 | Hawks Just messing with you bro!! Lol although I still wanna cry...
 | Hawks You just broke my heart with that Moving Mountains rating/soundoff. :[[[
 | Hawks So happy you like it!
 | Hawks Jam the new Daniel Knox album that I just reviewed! I think it may be up your alley. Dark cabaret/indie pop with some gothic country vibes.
 | Hawks Looks right up my alley bro, thank you!
 | ToSmokMuzyki lmao now im laughing imagining someone laughing at it
 | Dewinged Hahaha I don't remember where was that but yeah both great in what they do!
 | botb Absolutely! Love that record! Wish they had more like it in their catalog.

 | efp123 https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=194405 .... thats all, and that's it!!! I was a whore here, but yeah. *shrugs*thanks for caring about me

 | efp123 https://evanpartridge.bandcamp.com/track/endless-potentialwow I can't believe you still care about me. ill send a couple more over. thanks for caring about what I do. this was a nice surprise
 | efp123 its been okay. thanks for asking. how are you? I have a couple ideas going at the moment, but far from the finish line hah
 | Demon of the Fall Sput cut off the rest of my comment but yes to Rosetta and FoE too (especially their album "Inle", which is one of the genre's best imo) ... you seem to be on the right path!
 | Demon of the Fall Nice. Post-metal is arguably my fave metal subgenre. I say 'arguably' because it drops off fast but the top tier is unmatched. I do have some obscure(r) recs tho for when the time comes. You can't go wrong starting with the titans of Isis / Neurosis
 | Demon of the Fall hey, yeah I'm back (I think!) ... missed the place. I see you are listening to some really cool stuff there. Are you just getting into post-metal?
 | budgie pretty sweet, thanks. i love mid tempo black metal sections and not too many bands like to experiment with that
 | ArsMoriendi I'll probably be around here *less* but I won't be completely gone until this site dies idk
 | ArsMoriendi It's tenuous. I'm not staff or a contrib, so I don't have direct attachment to what happened even if I ultimately take the side of the staff.
 | Dedes Lol I just saw that you have a lot of fun goth rock vibes in ur chart and IG Beastmilk are technically called deathrock but u get the idea! Climax is like if Elvis Presley and The Misfits got drunk and ****ED and that hazy FAS baby was them.
 | Dedes Yo dawg you ever jam Beastmilk
 | Demon of the Fall Me too. Maybe things will be resolved in time, but it's not looking hopeful. Here's my RYM... https://rateyourmusic.com/~Demon_of_the_Fall2810
 | Demon of the Fall I see Trif has asked also, haha. Are you on RYM? That's more of a music database thing. Discord is so we don't lose contact. A lot of people are leaving this place due to the 'issues'
 | Trifolium That's not a problem at all! Many of us there aren't that active anyway. But it's good to have a fallback option should it ever be needed. I think I sent you a friend request, correct? Don't know how it works that well either hahaha!
 | Trifolium Yeah I think it is serious. Many feel the Mods are doing stuff that's way beyond acceptable. Very sad really, since Sput used to be such a nice place. If you'd want to, you could join the CaCo server which has about 100 Sputters on it, for if the site ever dies for good, or to see many who won't come here anymore.
 | budgie yes brasserie lancelot. my favorite beer of all time is their morgane but that is probably in part because of the good memories
 | budgie no the most west ive been in brittany was morlaix actually!! but the whole north area around morlaix to st brieuc is so nice in june/july!!!!! enjoy the seafood and butter!! my fav place on earth
 | ToSmokMuzyki ah encapulated by the poop jokes a tale as old as time
 | ToSmokMuzyki glad to entertain. yea my early approach was to rate full discogs at once, what inspired this new literary pursuit if i may ask?
 | ToSmokMuzyki then again theyre pretty funny i entertain myself even
 | ToSmokMuzyki ALL of them? im not sure whether to be flattered or creeped out
 | bach https://rateyourmusic.com/~royal_ocean
 | bach lol I forgot I 1'd that s***. its just average hardcore with the racist OG drummer from integrity chubby fresh. really not that bad I just hate that dude
 | bach used to have an actual nuanced grading scale with the rating system here but had my stuff wiped like 4 years ago and got banned for reasons unknown lol. since then I mainly use my rym for my true-to-heart ratings and only have my favorite stuff 5'd here. on my positive s***
 | normaloctagon Is your name a reference to gabbing or the dance music subgenre of gabber or something else entirely?
 | bach No problem friend Glad you like it. Feel free to rec me anything
 | budgie thank christ i love u so much man
 | budgie hey since you are norsk you should jam storm - nordavind. !
 | Demon of the Fall yeah sorry I don?t think Helium is on streaming (didn?t occur to me). Sargasso is very good too though! Thanks for the rec in return, I don?t know them and they sound interesting for sure ??
 | budgie but you are an hour from the alps, an hour and change from the juras, and not unreasonably far from the auvergne volcanoes. i guess norway spoils a mother****er
 | Demon of the Fall of course you may genuinely just think Heroine is dull. I'm talking from a personal perspective of having similar thoughts early on and eventually falling for the second half in a way I hadn't previously envisaged
 | Demon of the Fall Fair enough. It's perhaps interesting how our perception of albums potentially differs depending on the sequencing and how an incredibly strong opening segment can adversely affect the thereafter, simply by proxy rather than any sort of dramatic decline. 23 is a rather good example of that concept
 | Demon of the Fall the 2nd half of 23 is a absolutely a sneaky gem my man, think I?ve eulogised over it in ?real time? in the thread (an evolving album for sure!)
 | ToSmokMuzyki oh its not for me gonna torrent host and make whatever buck i can off it
 | ToSmokMuzyki ~~~you will give me all of your audio media~~~ *snap*
 | Feather Brand New was sputniks darling since ~2006. They broke up in early 2018 after allegations surfaced. TDAG/Daisy/Science Fiction are all 5/5 albums for me.
 | Feather If you were being serious in the MM thread, Brand New is definitely worth checking out. TDAG is probably the first one to listen to.
 | efp123 not to get too real but thanks for your reply to my list. what you said there matters, so I chose to leave it up. thoughtful of you
 | budgie ah dang. well if that ever changes
