSh Yeah it has quite a bit of character that has been severely lacking from the rock I've been listening to otherwise. I want to impregnate Still Here's chorus, it's so good.
    August 13 04:21 PM
  • OmairSh I'm enjoying Ghosts, not what I expected from a hard rock album. Has some pretty cool and refreshing bits
    August 13 09:57 AM
  • OmairSh Voodoo doll, voodoo child's doll I presume? :-D. Cool stuff dude. I envy you, you can play an instrument and have a band and all that sh*t.
    August 3 10:42 PM
  • manosg hahaha, good point man. After working for some time at the marketing department of a large multinational, I realised that my ass wasn't made for that environment. So, I resigned (first one ever in that company!) and started my own venture. My wife and I provide free education to people who wish to invest in foreign exchange via the internet. It's pretty interesting and it's much better to be doing something for yourself rather than bigwigs.
    August 3 03:58 AM
  • manosg Nah, it was a mandatory one-year thing all Greeks have to do (unless you're rich or famous, haha). Part of it was in Cyprus and the other was in Greece. Do you guys in India have to go through mandatory army service?
    August 2 03:42 PM
  • manosg Cool dude, you definitely have a lot of stuff going on. Hope you do well in all of your ventures! Cyprus is a nice little country. I actually lived there for six months at some point as I served in the army close to the capital. For the last 5 years I've been living 40 km away from Athens, the capital of Greece. It's a suburban area and I'm less than 1 km for the sea which is quite awesome.
    August 2 02:38 PM
  • manosg Basically, I haven't seen you much on sput lately so I was wondering where you are, haha. Hope everything's ok dude. How's New Delhi? It has double the population of Greece!
    August 2 03:26 AM
  • manosg Dude, where you at?
    August 1 01:38 PM
  • OmairSh Dude that was terrific! You've got a great rhythm section. You're singing and playing the lead guitar right?
    August 1 07:21 AM
  • OmairSh OOoooooooohhhh living together, big step in the relationship. That's really cool dude. Do you have videos of the show? Haha I wouldn't be surprised if people hadn't heard Lateralus before. How is the underground rock scene there? Was it just you guys performing or a number of bands?
    July 20 04:53 PM
  • OmairSh And congrats on the feature! I never review stuff that's recently released. Should try it though. And that cover art is seriously sexxy
    July 17 03:26 PM
  • OmairSh're going to be like... famous and sh*t. And then you'll forget about all your friends and family because of your new bentley driving buds, I envy you :-D. I finish in December, so not too long left. Man I would love to play a gig, must be such a great experience. Of course I would also love having enough patience to learn an instrument first, but that's a whole other can of wurms. Let me know when you make an EP, I'll bash it :-D.
    July 17 03:25 PM
  • OmairSh How's your band doing? You guys playing any shows or focusing on jamming and composing music? Oh cool, what you planning to study? With me, the usual. Have studying that needs to be done, but procrastinate to the max and then get overworked on the last day.
    July 17 10:04 AM
  • OmairSh Yo yo yo, what up homeboy?
    July 17 12:08 AM
  • AtomicWaste Thanks man - just finished my meds for it today, so I should be on the mend. Listening to this now, but your soundoff kind of echoes my initial sentiments haha. I like it enough that I may review, though.
    July 14 10:16 AM
  • AtomicWaste I'm recovering from strep and will have to dig myself out at work when I go back in on Monday, but I'll try and give it a listen!
    July 13 02:58 PM
  • dannyboy89 Inventive yes, but I don't think we see eye to eye on the creativity part. Obv we're not going to agree here. What's your opinion of The Who?
    June 7 02:08 AM
  • dannyboy89 I actually like both bands, and by the looks of it am one of the very few who do. But I prefer the grit and bluesyness of the Stones to the happy-go-lucky style of the Beatles.
    June 7 01:44 AM
  • dannyboy89 Dang dude, I actually disagree. Oh well, to each their own.
    June 7 01:40 AM
  • dannyboy89 What's your opinion of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones?
    June 6 08:08 PM
  • dannyboy89 Out of AiC and Nirvana, which do you perceive is more popular on the site, and why?
    May 19 04:30 AM
  • TheSonomaDude Sahara's Texarkana is up on youtube. Ya know, the album made by kids with a 5-year-old on vocals? I dare you to sit through all of it.
    May 17 10:49 PM
  • OmairSh Dude the songs very cool. Is that you singing? Are you playing the distorted guitar? I would suggest maybe extend the bridge section at 2:37 and make it moody. That's just my opinion since the solo is good and I'm just settling into the mood and then the riff pops up again. But other than that its very cool
    May 15 12:10 PM
  • dannyboy89 I guess my main reason for liking PJ and SG the most has to do with atmosphere and stuff. I guess those 2 bands pump me more in those terms. AiC still rules though, and I like all the LP's I've heard to some extent along with SAP and JoF. Haven't heard TDPDH yet tho.
    May 15 01:01 AM
  • dannyboy89 Yeah, I understand that. I guess that the reason why SG fans tend to have AiC as their 2nd fave Big 4 band and vice-versa. Perhaps part of the reason why PJ is least popular on the site is because they're kind of the odd one out, being neither metallic like AiC or SG, nor punkish like Nirvana.
    May 15 12:58 AM
  • dannyboy89 We seem to have similar views on the Grunge Big 4, the one difference is that PJ is my fave, followed by SG and AiC, while AiC is your fave, followed by SG. If I'm not incorrect, PJ is your 3rd fave.
    May 15 12:46 AM
  • dannyboy89 I agree on DotU man. The 3rd quarter specifically brings it down for me. Some of SG's best material in that album tho.
    May 14 05:47 PM
  • manosg I think you'll enjoy some Indian influences on a late 60s psych/prog album.
    May 1 02:41 PM
  • OmairSh Bringing the Pak India rivalry are we?
    April 28 05:08 AM
  • OmairSh
    April 28 05:00 AM
  • OmairSh I wish I had the patience to learn an instrument. I can play the air guitar and drums reasonably well. I imagine the keyboard player must be the most difficult to find since it doesn't exactly attract the most people. And then there's the problem of exes. Good luck with that dude.
    April 28 01:39 AM
  • OmairSh I'll check your stuff out soon. Dude my mouth hurts after watching this, holy...
    April 28 12:06 AM
  • OmairSh Dude that sounds fun, more fun than humanitarian law (ekh) haha. How many members are in the band and what instruments are being played? Dude I am in love with this man, I didnt think country music would be bearable until I heard him
    April 27 11:53 PM
  • OmairSh That's great dude, you started composing yet? Have you guys performed anywhere yet?
    April 27 10:14 PM
  • OmairSh That sigh tells me there are quite a few of dem challenges. Not much, treading along this road of lyfe following the sound of music
    April 27 09:35 PM
  • OmairSh My body's been moving to the beat and I can't stop it! Whas the happy haps?
    April 27 09:30 PM
  • OmairSh Okay this is seriously good s***
    April 27 09:24 PM
  • Voivod I'm surprised too... That Patrick Rondat dude nailed it though, one of the unsung heroes of guitar shredding... He was a session member in Jan Michel Jarre's touring band.
    April 14 03:27 PM
  • dannyboy89 Dude, do you Mastodon?
    March 31 12:50 AM
  • LordePots k cool i dont like people thinking im actually gonna hunt them down and murder them its all just the enigmatic potsy persona. oh wait i think i remember that actually i remember liking it but the vocals not being for me i think. and yeah it seems we have very little musical crossover tbh, altho my ratings on this aren't too reflective since ive mostly only rated stuff ive heard since returning. my silentpotato chart would have been a better indicator
    March 21 12:49 AM
  • LordePots dude u need to not take ME so seriously! lighten up its all jokes, get to know me before you judge what you don't know! i don't think we've ever spoken before though which is trippy because ive been here since '06 so sup buddy im potsy
    March 21 12:40 AM
  • dannyboy89 What's your opinion of Frusciante's guitar playing?
    March 20 02:16 AM
  • dannyboy89 UMOK hasn't aged well with me man. Some great tracks, but some filler as well. My faves on there are prob Incessant Mace, All Your Lies and Head Injury.
    March 16 01:46 AM
  • dannyboy89 Yeah, it rules hard. I'll see if I can jam it again tomorrow to rate.
    March 13 01:00 AM
  • dannyboy89 Dude, you need to check TAD - Inhaler ASAP (if you haven't already). Awesome album, jamming it atm and it rules face.
    March 12 10:00 PM
  • OmairSh I was revisiting Leprous material over the past few days so I'm a little too eager :P. From the University of Windsor in Canada.
    March 12 02:25 AM
  • OmairSh Just a taste of Bilateral!/s/Thorn/4AaVGn?=5,!/s/Bilateral/4AaV9u?=5. It's definitely an acquired taste. It's so hard to choose representative songs, I always think of it as more of an album, even though the songs are very distinct., ****ing VOCALS dude.!/s/Dare You/3cpZPG?=5. Link overload I know, my bad.
    March 12 02:20 AM
  • OmairSh Oh yeah I recall that conversation to a certain extent. Oooh lawyer, how long have you been practising for?
    March 12 01:18 AM
  • OmairSh,
    March 12 01:11 AM
  • OmairSh I'm doing my MBA currently. You? I'm addicted to this Btw if you haven't heard Leprous you need to check Bilateral, one of the most important modern younger prog metal bands. TPS is a bit more accessible (very relative term). Their music takes a few more listens compared to prog metal albums even, but they're very rewarding listens.
    March 12 01:09 AM
  • OmairSh Aight I'll hopefully get round to it soon. Yeah pretty much the same going on at my end. I was listening to Freak Kitchen a few days back
    March 12 12:42 AM
  • OmairSh Prog metal, well I'm already in that mood so I might check it out. I'm listening to Haken currently. What's been up?
    March 12 12:21 AM
  • manosg Hey dude. Yeah, I just took a look at your reviews and it's normal that I haven't read any other of your stuff besides Buckingham Nicks as I'm not so much into those albums. Anyway, you write really well man, keep it up!
    March 10 11:37 AM
  • dannyboy89 It's a cool cover dude, can't really nitpick much.
    March 7 12:41 AM
  • dannyboy89 Hearing the cover atm. Is that you singing?
    March 7 12:10 AM
  • dannyboy89 Alrighty.
    March 6 11:11 AM
  • dannyboy89 I saw that you had only 5's, 4's, 3's, 2's and 1's; so I imagined they wered.
    March 6 10:51 AM
  • BigHans dude sweet cover of Crazy
    March 6 01:27 AM
  • BigHans awesome being the best description m/
    March 6 01:13 AM
  • dannyboy89 Were your ratingsd recently?
    March 6 01:09 AM
  • BigHans m/
    March 5 11:51 PM
  • BigHans dude jam that Ranger album I reviewed recently it speeds hard for days
    March 5 11:42 PM
  • SharkTooth I have never heard periphery in my life,I just enjoy the threads
    February 20 09:02 AM
  • dannyboy89 I've learned over time that being technically skilled =/= being great. Paul Gilbert is extremely talented, for example, but I wouldn't say he's among my faves.
    February 19 01:10 PM
  • dannyboy89 What's your opinion of Billy Corgan's guitar playing?
    February 19 12:05 AM
  • manosg You're correct. I used to practice a lot a couple of years ago but gradually I played less and less to the point that I haven't touched my guitar for 6 months or so. The thing is that I do play some songs but I need to learn to play properly (ie. learn chords, chord changes, etc.) and it seems a bit tedious to me at this point. I really hope to find the drive to do that in the future though.
    February 7 05:51 AM
  • manosg haha! Good job man, I wish I had the tenacity to sit down and learn to play a few stuff on guitar. I play some guitar but nothing much actually.
    February 6 02:32 PM
  • dannyboy89 I sometimes think he has a know-it-all attitude and cares little for other people's opinions. I may be wrong though.
    January 31 01:53 AM
  • dannyboy89 Out of curiosity, do you think Nag is a bit arrogant?
    January 30 09:41 AM
  • dannyboy89 If you ask me, I'd tell you to jam their first 3 records, in reverse order. Given that you love SG, AiC and other bands influenced by them, they might grow on you. It's all taste though.
    January 27 12:01 PM
  • dannyboy89 By the way, do you listen to Black Sabbath?
    January 27 12:37 AM
  • dannyboy89 Nice to see SWoD 5'd, that album is amazing.
    January 27 12:19 AM
  • Wizard Hahaha far from an angry person, I just call out useless users as I see them ; ).But seriously, you will get to know me over time and realize I'm pretty quick to admit I'm over the top. No hard feelings dude. Cheers!
    January 21 07:57 AM
  • XingKing
    January 3 01:44 AM
  • dannyboy89 Jamming Superunknown atm, fantastic album. Which band do you think had the best riffs: AiC or SG? Or, do you think it's a tie?
    December 30 02:25 PM
  • dannyboy89 I think SD and LS are 1 and 2 respectively, but that could change.
    December 19 09:19 PM
  • dannyboy89 Nope, I'm taking a different approach. I started with Deadwing, and worked my way backwards to SD. Afterwards, I'm thinking of jamming FOABP and The Incident, and then get to the earlier stuff. Weird, but yeah.
    December 19 02:40 PM
  • dannyboy89 I see you love PT. I'm redescovering their discog, and starting to appreciate it more.In Absentia is definitely a more fantastic album than I gave it credit for, although SD rules hard too. What's your opinion about PT up to Signify?
    December 19 02:38 AM
  • OmairSh I had a feeling it was probably you. Dam dude I feel useless for not being able to play any instrument. Cool man, which instruments do you play?
    December 12 01:47 PM
  • OmairSh I just heard superman returns, pre good song. Who is this?
    December 8 07:58 PM
  • FearThyEvil I find them gimmicky, that's all I meant by that. I never said they're the worst band ever. If you noticed too, someone asked my why I disliked the band. I simply explained why and that's when people went bats*** insane.
    December 7 04:07 AM
  • FearThyEvil "That was a terrible joke. I bet your muzik suxxxxx!!!" Man, you seriously don't know when to stop do you? Not even what I meant in my comment and it's still the ONLY thing you bring up. I don't like the band, why are you being so defensive over the fact I'm not a fan?
    December 6 01:38 AM
  • OmairSh Dude screw Jolly, check my list!
    October 27 11:15 PM
  • OmairSh :-/, I needed a change of scenery (blasphemy I know)
    October 1 01:55 AM
  • OmairSh you get promo copies of some albums?
    August 26 06:00 AM
  • OmairSh Haha, dude you already have a girlfriend, be grateful
    August 22 01:23 PM
  • OmairSh Ah Cinaedus (Lakes), yeah he had that avatar before my first MEW one :P, but I'll spare his head, I've had enough killing for a while :P
    August 16 03:30 AM
  • OmairSh Yeah for sure, GRRM will be more hated than joffrey at this rate. Yeah the series has depth and oddly enough with all the money being thrown into the series it still feels very grounded imo. I mean people love it but I don't see the actors getting the fame like other mainstream tv series actors. And I like that about the show, its probably the greatest show of our era and yet it seems as if the actors don't realise it and hence don't embrace it.
    August 16 03:30 AM
  • OmairSh Taylor Swift song for GOT
    August 16 02:40 AM
  • OmairSh And "Cinaedus is making a play for your girl" ?
    August 16 02:35 AM
  • OmairSh Season 3 was picking up and then BAM, red fuking wedding. Its like, the main characters are celebrating and are all happy, Aryas close to meeting her brother and mother, Sansa's in a better predicament than when she was marrying joffrey, and you're just thinking okay they're getting close to reaching the Lannisters, but will prob reach Kings Landing in Season 4 and then....... Fuk me

  • OmairSh Yeah Robb was boring, not as boring as snow imo, but he was. The only reason his death was so painful was becasue he was supposed to avenge Ned. I've loved Cat from the beginning, she's had this incredible grace and presence that few characters have in the show. Dude Theons always been a shady mother fuker to me, insecure b itch. Yeah I think the villains are normally more interesting anyway, take batman for instance. Season 2 was a drop in quality from season 1, it picked up at the end
    August 16 02:28 AM
  • OmairSh Yeah and naming Robbs unborn son after Sean's character was just asking for trouble.
    August 16 12:48 AM
  • OmairSh to lighten the mood
    August 16 12:27 AM
  • OmairSh Also if you had waited for teh books to be completed you would be waiting another decade :P. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. I never imagined getting this upset over a series.,,,,,,,,,,,,
    August 16 12:25 AM
  • OmairSh DUUUUUUUUDEE why the fuuk did you read first?! Its strange now that I look back, there was no way that Robb was going to survive, he had more than 5 arrows in him, but it just shows how much I hoped he would survive SOMEHOW, I mean we NEEDED him and Cat. But GRRM has some fuking balls to kill of leads like this while barely hurting the villains. Fuking hell. Jon Snows the most boring character dude and he's going to be one of the main leads now along with Arya and Tyrian. Fuuuuk dude just fuuuk
    August 16 12:24 AM
  • OmairSh Well I have good people around me luckily. But **** dude intense doesn't even begin to describe those last horrific 7 minutes. I mean I've never felt like that while watching anything on a screen. WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUK DUDE. I nearly cried. I mean how does a book/show keep repeatedly ****ing the lead cast up the ass like this?!! And Cat was my favourite character so it was a huge blow, and its a HUGE blow for the show in general..... **** my God that was too much to handle in 7 minutes.
    August 15 10:56 PM
  • OmairSh Haha, wel sorrrryy a brother just wanted to have some fun :D. But nah I don't like spoiling stuff, actually I just watched the red wedding a couple of days back and needed to bitch about it :-(. My friends and family watched it when it was released and so they're over it. I need to vent properly dude. FUUUUUUCK!!!!!!
    August 15 10:45 PM

    August 7 03:41 PM
  • OmairSh Dam so if its on a weekend you can travel right? Yeah check em out and this is from their latest album, VOCALS OMG!!!
    August 7 12:18 AM
  • OmairSh Yeah she's posted......On the dark side of the moon. Well it was a one in a million chance of her name being Sana, yeah, there is no Sana sorry dude couldn't resist XD. Oooh into the older gals eh? Haha yeah they dress like a modern mainstream rock band but definitely don't judge this book by the cover. And I'm starting to like their fashion sense :D. But let them sink in, they take a while
    August 6 08:55 PM
  • OmairSh Dude if her names Sana then holler, I can get you hooked, she's an old friend.
    August 6 08:24 PM

  • OmairSh Ah de dusky ones, or "sanwli" :D. How do you regularly interact with the Pakistani diplomat? Dude check out Leprous - Bilateral, I mentioned it before.,,
    August 6 07:04 PM
  • OmairSh Obsessive celebrity crushes I normally consider stupid, but MEW is an exception :D. But its not like I have a blow up doll of her that I pretend to marry everyday *shifty eyes
    August 6 06:51 PM
  • OmairSh Chop his dick off dude, simple
    August 6 06:49 PM
  • OmairSh :D. Not very familiar with Bollywood but I know this ones an 8.5
    August 6 06:31 PM
  • Underflow Somewhat amusing how Karnivool's major criticism was not having their own sound, and now that they've found it, they've been greeted with their lowest rated album. Obviously a 3.8 still indicates large acclaim, but it's still funny to me lol.
    July 24 10:04 AM
  • Antonius Thanks Sitar. You must admit the similarities bro! :)
    July 24 06:15 AM
  • Underflow I'd just ignore them, man. Intelligent conversation is a rare commodity on Sputnik, unfortunately, and talking to them won't change anything.
    July 19 02:31 PM
  • Calc the band, post it on their facebook.
    July 18 10:32 PM
  • Calc damn you da man :] make sure to share it with them!
    July 18 10:07 PM

    July 16 01:20 AM
  • SgtPepper Thanks. and both actually.
    July 15 06:29 AM
  • SgtPepper I don't think you and I have ever talked outside of that Miles Davis thread, but I want to say that I have always loved your username and now that profile picture. Very nice, man.
    July 15 05:41 AM
  • headphones Kuch kuch hot ta hai dude \m/
    July 15 02:36 AM
  • Piglet hahah yeah no i agree with you 100% on thatnahnah nah i don't like discussing things like the ashes with anyone besides close friends, ahha! because everyone has their own opinion and there's so much microscopic analysis and criticism and stuff like that, i rather just watch it with a cold beverage with a couple friends and leave it at that (:
    July 13 11:12 AM
  • pribosse check it out bro
    July 12 06:04 PM
  • Piglet an indian pace bowler?? as if you don't admire kapil dev?! oh, australia of course ahha!
    July 12 08:36 AM
  • Piglet allan donald? damn yeah, him and pollock were my favourite saffasyeah yeah i know what you mean, i could barely hit a ball for my life two years ago but just practising every day works wonders. the back injury has been a bit of a blessing because now that it's good again i can bat, bowl leggies and swing it both ways where do you live though?
    July 6 11:09 AM
  • discharge0 your taste is gross
    July 5 01:26 PM
  • Piglet hey, if you're short you might as well admire malcolm marshall the other legendary quick west indian bowler! short fast bowlers tend to make the ball skid on which makes up for taller bowlers getting awkward bouncenah yeah i used to be a swing bowler but my back broke down this year, i'm pretty much just a batsmen now!
    July 5 12:14 PM
  • Piglet hahahah man, curtly is king!! are you a fast bowler then or something?
    July 5 10:38 AM
  • Piglet WHAT THE **** HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS HIM?!?!??? what???? BULLs***!! i thought no one would get it
    July 5 06:36 AM
  • jacksparrow007 BTW I've got these - Kaav, Menwhopause, Lagori, Baiju Dharmajan, Lounge Piranha, Chandresh Kudwa, Bicycle Days, Grasshopper, Goddess Gagged, Swarathma etc.
    June 28 11:47 PM
  • dannyboy89 I see you like Hendrix. It's interesting to note that even Josh Homme cites him as an influence, even with all the time passed after his death.
    June 26 01:36 AM
  • jacksparrow007 Have you got Soulmate - Shillong?
    June 25 03:15 AM
  • jacksparrow007 Any other Indian albums in 320 kbps?
    June 25 03:15 AM
  • jacksparrow007 Do you have Zero hook album in 320kbps? Or the Them Clones album? Can we do this on email? Whats your gmail id? Mine is anandghegde at
    June 24 01:33 PM
  • dannyboy89 And Thayil's and Cantrell's riffs are better than Gossard's imo. But McCready's one of my fave lead players.
    June 21 01:16 AM
  • dannyboy89 I'll admit that both your top bands have/had better bassists than PJ at the least. Mike Starr ruled, and SG has some cool bass grooves here and there.
    June 20 08:14 PM
  • dannyboy89 So, how would you rank the Big 4? PJ is my fave, followed by SG and AiC. As some might already know, I'm not a big Nirvana fan, only care for some songs on Nevermind.
    June 20 01:19 PM
  • dannyboy89 I see you like grunge. Interesting.
    June 19 02:10 AM
  • DatsNotDaMetulz Yeah man I'm looking into getting tickets, if I can get them I'll message the band page about bringing over a CD.
    June 17 06:48 PM
  • Jade Hey dude! Saw you expressed interest in the Press to Meco album, and I uploaded its tracks to Youtube. Check out the thread's latest comment if you're interested.
    June 8 02:08 PM

    May 28 08:02 PM
  • OmairSh Mr. Fast finger, cool nickname. But Mattias is a different beast, love the way he teases teh guitar and makes it squeal
    May 28 04:28 PM
  • OmairSh ****ing 3:22, I just love that part
    May 28 02:43 PM
  • greg84 Haha. Yeah. I've noticed that the new one is not quite as heavy, not enough sludge.
    May 28 07:24 AM
  • greg84 It's growing on me too. I thought it was terrible after one spin. Yeah, this by-the-numbers approach is killing it a bit for me.
    May 28 06:08 AM
  • greg84 I like it, but I expected more. It's a bit of a letdown for me.
    May 28 06:01 AM
  • tempest-- Well aside from the obvious production, mixing and mastering issues, the verse vocal melody and rhythm could be improved, simply by changing things around. The pre-chorus and chorus itself I found quite enjoyable, and the soloing is good, but I would remove the clean/soft bit just before it. Also I would add in some sort of bridge (along with the solo section). Solid beginnings though! :-]
    May 21 08:41 AM
  • NocteDominum sup man, write for my site:
