  • someone and who would be the most similar artist to them, or the most similar to their individual artistic phases. thank you
    October 27 11:06 AM
  • someone hi, i see you are affiliated with an account DoofusWainwright, so i think it's appropriate to talk to you about it. i'm working on a review retrospective on The Young Gods' discography and you seem to have prominently rated enough of their albums (not to mention reviewed one) that i'd like to find out what exactly you find appealing about their work as a whole, their individual albums and how would you comment on what makes them stand out among similar artists?

  • robertsona Check my last post in the Idles Ultra Mono thread, you might really like [the band I reference]

    August 10 07:41 PM
  • tectactoe i consider 3.0 a win!
    August 10 03:00 PM
  • tectactoe I was originally brooding over my ignored recommendation but the more I ponder it, the more I think you might not like it as much as I originally thought. Oye.
    August 10 01:17 AM
  • SowingSeason 50th week too - what an honor
    August 9 11:25 PM
  • SowingSeason it's dystopian psych-rock, slightly gothic - imagine nick cave meets daughters (not saying it'll be as good as either obv.)...a strong 4 or light 4.5 for me, still making up my mind
    August 9 12:08 PM
  • SowingSeason check jaye jayle's latest, I think you'd dig
    August 9 11:41 AM
  • Divaman I like the new Psychedelic Furs album, too.
    August 9 09:32 AM
  • tectactoe :^(
    August 9 02:30 AM
  • zakalwe I think I?m going to have to be in the mood for the tinker Fontaines either that or I?m getting old given how much I love Ray LaMontagnes latest
    August 4 02:23 PM
  • zakalwe Am going to listen to it today. I?ve heard good things
    August 2 11:09 AM
  • tectactoe Died - "Less Life" / you might dig this. Nice blend of post-hardcore and post-punk.
    July 31 03:06 PM
  • bloodshy Haha, believe it or not, I noticed you did that before you told me. I was checking in on Rufus to see if he got any more votes.
    July 29 03:23 AM
  • bloodshy you didn't like the new doofus album? i had to go back and rerate it a 5. classics head to toe. catchy as a mother****er
    July 12 12:04 AM
  • Pangea Hey doof! you got a song for the July Sotd? the theme is songs about/from your hometown or local region. https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=192338
    July 5 12:27 PM
  • dedex Nope, I only listened to Rattlesnakes, got to give the most recent a listen (I'm a sucker for Smithy jangly stuff tbh). This one is unraveling itself pretty nicely, third listen made it go to a 3.5
    June 29 04:30 PM
  • dedex Hey Doof, hope you doin' well. You ever gave Lloyd Cole and The Commotions - Rattlesnakes a listen? Think you might dig it
    June 29 09:00 AM
  • zakalwe lol. That city scenario is uncanny. I?ve been doing exactly the same.
    June 28 10:12 PM
  • zakalwe Good lad. You been watching the footy? Bloody abysmal innit.
    June 28 09:48 PM
  • zakalwe New Dylan is bloody fantastic.
    June 26 11:17 AM
  • SowingSeason I made an account there a while ago but I've since neglected it. I love their format too.
    June 20 06:28 PM
  • SowingSeason I've been telling people it's my last but if something crazy happens (like Brand New resurfacing with a new album, or mewithoutYou un-retiring) then you can bet I'll be there to write about it. But generally speaking I'm done. Will still blog and mod here, but the reviews were just eating up too much free time. I've found that unless I try to force myself to stop, I won't - and other aspects of my life need the attention more.
    June 20 06:10 PM
  • SowingSeason I glanced at it when I did the weekly releases for that week, but never really bothered. Will be sure to give it a fair chance now.
    June 20 05:53 PM
  • SowingSeason Last review for the site, will still be around as a mod. Let me know what you think!
    June 20 05:46 PM
  • SowingSeason Thomas Azier - Love, Disorderly is my parting rec to you. Might be a little dramatic for your taste, but something about it feels at least mildly Doof-y. Let me know what you think if you decide to check it!
    June 20 12:16 PM
  • NorthernSkylark me neither, i just stumbled upon in and was very pleased that it was actually good
    June 9 07:04 PM
  • NorthernSkylark Yeah, it's something else, that's for sure. Glad I gave it a spin. Did you watch the slumlord music video? Genius / hilarious, that one.
    June 6 06:33 PM
  • SowingSeason I like helping user projects along and it's a good review
    June 5 11:41 AM
  • NorthernSkylark lol zak posted that too, *proof*
    June 3 06:37 PM
  • NorthernSkylark that new baxter dury album is tasty af man!! 2020 resurrection kinda thing.
    June 3 06:36 PM
  • zakalwe That Baxter Dury album is class. Doesn?t half sound like his dad.
    June 3 02:33 PM
  • FR33L0RD Hey Doofdoof, jumping here to tell you that i really liked your last original community list « Your oldest 5 « A good healer for our polarize Sput community. Thanks
    May 30 05:06 AM
  • zakalwe We are too old for this s***e mate
    May 29 08:09 AM
  • zakalwe Sunny disposition singing about underlying feelings of rage wrapped up in uptempo nonsense without soul. Fools gold but yeah I agree at least there wasn?t trumpet.
    May 23 06:30 AM
  • zakalwe Rosenstock an average rating? Christ. lol.
    May 22 08:29 PM
  • zakalwe Its all a bit turgid innit. Some quality guitar work on the new one.
    May 22 07:37 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell ok I might have underestimated Hats big time, not sure what went wrong that first listen
    May 19 08:13 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell hahaha I've seen worse ;] one of them is more likely to get repeat listens than the other if that helps
    May 18 11:00 PM
  • Cygnatti No worries, just glad you dig it. I saw someone mention L'amour in comparison, and immediately thought of you lol. Been meaning to spin that one again anyhow.
    May 17 07:14 AM
  • Cygnatti kinda surprised u dig new PG that much... will u be reviewing it? y/n o_O
    May 17 05:31 AM
  • SowingSeason Meh. I sort of disagree in that I think neither is a risk - both are just beautiful within their own lines. But to each his own.
    May 16 04:19 PM
  • SowingSeason surprised you don't like williamson more - some serious honey harper meets angel olsen vibes
    May 16 11:48 AM
  • Pheromone Yeah Miner is my favourite Grandaddy song so we'd be having different words if that was omitted. No problem, its a cool little diary, I always intend to do the same but recently I find myself forgetting to even rate the albums on Sput so I don't know if I could keep up with writing a comprehensive / worth reading piece for every band I dive into. Maybe come summer
    May 15 07:53 PM
  • Pheromone Finally checked the Grandaddy entrance - I'm a bit surprised at your Sumday picks. No 'The Warming Sun' is criminal, and 'Sumday' / Final Push To The Sun deserve a place too. Though I probably prefer that album a fair bit to you I do pretty much agree with most of what you say.
    May 15 06:48 PM
  • tectactoe btw - check out the new Serpent Column EP. i remember you were one of the few who agreed w/ my high placement of their album on last year's metal list. this EP is a bit more unwieldy and wild (stylistically, anyway), but also a bit more rewarding (?) because of that.
    May 13 04:52 PM
  • Dylan620 I'll see what I can do - if not this week then definitely next week ;)
    May 13 03:21 PM
  • tectactoe Yep, kept thinking this is what MF Doom might sound like if he rapped on muscle relaxers all day.
    May 13 12:24 PM
  • tectactoe 'When's my man going to stop talkin and start rappin' - lmfao
    May 13 11:16 AM
  • Dylan620 I'm running my radio show tonight 2006-2200 UTC if you're interested in tuning in! https://wuml.org
    May 13 03:24 AM
  • zakalwe Always been massively underwhelming to me. Digging the Grave always stood out but is still a bit run of the mill.
    May 9 08:25 PM
  • zakalwe They?re both good mate. Nothing more nothing less.
    May 9 03:31 PM
  • theBoneyKing Hey, I see you're digging the new Blake Mills! I love him - don't think I've ever reccomended him to you before, but definitely check out Heigh Ho too. New one is solid so far, need to jam some more. Check out some of Mills' youtube videos too if you get a chance, he's an insanely good guitarist but you need to see him play to really tell.
    May 8 08:13 PM
  • Pheromone Ello Doof, I look forward to reading it when I find some time later. Is it more a usual focus on bands you've not explored too much?
    May 8 12:15 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell fair s*** my dude
    May 3 09:16 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell ahh, so he's still biting off more than he can chew but no longer using the right language?
    May 1 07:41 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell am listening to/prioritising the new o'brother rn, but that new CSH looks like it'd be tasty to review?
    May 1 07:34 AM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Lol that's usually how it goes for me but ya this month might have been particularly dry
    April 27 07:02 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Decisions, Lovework, No Cliche, That's My Yes, Heat Flash, City Life, Without You, Every Beat (Regrets), Loving You. I also love Screws In My Head but thats from that same Firefly EP.
    April 26 11:26 PM
  • AnimalsAsSummit new stuff out, not sure what youll think of it but if you get time, here b the linkage: https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/fourth-step
    April 26 04:45 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Hey doof. I see you're all around these, can you mingle here? - https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=1112886
    April 24 08:28 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Cheers man, all sorts of antics to come now (also good Grotesque rating, fun album but my goodness is that pacing screwy)
    April 23 01:44 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell damn that's a hot take
    April 20 06:43 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell 2.0 for Sawayama is at least 2x higher than I expected, goodness. am thrilled
    April 20 05:54 PM
  • zakalwe Couldn?t get into Rustin man. EOB is nice but the lyrics are a proper pile of bollocks. Baxter Dury up next.
    April 20 11:39 AM
  • zakalwe Didn?t realise he had a new one out. That?s definitely next up, really enjoyed his one from last year.
    April 19 01:00 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell goodness, the one person sharing it on slsk has blocked me. alas.
    April 19 12:59 PM
  • zakalwe Always thought his backing vox were top notch. I?ll stick it on the back burner.
    April 19 12:49 PM
  • zakalwe That EOB album a bit of a turd is it? Heard a snippet of Brasil which I think is lovely but I might steer clear.
    April 19 12:43 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell mmm maybe they provoked you into liking them - you met your match!
    April 19 12:37 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell hahaha okay this sounds v checkable
    April 19 12:36 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell is that covid album from that band who made a seemingly ok lulu album actually good?
    April 19 12:28 PM
  • GhandhiLion huh
    April 18 05:16 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell there are always too many rules alas alas - will do!
    April 18 01:05 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell shall i be a nice boi and distribute those surplus 20 pts for kaputt between your #3 and #4?
    April 18 10:24 AM
  • Divaman Don't forget to vote in the folk tourney today.
    April 16 05:03 PM
  • zakalwe Sat in the bear suit, immobile on Christ knows what psychedelics having been involved in a random sexual encounter in which a randy old bird gets on board. Magalouf 1999.
    April 13 06:33 PM
  • zakalwe lol. I can honestly say that every person who has seen that tiger thing and told me about it (and that?s at least 8) have all said exactly the same. Americans, mental as ****.
    April 10 10:30 PM
  • zakalwe I can?t bring myself to watch it although it?s all I?m hearing about lately. I refuse to watch s***e and now the footy is off I hardly watch tele at all. The odd film but that?s it. You seen midsommar? Loved it.
    April 10 10:05 PM
  • zakalwe They?re still doing the trick for me at the minute mate. Not a lot on offer out there at the min. Hope you and family are well son.
    April 10 06:57 PM
  • BenThatsMyJamin Poor old Doof. If you need some above par sad white girl music (though I imagine that's not entirely your thing haha) listen to the new Phoebe Bridgers single instead
    April 10 05:32 PM
  • BenThatsMyJamin I see, I had a feeling it would be meh but think I'll give it a go anyway to keep the missus happy
    April 10 05:11 PM
  • BenThatsMyJamin MOR?
    April 10 05:05 PM
  • BenThatsMyJamin Not a fan of Laura Marling's latest?
    April 10 03:46 PM
  • tyman128 Absolutely, never seen the entire world impacted by something so immensely (granted I'm only 18 so there hasn't been much to experience yet haha)... but I doubt that any of us will see anything this extreme and impactful in our lifetimes again... it's honestly a surreal thing when you think about it
    April 8 10:30 AM
  • tyman128 Yeah, education is pretty bad right now, for both students and teachers for sure. And yea, I absolutely love the food here, been living here for 4 years and it's still the highlight of living here haha. Gonna suck going back to Texas for college and missing out on this food... man, now it's settling in that I'm gonna have to leave this place behind in a few months wow
    April 8 10:21 AM
  • tyman128 Thanks man, I'll definitely check those out! Glad to hear you're doing well with all this crap going on. Personally, I'm struggling haha. I'm a senior in high school, so you know, kinda messing up an already messed up year because of some stuff that was happening in the country earlier this year before coronavirus (I live in Lebanon). Hope you and your family continue to stay well, and just embrace music at home I guess
    April 8 10:08 AM
  • tyman128 hey Doof! how are you doing? I was just wondering if you could hook me up with a good folky, ambient kinda rec if you have anything off the top of your head. I've been meaning to branch into that kind of stuff and get out of the heavily metal sphere of influence I'm usually in. I want to really utilize this "wonderful" time of quarantine to jam some new stuff
    April 8 09:53 AM
  • DrGonzo1937 doof, fancy doing the blurb for honey harper?
    April 6 10:40 AM
  • SandwichBubble I also dig holes and Ditches in my free time.
    April 6 09:32 AM
  • SowingSeason I'll definitely check it out
    April 3 06:47 PM
  • Relinquished your sense of humour should be under arrest agreed
    April 3 04:18 PM
  • MarsKid I understand completely, yeah. I think it's more restrained moments (namely "Fair") reveal how sincere it is at its heart. But hey, thanks for listening, your opinion is appreciated.
    April 2 02:08 PM
  • MarsKid I was personally blown away, but I could use some revisits myself, make sure I'm not over the skis like I can be on occasion lol
    April 1 04:13 PM
  • MarsKid Considering you are far more knowledgeable in the realm of folk than I'll ever be, I'm curious what you may think of this: https://theamazingdevil.bandcamp.com/album/the-horror-and-the-wild Worth a check if you've got time I think. Cheers
    March 31 05:58 PM
  • zakalwe Good lad. As for the virus it?s going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Nice to see some civility at the minute but it hasn?t even been a week yet. Weeks of this, civil unrest, more death. ****ing nightmare innit.
    March 28 10:03 PM
  • zakalwe Shaft theme music, absolute classic. Nice brass rating.
    March 28 06:37 PM
  • Gyromania Yeah going out is a huge mistake, especially for me since I have bad asthma and high blood pressure. Been trying not to worry but that's extremely hard for me to do, I'm kind of panic prone. I live in Windsor Ontario - we just got our first few cases of it yesterday. Live with 3 other people but luckily they all left their jobs and we're keeping indoors. Hope you and your girl stay safe
    March 22 12:20 AM
  • Gyromania Jusr wanted to reach out and say I hope you're doing well and keeping safe
    March 21 05:20 AM
  • parksungjoon duuude i know what you mean. well im one of the few blokes consistently repping this kinda s*** on this site. all my big lists have electronic love, and especiially dnb love

    March 11 09:28 AM
  • robertsona Nice nice. tbf they?re one of the like five bands I?ve ever booked so I?m biased but it?s a good ass time
    March 9 10:25 PM
  • SowingSeason Im totally reviewing it at the moment and I hope you don't mind but I'm using the question you posed to me initially as the summary
    March 9 07:13 PM
  • robertsona doof, did you say you were in london or just in the UK in general? or neither lol. anyways palberta's first ever show outside the US is in london may 12 tuesday 7:30pm at the venue "new river studios" 199 eade road n41 you're really gonna want to, uh, not miss this. trust me I am doing you a service (assuming you are in london). tell them alex robertson says wasup. bye
    March 9 07:02 PM
  • Slex Starmaker is threatening for my first 5 of the year, AOTY for me atm
    March 9 06:56 PM
  • SowingSeason ok this is growing on me.
    March 9 05:06 PM
  • SowingSeason Man though, 'Something Relative' is gorgeous.
    March 9 12:13 PM
  • SowingSeason I wish there was more variation in the effect other than wavy, spacy synths. I think that's why so many of the songs bleed together for me. But yes, I listened like 1.33 times which is low even by my quick standards, so I'll let you know of 2nd/3rd listens improve my outlook. Also, I do enjoy it: a 3.5 is definitely the equivalent of a 2019 sowing 4-4.1/2/3. I'm vowing to abide by stricter scales and 0.5 increments.
    March 9 11:26 AM
  • SowingSeason Hmm I loved what I heard a few weeks back when I skimmed the singles, but ultimately decided not to pursue it, plus the artwork pisses me off. But there was enough there to earn my interest, which combined with the rec, makes it seem worth trying for real.
    March 8 07:00 PM
  • Dylan620 Had no idea Paddy was involved - and just in time for St. Paddy's Day too ;D listening now, enjoying it!

  • Dylan620 Oof! Can't compare to Penate nor Nash, neither of whom I've heard. I'm glad you gave it a shot though - it's been a big grower for me (my rating on first listen probably would've been around the 2.5-3 range) so I do hope you give it at least a couple more chances. Did any tunes stick out on first listen?
    February 14 01:05 PM
  • Dylan620 Scott Lavene 'Broke'
    February 8 03:24 AM
  • Dylan620 I've got a 2019 rec for you, Boney, and Zak - check out Scott Lavene'. Great knack for storytelling, loads of charm and wit, consistently engaging both musically and vocally. British as hell.
    February 8 03:05 AM
  • AnimalsAsSummit 4.5 for new destroyer? will have to check asap.
    February 4 11:31 PM
  • Gyromania About to listen. You've been on the ball lately! I'm sure it'll be good. Still haven't heard the last one
    January 31 04:16 PM
  • Gyromania Is new Destroyer REALLY that good tho?
    January 31 02:30 PM
  • zakalwe Saw 1917. Incredible stuff absolutely brilliant film.

  • bgillesp https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=190447Would appreciate if ya checked my decade list pt 1.
    January 17 03:52 AM
  • zakalwe Haven?t really been listening to any new stuff. Still just rinsing and repeating the favourites. Since last summer or thereabouts Opeth probably take up about 60% of my listening time I just can?t shake them off. lol absolute madness.
    January 16 09:55 AM
  • zakalwe I highly recommend They Shall Not Grow Old. Remastered and colour archive footage documentary by Peter Jackson with lip readers deciphering what is said and voice actors filling in the parts along with real accounts from the soldiers. Emotional stuff.
    January 15 10:10 AM
  • zakalwe Morning mate. I was looking to go and see it last Sunday but opted to stay in and watch the Irishman instead which was doddery. I?m expecting good things.
    January 15 04:19 AM
  • AnimalsAsSummit thanks! that's definitely what i listen to a lot these days, this was my latest love letter to that era and that amazing period for music... if you end up checking out any of my other stuff, its almost all (some form of) electronic informed by that time period,. The Train Beyond Home was like my one-off new wave attempt ;)
    January 6 02:50 PM
  • theBoneyKing Thanks thanks. I have no particular hopes for this year. Not yet on Crooked Rain but soon - gave the Watery, Domestic EP some spins though. Hoping Ill like Crooked Rain or Wowee Zowee better than Slanted. I can tell Pavement were obviously influential but I think they may end up being like Pixies for me where there are some obvious classic tunes but I don?t really connect with the albums, just dont particularly resonate with the songwriting style.
    January 5 04:40 PM
  • AnimalsAsSummit New album out - https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/find-me-tomorrow
    January 1 08:35 PM
  • zakalwe Happy New Year mate. All the best for the next decade. Spurs are s***e, absolute shambles. Christ knows what?s going on!!!!
    January 1 08:19 PM
  • GhandhiLion A lot of the past criticisms seem more lyrical than musical. Obviously, as a s/songwriter this would turn a lot of people off.
    December 30 05:28 PM
  • GhandhiLion ok I dug deeper and found some.
    December 30 05:18 PM
  • GhandhiLion haha I was going to reference DylanI took a look at comments here. I can't find much on people being confused by it. https://youtu.be/ZTIJvNmsQgo

  • DDDeftoneDDD Yes...the opener is catchy af...then its like its just the vibe doing its part. Also the tracks are weirdly linked, in a good way. Anyway giving a few more listens - LMAO - http://share.pho.to/B4OZq

  • zakalwe Northerners well and truly have had enough of the s***e. Fair play to them. I still don?t think Brexit will happen but if it does despite the trouble it?ll bring, the uncertainty and the economic hit I can?t help but feel reinvigorated by it all.....until we are ****ed over.
    December 13 06:52 PM
  • zakalwe Exactly mate, dangerous man. I think there will be a hung parliament though which will be a disaster as well. Country is a shambles.
    December 12 08:37 PM
  • zakalwe I went to the polling station this afternoon and the blue rinse brigade were out in force, it had a subliminal effect and I went Tory.
    December 12 08:29 PM
  • zakalwe Vote cast? Lib Dem?
    December 12 05:22 PM
  • TVC15 Man, this new Beck album is jawdroppingly bad
    December 5 05:01 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Does this mean I'll love her more if I drop to a 1 too?
    December 5 03:46 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Leave Hannah Diamond alone you monster

    November 28 11:13 PM
  • AnimalsAsSummit glad you're digging that current value album! i still think beyond digits is my #1 fave by him but by a small margin
    November 27 03:36 PM
  • zakalwe Bloke looks a complete arse. I?ll give it a go.
    November 26 10:34 AM
  • SandwichBubble Just letting you know that the old Beck Hyperspace soundoffs got d_leted, so if you wanted to repost yours, you should do so.
    November 24 03:52 PM
  • theBoneyKing When new Beck is worse than new Coldplay you know something has really gone awry. This is a pretty awful week and unfortunately its pretty much the last one of the year (and decade) with anything I feel compelled to check out. Oof.

    November 19 08:57 PM
  • tectactoe I guess Doof doesn't enjoy transcendental black metal ???????
    November 19 04:25 PM
  • zakalwe New Tindersticks is quality innit
    November 19 11:44 AM
  • Dylan620 I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I can't compare it to The Waiting Room because I haven't heard that one - nor anything else after Curtains except the new one! I think the opener and "The Old Mans Gait" are my early favorites but it's a lovely record the whole way through.
    November 18 02:16 AM
  • Dylan620 Thoughts on the new Tindersticks album?
    November 17 02:36 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Enjoy :] nice Sonic Nurse rating btw, that album has a lot of goodness
    November 15 09:53 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell New Hakushi Hasegawa is exciting wayward electro jazz pop good times chaos yes yes
    November 15 04:12 AM
  • zakalwe Spot on but at least it offers an alternative to the vast majority of wanker material out there at the min. Like a sad dad acting the buffoon in front of the ?cool? kids. Loveable nonsense showing up the real nonsense.
    November 12 03:59 PM
  • zakalwe Well let?s face it it is but in a good way like Matt Berrys tv theme thingamabob last year
    November 12 03:50 PM
  • zakalwe The team just can?t be arsed can it. We will turn a corner but it?s not good at the min and genuine relegation form. Can?t win away, team out of sorts, off the field issues, son being an absolute woman.
    November 3 06:51 PM
  • tectactoe Unusually good year or just getting soft in your old age? ;o)
    November 1 11:04 PM
  • tectactoe Downgrade on the Vukari eh? *cries*

  • TheSpaceMan context is overrated
    November 1 07:47 PM
  • TheSpaceMan do you prefer that method?

  • Gyromania I love how you come in and point out the blatantly obvious and nobody verbally attacks you like they do me
    October 29 02:56 PM
  • Gyromania Maybe us old timers are just insanely out of touch lmao. Because yeah, to me this is the most petty, idiotic s***
    October 29 02:55 PM
  • Gyromania It's crazy how stupid the average user is on this site eh

    October 27 09:11 PM
  • zakalwe Always given the game a bit of a wide birth unless it was the lions tour or World Cup but like cricket they both are competitive games played by sportsmen not wankers. Massively changed my opinion on it, especially the cricket over the summer. The World Cup and Stokes ashes innings are two of the greatest things I?ve ever seen in sport. As for the rugby I think the South Africans will be harder to breakdown than the all blacks were but yeah I think we can do it.
    October 27 09:11 PM
  • zakalwe Have you been watching the rugby?
    October 27 09:00 PM
  • zakalwe Liverpool dominated, we only turned up in the last ten minutes. Whole of Football bin.
    October 27 08:46 PM
  • zakalwe s***e

  • AmericanFlagAsh If you like Parachute there's no way you dislike the rest that much
    October 24 01:47 PM
  • AmericanFlagAsh Miss Caroline deserves better!
    October 23 08:31 PM
  • AmericanFlagAsh And by questionable I mean that 100% personally, you can rate what you want whatever you want
    October 23 07:08 PM
  • AmericanFlagAsh Lmao no I've always liked you, I just find your ratings questionable
    October 23 07:06 PM
  • Frippertronics new album was just announced, song is out. It screams "Kaputt: Bigger, Faster, Stronger, Yachtier"
    October 22 08:36 AM
  • Frippertronics Bejar is seriously about top Rubies and Kaputt, I can feel it
    October 22 08:11 AM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts yeah smif-n-wessun one is very solid and consistent as well although a little less innovative
    October 18 09:25 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts especially coming from one of these original crews making a comeback album - we've been overloaded by those lately and imo the vast majority are complete trash. this, slum village, and smif-n-wessun are the only crews to pull it off
    October 18 06:30 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts discounting the two amazing singles (as i've listened to them like 1000 times which makes it difficult to compare to the fresh new songs) my favourites off first couple listens are Ahaaa, Ease Back, Glory, General Feva, Look At Them, and At Night. Its pretty incredible how many different OG styles that album encompasses all while keeping it tightly knit within that classic boom bap flow. its diverse without losing its identity or having huge gaps in quality which is a rarity in hip hop
    October 18 06:29 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts on the whole tho i could not be happier with the album. literally the only track i don't like is Pay Back
    October 18 06:00 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts i dont think its my fav on the album personally but at the same time its kind of mind-blowing in two senses... its one of the like only successful old school east/west coast hybrids with that g-funk synth and it also is one of the only hip hop songs of the last like 20 years to have gunshots not be a cringey gimmick
    October 18 05:59 PM
  • zakalwe Good lad
    October 16 10:12 AM
  • zakalwe Haven?t heard that one yet. The last few weeks have thrown up some good albums. Nick Cave Bent Knee Wilco Opeth and don?t laugh but the absolute cheese fest that is Flying Colors. Swings between middle of the road Muse bottom tier Boxer Rebellion and top drawer Anathema. Has one of the worst songs you?ve ever heard in Love Letter but the album is a real charmer.
    October 15 06:36 PM
  • zakalwe Dunno if you?ve heard it but I highly recommend Bent Knees new album You Know What They Mean. Art rock done by wankers no less but by Christ does it hit the spot.
    October 15 05:22 PM
  • Drifter Seriously? Wow. That's great to hear. Definitely interested in hearing more of him.
