  • Dewinged Gotcha. No worries, just send a reminder to me or Gnocchi when the time comes, so we can include it. Good luck with the album!

  • OmairSh Haha it looks really weird not seeing "User" on the profile anymore. Looks like I'll leave my rebellious Bernie Sanders way behind and join the establishment XD. What happened to your status dude?? Do you need to write a certain number of reviews to maintain it every year?

  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Hey man, i know we are in a pandemic and money is tight for everyone but I put together a gofundme for minushuman. I dont know if you saw his list but he suffered a pretty brutal loss this weekend and I thought maybe we could all chip in a few bucks and help him out with groceries or rent or whatever this month while he works through this tough time. If you can donate a few bucks and share this with some other users to help spread the word that would be awesome: https://gf.me/u/y743c5
    November 10 06:39 AM
  • Get Low It's all those knobs, bro. That s***'s scary.

  • OmairSh Sup doood. Not sure if you'll enjoy but I thought I'd share anyway. Pakistani Hard/Prog Rock. Youtube links in my first comment if you're curious :-). Hope all is well! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/81491/Qayaas-Uss-Paar/#comments
    May 30 03:17 AM
  • xxm You?re welcome.
    May 13 05:31 PM
  • xxm I know that the conversation around it has gotten hairy to say the least but I really liked your American Love Story review.
    May 9 12:38 PM
  • OmairSh Oh and I have a bank Job, so you weren't too far off haha
    May 1 03:21 PM
  • OmairSh Hahah probably! I've always had the acting /performer bug, and I guess engineering triggered it :D. At the very least it's a creative outlet for me, if something comes out of it then great!
    May 1 02:57 PM
  • OmairSh Haha I know right! I'm such a lazy git when it comes to instruments. I devote my time towards recording wacky s***, and going for acting classes haha. I first performed on stage during undergrad when I was 19, and then on and off after. So I have 13 years of performing experience in one way or another :-). I've uploaded some stuff on youtube/insta if you're interested haha. Hollywood, or even Youtube would be great (self sustainability being key basically)
    April 29 02:59 AM
  • OmairSh Yoo dude. Oh damn sorry to hear they contracted it, but glad to hear they've recovered. It's really crazy how quickly it's spreading and how many people have died because of it. Yeah man this thing is here for a little while unfortunately. People are worried about losing the summer, dude it's going beyond. They've started human trials for the vaccine though so that's good
    April 29 02:56 AM
  • OmairSh God damn that's a healthy amount of experience man, very nice! I never really had the patience to learn any instrument, but I would love to compose stuff, so maybe I'll get the impetus to take up the guitar and keyboards in life sometime hah. The music is really well made dude! Keep it up. And it's cool that you have an actual band. Must be so much fun jamming. So you're delving into songwriting and me into acting. We could possibly work on a music video in the future agar zinda rahi tou, Haha!
    April 27 11:19 PM
  • OmairSh Fun fact, the drummer and bassist on the album are renowned Indian players in the jazz fusion scene in India; Sheldon D'Silva, and Gino Banks. Maybe you've heard of them. So that might spark some more curiosity for ya ;-)
    April 27 03:30 PM
  • OmairSh Also, if you're interested, there's a high caliber Pakistani prog/jazz rock band with sufi foundations (Mekaal Hasan Band) that just released an album. Jamming it a lot atm. I've shared a few Youtube links in the comment, so you'll get an idea if it even tickles your fancy (though I'm sure it will if you give it time) :-) https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/81310/Mekaal-Hasan-Band-Andholan-Re-Recorded/
    April 27 03:27 PM
  • OmairSh Yooo dude, finally checked out your songs man. Wtf this is really great s*** dude! The guitar tones and playing are killer, damn man didn't know you played THIS well! AND you sing? Leave some talent for this other desi ****er haha! How long have you been playing guitar and keyboards for now?
    April 27 03:18 PM
  • TheNotrap Thanks a lot SH! ;)

  • el_newg it's the same password haha! just wanted a new name to consolidate my social media accounts and thought "why not start fresh?"
    April 20 02:39 AM
  • OmairSh Also, I'm totally in love with Kamran from Coke Studio's bass playing and his red bass. Dude is so ridiculously talented and tasteful. I wish someone would notice him and he'd feature on Western albums. Check out #5 as well. That one's mood is so good
    March 18 06:33 PM
  • OmairSh I'm surviving haha! Things are good apart from the corona s***storm. People have started getting paranoid here as well. Governments telling places to close down. Strange times. How's NY? How's your better half? :-D. Nicee dude, still working on music, that's cool. I'll try and give it a listen this week You know how I always need to be in the right mood to appreciate stuff properly. Like totally being in my desi mood atm haha. Dude I'm addicted to #4 from the list
    March 18 06:29 PM
  • OmairSh Btw I have a new Pakistani music list out that you might enjoy ;-) https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=191063

    September 5 12:54 PM
  • Davil667 Was so happy to see KX again this Friday, now they had to cancel some tour dates due to a family emergency... Of course I wish them all the best, but I'm really sad rn :[

  • Davil667 Just checked out the 24-7 Spyz album, incredibly fun record so thx for the rec! Like a mixture of Living Colour and T.M. Stevens. You might check out his debut, Out of Control, pretty sure you?ll dig it :] Will get on the Wildhearts record soon. Also never heard of em before.
    August 12 08:32 PM
  • Davil667 Hahaha this is hilarious! Love these guys so much, and I?m so excited for their new output. Most anticipated release in a long time.

  • Davil667 Hey Sitar, have you heard anything on when the new KX record will be released actually? S t o k e d
    August 10 07:42 PM

    July 18 11:28 PM
  • Friday13th K then I can't count your vote for Evership!
    July 17 11:25 PM
  • Friday13th Hey man, I didn't add your votes yet because I wanted to be sure. Did you listen to all the prog albums #3-8 in my latest list?
    July 17 10:38 PM
  • PistolPete Hey! Iunno if you have the time but I was wondering if you?d want to give some constructive criticism about my Banks review. Truthfully, I should always run it through the proofreading thread in the forums first, but I always succumb to the paranoia that someone will post theirs before me and undo my hard work lmao. Anyways I?d love to hear ways I can write better, lemme know
    July 17 12:22 AM
  • neekafat That totally works! (: The only problem is it's gonna be hard to fit write-ups for all three unless you mean you wanted to start where I'm at now! Do you want me to share our docs with you so that you can me through there?
    July 15 01:00 AM
  • neekafat lemme knowwww
    July 15 12:17 AM
  • neekafat Depends how you want to go about it! I'm running a little slow with my list due to the crams, but if you want us to start a new one and transport my write-ups to that one, you can play catch up through them while I'm slowed down! Or you can just start off where I am now but either way I'd be down making a new list (:
    July 12 09:47 PM
  • neekafat Did I hear you volunteering to fill zombie's spot??
    July 12 08:45 AM
  • Calc I'm law enforcement not a lawyer lol. and I'm probably gonna skip on He is Legend this time. knock it out if you want bro
    July 2 06:08 PM
  • hesperus You?re already in the FB group chat, right? If so, you?re solid
    June 14 02:51 AM
  • Davil667 Thx man! Patience is a virtue after all ;] I?ll give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes.
    June 13 06:45 PM
  • Davil667 Yea, maybe I will. Got some pretty bad shoulder injury about three years ago which resulted in surgery and then a frozen shoulder. Battling with it since then, and playing bass has been almost impossible due to the pain. Has been a while since I last picked it up so maybe it?s time now for another attempt. Your vid is a great motivation for sure :]
    June 13 01:51 PM
  • Davil667 Damn, just did. This is incredibly good bro! Leaves me stunned, this is so much fun to watch. You?re one talented mf for sure :] Makes me want to pick up my bass again soooo hard!
    June 13 08:48 AM
  • DoofDoof I think I'll see a bit more common ground on a 90s rock songs list - the challenge would be to stretch it to a top 100 ;)
    June 10 06:55 PM
  • DoofDoof would like to see a rival Top 50 rock songs of the 90s list. Well, I would like to see a rival one of the 10s too but that is harder to pick
    June 9 03:45 PM
  • Dewinged Let's do that. In the meantime I wanna write up the new Fire! Orchestra. Beasty album.
    May 29 02:12 PM
  • Dewinged I am going through their (lengthy) discography today, but it's veeeery dense. If you are more familiar with them maybe I'd let you handle them. I mean, I can botch smth up maybe but I prefer to leave it to the conosseurs ;)
    May 29 05:33 AM
  • Dewinged Yo, are you gonna write'up that new Destrage? They sound to me like your field of work ;)
    May 29 02:12 AM
  • Gnocchi Yeah and I'll get you in there We mostly just s*** talk music and the podcast thing

  • JohnnyoftheWell Ooh could be! Got a bit on my plate atm but will be pretty clear in a week or so - what's hot?
    April 30 10:31 PM
  • Calc I'm sorry dude, I'd love to but with these master's degree classes, Army stuff, and new baby I don't think I can give it the time it would deserve. That's why I've gone into lurker status for the time being.
    April 30 09:20 PM
  • StrikeOfTheBeast thanks fren \m/

    April 20 06:44 AM

    April 19 03:36 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Heyhey, am thinking of reviving the review a random album game - you up for getting involved if so?
    April 19 04:45 AM

    April 18 04:24 PM
  • Hopelust Holy **** thank you I had been looking in my feed for two weeks now for that conversation we had. I'm marking it in spotify now. I owe you one.
    April 5 03:40 AM
  • Davil667 I just remembered we had a little chat on Nuno and MW already in the Pornograffitti thread. All of his projects are incredible. Did you by any chance already listen to DramaGods and Population 1? The latter one is quite different from his usual stuff in parts but I dig it just as much.
    April 4 11:08 AM
  • Davil667 Yea you?re totally right, never thought anyone would notice at all! Since I?ve joined sput you?re actually the first one ever to speak of them. You just restored a vital part of my musical faith in this community :]
    April 1 12:50 PM
  • Davil667 Yeah amazing news, really more than excited about it. Last time I saw them was 2017, I thought this might have been the final KX concert I had the honor to visit. And now they are coming to my city, and with a new record at that. I?m a damn happy man right now :]
    March 27 11:07 PM

  • Kompys2000 Glad you're liking Exemption man! They're a little all over the place for sure, but still a ton of fun IMO. Oh also, if you're still hungry for more Moon Tooth-adjacent stuff, I managed to dig up this John Carbone solo project from 2011: https://soncoal.bandcamp.com/
    March 13 04:13 AM
  • Keyblade btw congrats on contrib bruh
    March 13 03:58 AM
  • Keyblade yea man, I recently played it while I worked and I forgot just how bad it was. every time dude opened his mouth I cringed. his tired talking points aside, he talks like he's writing a bad sput review its embarrassing
    March 13 03:58 AM
  • OmairSh Dam, you've had a busy couple of years! Great to hear man. NY must be a fun place to live at least. It's expensive, but at least there's lots to do right. Haha yeah man Toronto's decent, but someone from NY may be unimpressed :-P. If you're ever in Toronto let me know
    March 11 05:20 PM
  • OmairSh Married, living in NY, and working on an EP? Damn there have been somes from your end. Many congrats man! When did you get married? How's your EP shaping up? What genres are you tackling? I'm in Toronto man, been here for years now.

    March 2 09:58 AM
  • OmairSh That's great man. Getting paid to watch lots of great bands live, review their music, and interview them? Sounds like a great gig. Hopefully you do dude. How's life otherwise?
    March 2 05:12 AM

    October 11 12:44 AM
  • Divaman Ohhh. I get it now. OK. (Wasn't connecting the dots on The Mowgli's apostrophe.) All good. Thanks for clarifying.
    September 3 06:03 PM
  • Divaman You seem like you're looking for an argument. Why?
    September 3 08:54 AM
  • Dmax28 Yea I like it man. I'm not huge on "The Mad Song" But the rest is very nice, especially "I am Dissolve". I really like the melodic bits and how the music keeps changing on a dime. I hope they can maintain this quality and do an LP. I always get a nice little jolt of enthusiasm when I come across a unique prog band like that, so thanks for the review I wouldn't have found it otherwise.
    August 10 02:37 PM
  • Kaiwaz you'll like it man
    July 15 02:56 AM
  • Kaiwaz Would you like to come into our small discord server to chat? You always seem cool and we would love it if you visited. Just let me know.
    July 15 01:37 AM
  • OmairSh Yoo, I don't listen to btbam or deer hunter, but Leprous put on a great show, even if their new album is boring
    February 2 11:00 PM
  • MercuryToHell Hey man, here's a download code for you! Go to http://messfx.bandcamp.com/yum and your code is: tvwf-3xdsThankyou!
    December 31 06:25 PM
  • SinkTrap Bulls***. Listen to Urban Dance Squad. They are way more musically innovative than RATM. RATM innovated nothing. And BackWordz are much better musicians and songwriters.
    December 4 09:11 PM
  • MercuryToHell Yeah definitely a little more crunchy, still a little muddy but the overall mix is really impressive man, have you got plans for an album/EP?
    December 2 08:00 AM
  • MercuryToHell Just given it a spin, the riffs could do with being a little brighter in the mix, but overall this has come on a long, long way, really feels well structured as a track! I dig this!
    November 28 10:36 PM
  • DatsNotDaMetulz My friend's band Novena are opening for Skyharbor in October in London so I'll be trying to wrangle a deal for Dev or Krishna to bring some GG merch over.
    August 20 07:29 PM
  • MercuryToHell Awesome man really sounds like much more of a transitional period from one part of the song to the next! If you ever want me to have a muck around with it then feel free to send me stems!
    April 16 11:18 AM
  • MercuryToHell Pleasure to be of service mate! Let me know when you next put something up!
    February 15 10:51 PM
  • MercuryToHell I think the guitars could use a little less fuzz and reverb, the synths are creating a really nice atmosphere themselves, and if the guitars are a little crisper in the mix it'll prevent it sounding muddy. Also, I think in the mid-section when it's just synth and drums, try something a little more electronic and glitchy sounding percussion wise. The MIDI drums are fine for backing the main track, but I think it'll create better fusion having something a little more intentionally synthetic. 2/2
    February 15 07:26 PM
  • MercuryToHell I'm thrilled you'd do a bit of digging and come to me man, that's awesome! I've given it a listen and I think structurally and technically it's really really good - I love the mix of the quite subdued synths with the main riff, and they blend superbly with the acoustic parts. It has a proper shape as a track rather than a messy collection of ideas, and it never gets too 'wanky' as a lot of this type of music can do. Really great job man! 1/2
    February 15 07:23 PM
  • OmairSh It's funny, whenever I actually click on an album to "dig", I stop listening to it. Weird. But I was in a King's X mood a while back for sure
    July 22 02:39 AM
  • Davil667 Ah, and it's pretty cool you had an tribute band. We also used to play some of their songs. So much fun!
    July 2 02:43 PM
  • Davil667 Yeah, they're just awesome. The second time I went to see them with my brother we sat in a beer garden at the venue before the show when we noticed the band sitting just some tables away from us. We both wore King?s X shirts we bought at the last concert. Doug went over to our table, shook our hands and began to chat with us. He was so nice and approachable, still can?t believe that really happened. Will remember that day for the rest of my life...
    July 2 02:42 PM
  • Davil667 Ha ha, yeah, it's great how they don't take themselves too seriously and at the same time kick some serious ass. Really glad you enjoyed them. Did they by any chance finish their set with Over My Head? It's such a great live track and the perfect closer...
    June 30 01:12 PM
  • Davil667 Hey Sitar! How was your King's X experience? I'm pretty sure they still kicked ass just as they used to.
    June 24 02:31 PM
  • OmairSh No problem man, I've enjoyed all the stuff you've shared with me. And yeah you definitely achieved what you wanted from that song in my humble opinion. Talented asshole, harumph! Wish I had the patience to learn an instrument
    June 13 02:41 AM
  • OmairSh So you definitely didn't send that song before. I feel it's got a really cool and "positive" feel to it like old school rock n roll, with more technical and progressive elements. Cool stuff man, the bluesy/jazzy solo section is especially good. You did everything on this song?
    June 4 07:30 AM
  • OmairSh Not sure if you have, but I'll check it out and get back to you :-)
    May 31 06:49 PM

    May 28 10:49 PM
  • OmairSh Never seen it, but Kelly Preston AND MEW?! Must have been like a childhood wetdream!
    March 3 01:32 AM
  • OmairSh Figuring out the world is so damn difficult, wish there was an idiots guide for it. I'm just job hunting currently, not exactly enjoyable either.
    February 22 07:51 AM

    October 13 07:37 AM
  • OmairSh No it was your original song. The shoutbox doesn't load beyond june or something so I can't find it
    September 14 01:33 AM
  • OmairSh Nice, a bit of a sputnik collaboration. It's cool that you're working on new material, keepin them creative juices flowin. Dude share the link to the first song of yours you made me listen to. I think it was your band's song, and it was on soundcloud.
    September 12 04:42 AM
  • OmairSh Nice, a bit heavier. This is a song you did on your own?
    September 9 09:26 PM
  • OmairSh It was only a matter of time before I reunited with her. Dude that guy's got a lot of cool videos. We need more electric sitar in modern rock/metal music! Pain of Salvation and Leprous are both coming to Toronto next month!!!!! FVCKING PUMPED!!
    August 19 08:51 AM
  • OmairSh You'll be happy to know that someone's back. You'll have to venture the comments section to know who
    August 19 02:05 AM
  • OmairSh Sweet jams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTfIJ5kzjhg
    August 18 03:38 AM
  • OmairSh I love this dude, great musical sense https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqIKZiJVS6k, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jsxtnxwdstw
    August 18 03:23 AM
  • OmairSh Well they're new to the whole maritime thing, they'll realise the mistake of their leather clad ways soon enough :P (I actually didn't see any leather on them but whatever :P)
    August 17 03:23 PM
  • OmairSh Nice, must have been fun. You should do a rock cover of your national anthem :-). Biker boys have been done to death, they're setting a new trend, maritime dudes playing crane metal (pni)
    August 16 01:15 AM
  • OmairSh Dude just listen to that chorus, my God https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pmmh69G-pt0
    August 15 02:35 AM
  • OmairSh Aaaand now it's your turn, happy independence day.....Assholes :D
    August 14 09:56 PM
  • OmairSh Good God the mastering is bad though. Loudnes war what?
    August 14 04:33 PM
  • OmairSh Yeah that's what I thought, but I watched their videos and he only used a pick when he played the acoustic guitar. Yeah initially I thought it was going to be wank filled, but the first couple of songs have that vibe. It's actually got quite a few enjoyable riffs and melodies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0scTBkZjASw
    August 14 04:32 PM
  • OmairSh Pretty cool that Kotzen plays without a pick, the fingers sound great on i'm no Angel, though of course the chugs don't have as much power. That Winger song was pretty cool
    August 14 07:50 AM
  • OmairSh The only reason I know about winger is Morgenstein. Haven't heard them properly, might check them out. Any recommended album? Dude The Winery Dog's debut is actually pretty decent. It's grown on me. The mastering is awful, which sucks since the guitar tones and drums sound great.
    August 14 07:20 AM
  • OmairSh Cool cover of Teardrop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcO6xQq7oNs I like the guitarist's experimentation with tones and effects
    August 14 01:29 AM
  • OmairSh That was okay, didn't enjoy that as much as the outry of Diamonds. You know what I'm talking about, the Sitar-esque tone. Btw you might enjoy Civil Twilight's debut album. Also a good rock band with a mature writing style and really good musicianship. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Wa7dFR09vU, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxbQq4deepA
    August 14 01:19 AM
  • OmairSh Yeah it has quite a bit of character that has been severely lacking from the rock I've been listening to otherwise. I want to impregnate Still Here's chorus, it's so good.
    August 13 08:21 PM
  • OmairSh I'm enjoying Ghosts, not what I expected from a hard rock album. Has some pretty cool and refreshing bits
    August 13 01:57 PM
  • OmairSh Voodoo doll, voodoo child's doll I presume? :-D. Cool stuff dude. I envy you, you can play an instrument and have a band and all that sh*t.
    August 4 02:42 AM
  • manosg hahaha, good point man. After working for some time at the marketing department of a large multinational, I realised that my ass wasn't made for that environment. So, I resigned (first one ever in that company!) and started my own venture. My wife and I provide free education to people who wish to invest in foreign exchange via the internet. It's pretty interesting and it's much better to be doing something for yourself rather than bigwigs.
    August 3 07:58 AM
  • manosg Nah, it was a mandatory one-year thing all Greeks have to do (unless you're rich or famous, haha). Part of it was in Cyprus and the other was in Greece. Do you guys in India have to go through mandatory army service?
    August 2 07:42 PM
  • manosg Cool dude, you definitely have a lot of stuff going on. Hope you do well in all of your ventures! Cyprus is a nice little country. I actually lived there for six months at some point as I served in the army close to the capital. For the last 5 years I've been living 40 km away from Athens, the capital of Greece. It's a suburban area and I'm less than 1 km for the sea which is quite awesome.
    August 2 06:38 PM
  • manosg Basically, I haven't seen you much on sput lately so I was wondering where you are, haha. Hope everything's ok dude. How's New Delhi? It has double the population of Greece!
    August 2 07:26 AM
  • manosg Dude, where you at?
    August 1 05:38 PM
  • OmairSh Dude that was terrific! You've got a great rhythm section. You're singing and playing the lead guitar right?
    August 1 11:21 AM
  • OmairSh OOoooooooohhhh living together, big step in the relationship. That's really cool dude. Do you have videos of the show? Haha I wouldn't be surprised if people hadn't heard Lateralus before. How is the underground rock scene there? Was it just you guys performing or a number of bands?
    July 20 08:53 PM
  • OmairSh And congrats on the feature! I never review stuff that's recently released. Should try it though. And that cover art is seriously sexxy
    July 17 07:26 PM
  • OmairSh Dude..like...you're going to be like... famous and sh*t. And then you'll forget about all your friends and family because of your new bentley driving buds, I envy you :-D. I finish in December, so not too long left. Man I would love to play a gig, must be such a great experience. Of course I would also love having enough patience to learn an instrument first, but that's a whole other can of wurms. Let me know when you make an EP, I'll bash it :-D.
    July 17 07:25 PM
  • OmairSh How's your band doing? You guys playing any shows or focusing on jamming and composing music? Oh cool, what you planning to study? With me, the usual. Have studying that needs to be done, but procrastinate to the max and then get overworked on the last day.
    July 17 02:04 PM
  • OmairSh Yo yo yo, what up homeboy?
    July 17 04:08 AM
  • AtomicWaste Thanks man - just finished my meds for it today, so I should be on the mend. Listening to this now, but your soundoff kind of echoes my initial sentiments haha. I like it enough that I may review, though.
    July 14 02:16 PM
  • AtomicWaste I'm recovering from strep and will have to dig myself out at work when I go back in on Monday, but I'll try and give it a listen!
    July 13 06:58 PM
  • mandan Inventive yes, but I don't think we see eye to eye on the creativity part. Obv we're not going to agree here. What's your opinion of The Who?
    June 7 06:08 AM
  • mandan I actually like both bands, and by the looks of it am one of the very few who do. But I prefer the grit and bluesyness of the Stones to the happy-go-lucky style of the Beatles.
    June 7 05:44 AM
  • mandan Dang dude, I actually disagree. Oh well, to each their own.
    June 7 05:40 AM
  • mandan What's your opinion of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones?
    June 7 12:08 AM
  • mandan Out of AiC and Nirvana, which do you perceive is more popular on the site, and why?
    May 19 08:30 AM
  • TheSonomaDude Sahara's Texarkana is up on youtube. Ya know, the album made by kids with a 5-year-old on vocals? I dare you to sit through all of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7xQG32WEQM
    May 18 02:49 AM
  • OmairSh Dude the songs very cool. Is that you singing? Are you playing the distorted guitar? I would suggest maybe extend the bridge section at 2:37 and make it moody. That's just my opinion since the solo is good and I'm just settling into the mood and then the riff pops up again. But other than that its very cool
    May 15 04:10 PM
  • mandan I guess my main reason for liking PJ and SG the most has to do with atmosphere and stuff. I guess those 2 bands pump me more in those terms. AiC still rules though, and I like all the LP's I've heard to some extent along with SAP and JoF. Haven't heard TDPDH yet tho.
    May 15 05:01 AM
  • mandan Yeah, I understand that. I guess that the reason why SG fans tend to have AiC as their 2nd fave Big 4 band and vice-versa. Perhaps part of the reason why PJ is least popular on the site is because they're kind of the odd one out, being neither metallic like AiC or SG, nor punkish like Nirvana.
    May 15 04:58 AM
  • mandan We seem to have similar views on the Grunge Big 4, the one difference is that PJ is my fave, followed by SG and AiC, while AiC is your fave, followed by SG. If I'm not incorrect, PJ is your 3rd fave.
    May 15 04:46 AM
  • mandan I agree on DotU man. The 3rd quarter specifically brings it down for me. Some of SG's best material in that album tho.
    May 14 09:47 PM
  • manosg I think you'll enjoy some Indian influences on a late 60s psych/prog album. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/62104/Quintessence-(Eng)-In-Blissful-Company/
    May 1 06:41 PM
  • OmairSh Bringing the Pak India rivalry are we?
