  • BlushfulHippocrene No worried, just emailed. Sorry about the mess.
    January 21 07:43 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene As long as you download and open with word, this should work. (No problem if not; it's no trouble to copy-paste the comments too, sorry bout the weird formats, haha)
    January 21 06:50 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene No problem!!! Just sent in word doc format -- let me know if the comments still aren't showing up, so weird! It's possible my version and your version of docs are different for some reason.
    January 21 06:49 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene Oh no, are the comments on the right side not showing up? If you're viewing on phone sometimes they appear right at the bottom which is annoying. Let me know if they definitely aren't popping up for whatever reason and I'll just copy-past em into email or something [:
    January 21 06:19 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene Returned the email, friend. :3
    January 21 05:08 AM
  • teamster Really good one man band stuff:
    January 20 10:05 AM
  • neekafat My La Luz write up is done!
    January 20 03:17 AM
  • TwigTW haha, don't mind me Dewi, early Alzheimer's, I'm sure... That little People album keeps growing on me. There's more going on than I first thought. But the big surprise from last weeks list is Red Rum Cafe. It's not a classic, but it's a great album for Friday night with friends and beers... Nice Spidergawd rating, by the way :)
    January 18 04:54 AM
  • TwigTW Sorry Dewi, I didn't notice that. Here is some nice Nashville-via-Brooklyn indie pop/rock: Frances Cone - Late Riser. I don't see it in the staff list, but you better double check.
    January 17 04:12 AM
  • neekafat I feel that hahaha I need to work out a schedule for jamming these next year
    January 17 12:11 AM
  • neekafat I'm so damn slow at cramming
    January 16 09:44 PM
  • neekafat Yeah La Luz is pretty damn great
    January 16 09:26 PM
  • tyman128 yea, i?ll probably be dropping it to a 4 honestly, not as great as i first heard haha
    January 15 08:27 AM

    January 15 02:09 AM
  • SherlockChris9021 And congrats to you have multiple blurbs making it to the list too. Would you mind give your opinion on my blurb as well? Mine is Beach House?s 7.
    January 15 01:23 AM
  • SherlockChris9021 Hey I?ve just seen the Users? Top Ten albums list, and as far as I concern, it?s pretty messed up, especially the fight about trans issue (I suppose bc of the album at no. 10). I wonder how do you think about it?
    January 15 01:20 AM
  • budgie yep the sees the light album? i've listened to it like 8 times between today and yesterday. fell in love with it
    January 14 08:59 PM
  • budgie dude that would be crazy. you read that anywhere? i'm just suspecting they have an LP almost done, with all these amazing singles they've been putting out over the past year
    January 14 08:15 PM
  • budgie yep on Beat the Heart now. the vocal style and 80s vibe makes me feel like they're a sister band to Too Young To Go Steady (remember them?). both from the same city, too
    January 14 08:03 PM
  • budgie well i had completely forgotten about it so, good thing you sent it again
    January 14 07:53 PM
  • budgie oh yeah, you had me listen to this some days ago, i said "love it. thx" lol. good 80s vibe
    January 14 07:38 PM

  • budgie totally missed this men i trust track end of november. bet their LP is going to be AOTY?
    January 11 03:57 PM
  • FullOfSounds I missed you too!!! Life's been weird lately admittedly, just in a weird stage where it's hitting me that im graduating soon. I've actually done a complete shift in ambitions for my future. I'm goin' to college to study political science and psychology of criminal justice now. How've you been?
    January 11 12:13 PM
  • Atari only one way to find out!
    January 11 04:10 AM
  • tyman128 any impressions on that Mark Deutrom record?
    January 11 04:08 AM
  • FullOfSounds is it??? is that dewi???? :0
    January 10 09:04 PM
  • TwigTW They have a very consistent sound. If you like one, you'll probably like them all. II is my favorite tho.
    January 9 09:19 PM
  • TwigTW Yes! The Motorpsycho connection is how I first found them.
    January 9 08:08 PM
  • TwigTW Did someone say Spidergawd single? Here ya go: ''Ritual Supernatural'' - I don't know who does their covers, but I really like them too. Thanks for the Bruno Sanfilippo. I'll check it out.
    January 9 07:57 PM
  • tyman128 ah okay, idk why, it just stuck with me. but I?ve been getting into that slower, progressive style with a lot of ambiance and atmosphere lately, so
    January 9 03:02 AM
  • tyman128 and before you dare start writing a review on Mark Deutrom f you happen to, I wanna take it first haha
    January 9 02:52 AM
  • tyman128 thanks man, I love it here
    January 9 02:22 AM
  • tyman128 yea, it?s a pretty sad situation to see in person, but the news definitely makes it seem a lot worse than it is by saying all of the country is doomed and whatnot haha
    January 9 02:04 AM
  • tyman128 enjoy it man.and my situation is a bit different. I?m American, I live in Lebanon, I go to a school that teaches British system, but I?m leaving to go to America in like a year and a half so
    January 9 01:54 AM
  • budgie love it. thx
    January 9 01:18 AM
  • SowingSeason Nope I'm starting on 1/18
    January 8 09:37 PM
  • TwigTW Yeah, they're like Earthless or Causa Sui, psychedelic instrumental jams. I love that kind of thing.
    January 8 08:23 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Ola Amigo. check the band Pulling Teeth please. Really different thrash crossover.
    January 8 01:29 PM
  • tyman128 haha, I?m just glad to finally have exams out of the way now. Not the greatest set of exams I?ve had, but it?s finished. Plus, this is a British system and Im going to uni in America so this doesn?t contribute to much haha
    January 8 07:19 AM
  • tyman128 heh, wish I was in uni, I?m a junior in high school haha
    January 7 11:19 PM
  • tyman128 i will admit, it is all over the place, but that?s what makes it great to me. I?m also pretty good I guess, going and taking two exams in like three hours, swamped with school, but music is pulling me out so, we?re all good haha. I?ll be getting a five day weekend starting tomorrow so that?ll be nice and much needed
    January 7 10:35 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Yeah, I guess I hadn't chatted much to anyone individually for a while; good to be back. And cheers, got a lot more to come ;]
    January 7 08:26 PM
  • tyman128 hey man, you definitely got to check out that Mark Deutrom album. It?s a killer record.anyway, how?ve you been doing?
    January 7 10:39 AM
  • 50iL Yeah, fair enough. Many musicians are better practically than theoretically. Hell, look at Gene Hoglan! Best metal drummer out there and doesn't know how to read music. His musicality is really truly impressive.
    January 7 10:20 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell johnnydeking29! I signed up when I was about 15 and didn't see the flaw in sharing a username between sites and my main email back then...
    January 7 03:41 AM
  • budgie i didn't love Year of Meteors but July Flame was pretty sweet, going to check out the rest of her discog at some point
    January 6 08:05 PM
  • budgie you're going to looooooooooooooove it!
    January 6 07:26 PM
  • 50iL Haha, it's never too late to learn my man ;)

  • budgie
    January 6 05:19 PM
  • BlushfulHippocrene Oh man, that is EXCELLENT! One very, very minor thing, so I'll drop it here: "backing band" makes more sense to me. :3
    January 6 08:56 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene Just emailed back, my friend, very good work.
    January 6 08:01 AM
  • 50iL Happy New Year to you as well! Yeah, after the gigs I've been resting up a bit, the last one was 70 pages too heavy haha. As of now, I'm looking for a part-time music teaching job, but we'll see how it goes. Generally, all is great except for my great grandmother's recent death. It is what it is, and I've been very open about death for a very long time, so it doesn't hurt as much.
    January 5 07:41 PM
  • 50iL Hey Dewi. Just saw you were online and I reckoned I'd say hi. I saw you were dealing with stuff, and I sincerely wish it'll get better soon. I don't know if I can help somehow but feel free to ask. Appreciate ya bud.
    January 5 07:34 PM
  • budgie!
    January 4 06:57 PM
  • Jom Hi there. Thanks for your interest with the Global list! While your entries were either already claimed or didn't make the top 50/10, some of the contribs have identified at least one album that's currently unclaimed but would be in your wheelhouse. Would you be interested? If so, would you be cool with e-mailing me (or vice versa) to avoid spoilers? Cheers!
    January 4 12:48 PM
  • Hawks Yeah it?s def rooted in funeral doom and that?s the main sound but it?s very experimental. There?s some bm, gothic and avant-garde all mixed in too. I love it lol.
    January 2 10:39 PM
  • Hawks One of the most unique funeral doom albums I?ve ever heard. Although calling it just funeral doom would be innaccurate. Yep, def reviewing this asap. People gotta know lol.
    January 2 10:21 PM
  • Hawks Ok yeah this Quercus album is amazing wow.
    January 2 10:01 PM
  • Hawks **** yessssss jamming that now. m/
    January 2 09:32 PM
  • TwigTW Yeah, the first two weeks of 2019 look dead to me, Dewi. I don't see anything until the 18th. Most of the lists I use to find new albums have stopped publishing for the holidays. If I see anything I'll send it your way, but I usually spend January pouring over the year-end jazz lists... Happy New Year!
    December 31 05:24 AM
  • TwigTW That Liela Moss sounds better every time I listen.
    December 27 03:38 PM
  • IcelandRevel But the album is okay. Even after multiple listens throughout this year, it never really stuck with me. A lot of great ideas show up, and I especially like Out of Time. That's the one song that always comes to mind when thinking about the record. But as a whole, it's just not for me. I prefer more grit in my rock music, and the experimental sound design that usually goes along with the 'Yamantaka' name isn't as pronounced as I'd hoped.
    December 26 03:18 AM
  • IcelandRevel It's cool that you remembered that I signed up for it. I remembered too, but I have had a terrible time this year when it comes to motivation and consistency. I took on too many tasks, and this year, a lot of things have been weighing me down. I'm working on fixing that.
    December 26 03:17 AM
  • BerryGarlicia big oof
    December 23 01:05 AM
  • BerryGarlicia Ay bucko, might wanna sort out your rating for Spectre of Ruin and the review rating.
    December 22 05:27 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD my list is done brotha...I'm exhausted!!!
    December 20 10:58 AM
  • budgie the full album is a total joy to jam, currently my top dig
    December 20 01:22 AM
  • budgie
    December 20 01:00 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD yeah man...I mean Famtastic Planet is kind of fantastic...but this one hit me like new music yk? Is really hard in the grunge genre to do that imo
    December 19 04:43 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD mii amigo! Failure's album is so nice...Wasn't expecting tbh
    December 17 10:03 AM
  • budgie yeep i've listened to that La Luz album maybe 5 times, it's reaaaaaally goodi put up my top 10 list if you wanna check it, #1 is a bit of a surprise

  • budgie oooooooooooh man loving hillary woods!
    December 15 08:20 PM
  • budgie
    December 15 07:03 PM
  • budgie you rated gia margaret back in july at a 3.5. i haven't heard hillary wood, will check today
    December 15 12:46 PM
  • budgie oh my god how did you never send me gia margaret?
    December 15 03:42 AM
  • DoofDoof It's a very doof thing yeah, that album coming out was the big surprise of 2018
    December 14 03:59 AM
  • Sniff Oh yeah. They've been one of my favorites since since Wings of Lead
    December 14 03:34 AM
  • budgie
    December 13 08:30 PM
  • DoofDoof I think you can listen to three tunes from the Exit North on Bandcamp. Also, I think someone here put it/fount it on Soulseek - possibly Sniff
    December 13 04:16 AM
  • manosg Hey Dewi, all is well buddy, just the past few months have been hectic as hell mostly because of increased work. But no problem bro and I really wish I could review the album because, indeed, it's quite impressive for a sput user project and in addition the user seems like a cool dude.
    December 13 03:12 AM
  • ScuroFantasma It sounds very professional and slick for sure. Not to keep sending this dude down the line, but Necrotica might be down for it.
    December 12 10:41 PM
  • ScuroFantasma Hey Dewi (: I appreciate you sending it my way. I gave the first few tracks a jam and I've gotta be honest, I don't really go in for this kind of stuff. DragonForce are about as close as I get and this is pushing that further haha. I reckon this might be up manosg's alley though, he seems to dig the power stuff. If I were to review it, it'd be at about a 3, which is probably more of a disservice since I can tell this is actually of good quality, it's just not my bag.
    December 12 09:25 PM
  • neekafat Hey bud! Could you add a rec for the SOTD list?
    December 12 03:46 AM
  • DoofDoof my inkling is you might prefer 13 and 14 from my list to the top 10'ers (other than the Exit North which you hopefully like a bit)
    December 12 03:40 AM
  • Hawks Uada review is up. :]
    December 11 07:47 AM
  • Scheumke Thanks man. I'll go check and see how to get in contact with them! Glad you enjoy it anyway!
    December 11 03:33 AM
  • Sniff Yes. Riffs ahrd. Nicest dude as well.
    December 11 03:23 AM
  • Scheumke Yup. I'm the rhythm guitarist :) Thanks man! Glad you like it!
    December 11 02:57 AM
  • budgie
    December 10 06:29 PM
  • ZombieToyDuck this tribulation album is killer dude!
    December 10 03:55 PM
  • Scheumke Spotify is the easiest way for this I guess. If you'd prefer a different way let me know. Thanks in advance man, really appreciate it!
    December 10 10:24 AM
  • Scheumke Hey man! Since I have no idea how to PM on sput, I'd guess I do it like this. My own band released it's debut album this year, and since december is slow af, I was wondering if you'd like to review it?
    December 10 05:01 AM
  • bgillesp Thanks! I've lost power in a snowstorm but I'll get it up soon.
    December 9 09:24 AM
  • budgie
    December 8 11:06 PM
  • bgillesp Also, drop us a rec in the last SOTD for the year. We're dying slowly

    December 6 04:48 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Hi amigo. Where can I get a Santa's hat? lol Chino would look cool
    December 6 04:37 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD lolol when you can amigo...its a worthy listen more than regular doom i'd say, there's somethin being made with "style" there. Obliteration ****in rules m/ and that Horrendous yeah m/ are the 2 main OSDM releases from this year.
    December 5 04:19 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Hi Dew. check the new Un, even if you're not into that kind of doom. Will meet my list no doubt
    December 4 07:22 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene it, no question; but just listening to it w/o much thought, it's easy to get swept up with. So I don't think you're necessarily missing out on anything at all. Essentially, the album is what it is, and nothing more IMO, and whether you get something out of what "it is" -- and not what it isn't -- is totally preferential. If that makes sense. : PP
    December 3 10:07 PM
  • BlushfulHippocrene I tried writing something for it but scrapped it -- it is a confusing release. I think it tows the line between unpretentious and super self-serious unbelievably well, and that's its main strength for me: the name, for example, is one of the dumbest things I've seen, but it's so aesthetic and also there's something admirable about her sort of allowing it to be exactly what it is -- melodramatic bliss -- and not trying to dress it up into something else. I think thinking deeply about it, I'd 3.5
    December 3 10:06 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD "Born of a Flesh weaker than Ash! We come to understand this life!"
    December 2 06:25 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD ahah its from early this year. you said it was too generic and gave a 3 rate. I love that album but understand the reaction if you re expecting the classic sludge.
    November 30 09:35 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD amigo. Why not Atlas Moth? its sludge with a metalcore approach now but those tracks are really great X)
    November 30 07:26 AM
  • Hawks Nah I haven?t I?ll have to check lol.
    November 30 12:24 AM
  • JustJoe. BET!
    November 29 11:45 PM
  • JustJoe. December is all yours. I expect greatness in casual form.
    November 29 11:40 PM
  • Hawks Uada review will be up within the next few days. :]
    November 29 05:17 PM
  • budgie dude that wild nothing album is the album of the decade, i know you don't agree now, but... you will... in time
    November 29 01:59 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Glad you dug the list man. Is my first...too much metal lol
    November 28 10:05 PM
  • budgie lov u bb
    November 28 08:31 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD you let my tiiiiiiires down....
    November 28 12:49 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD you pos thinking man. yay m/ zapruder is so crazy lol m/
    November 28 09:46 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD we had a fun conversation about "music getting stuck in our heads while hanging over" I had Elizabeth from Ghost and you for what I recall had a bjork track lmao...Azusa has this kind of dangers lol
    November 28 04:48 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Ola amigo. For the looks Azusa isn't for everyone which make me sad lol decent users not giving the correct chance or mainly it could be because its a "pop" album nonetheless.
    November 28 04:36 AM
  • Hawks ****in right! Can?t wait for that.
    November 27 03:54 PM
  • bgillesp Just got in my White edition Night Time People vinyl and jammed it with my fiancée. Such good stuff.
    November 25 03:54 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD OK amigo. Any band/ project I should check. Would be happy to check tour work.
    November 24 07:45 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Ahah you welcome my friend. You a drummer? Invite accepted. Cool life of yours x)
    November 24 06:49 AM
  • budgie this random youtube suggested album turned out to be pretty magic, think you and atari would both love it
    November 23 06:31 PM
  • Voivod Saw your rating on the new Medicine Boy, imho I think it's good, but on first listens, it didn't grab as firmly as their debut.
    November 22 01:30 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD yeah is something smashing pumpkins grungy or mybloody's shoegazy...but if you're onto thou's female melodic sections I got those on Heart of stone right after the first solo...but hey I'm always a mock target when I speak about vibes like these...and yeah everything is so fast...
    November 21 08:42 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Dew. my vibes are always stupid, but can't you see went the chick from Azusa goes GrungeIndie Thou, and then Chelsea Wolf (then the obvious tDEP screams and melos)?
    November 21 06:36 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD not the ratings amigo. is your taste I trust lol
    November 21 05:11 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD yeah amigo! I mean its really weird there's no 5's yet to that one...but you know its a debut...I've practically fived that Conjurer one as well in my head lol...but this one is even about what I'm looking for in music...firstly difficult but then delightful...PS: love that HoF rating m/ from now on I always trust you. m/
    November 21 04:13 AM
  • Flugmorph the maruzen shop there was ****ing amazing
    November 21 03:00 AM
  • Flugmorph ye i was in a mandarake, the famous 8 storied one in akihabara tho. the doujinshi floor was impressive but otherwise the otaku store in matsumoto was wayyyyyy better

  • Flugmorph karaoke bar was called pasera dotonbori
    November 21 02:24 AM
  • Flugmorph no whats that? only had time to. go to don quijote, look around in dotonbori a lil and then get into a karaoke place
    November 21 02:22 AM
  • Flugmorph lel im sure you will. probably only available in a department store or in don quijote. btw i saw shinsaibashi when i was there (and dotonbori too of course which is probably my fav place in japan now)
    November 21 02:05 AM
  • Flugmorph oh but what i do indeed wanted very badly is kitkat sake and kitkat wasabi. if youre able to find them id legit be happy if you could mail them to me cause i was looking for them all over when i was there and couldnt find pay you with paypal of course.
    November 21 01:46 AM

    November 21 01:41 AM
  • Flugmorph btw fam are there nice otaku stores near you?
    November 21 01:17 AM
  • ZombieToyDuck until then
    November 20 07:49 PM
  • ZombieToyDuck in 100 ratings tell me and we will jam together
    November 20 07:19 PM
  • ZombieToyDuck oh **** I just realized its 2112... this is awkward lol
    November 20 07:18 PM
  • ZombieToyDuck Your ratings suggests you should jam 2012 by Rush.... I should also take on this noble task as I need to get to it as well haha
    November 20 07:17 PM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Dew...speechless with this album m/m/ just wanna say thanks lol
    November 20 10:59 AM

    November 16 09:45 PM
  • AgentDeathbat Heya, should I just drop my Tides review later tonight and spend the next few hours adding and refining, or just wait until it's the 18th? (I asked on your list too, sorry if it feels like I'm spamming
    November 16 09:39 PM
  • AgentDeathbat I'll dib what I know I can handle.

  • DDDeftoneDDD Portrayal of Guilt! X)
    November 14 10:44 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Sorry buddy. Now I remember I already knew you were in Japan (some previous talk). Aborted is the coolest crazy deathgrind from Belgium...but with lots of DM aspects, so looking close don't if its your thing...but since they're special maybe you should give it a go.
    November 14 04:40 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Japan? Awesome. I'm from Lisboa in Portugal. Have you checked the new Aborted?

  • DDDeftoneDDD Hey Dew. Pretty much in line here. I'm on that Slugde, Conjurer (and Thou, and Hooded Menace lol) since they came out! Thrilled with this new band Portrayal of Guilt...You're from Spain?

  • SherlockChris9021 Really? I thought it's just her live album with the quartet though. Anyway, if you want to discover her discography, I personally would recommend her Big Science album, especially the eight-minute epic O Superman, which is actually her biggest hit(number two in the UK singles chart). Don't get put off about the repetitive and overtly experimental music in the song though, because she is an avant-garde musician.
    November 13 09:11 PM
  • SherlockChris9021 Yeah, I got you. Not everyone likes the sludgy, dense noise rock like that. Anyway, I noticed you gave a rating to a Laurie Anderson live album, whom the artist I also rediscover recently, and I also know she is the widow of Lou Reed, do you know any good stuff from her?
    November 13 07:48 AM
  • SherlockChris9021 Anyway, thanks for your positive posts earlier. And one more thing, have you checked that Daughters album that the folks keep chatting about recently? It is very intense, kind of remind me of early Sonic Youth and Swans, which is not much of a surprise since all of them came from New York, but I kind of loving such feeling. I guess it's because I listened to Daydream Nation every morning on my way to school.

  • SherlockChris9021 Hi, just want to discuss with you about that new Imagine Dragons trash. As I notice, you also gave a 1 to that garbage (I refuse to call it album), just like I did. Look, I know they try to be anthemic to make positive impact or sorts, but I really hope they could just add more substance to their music! It's not much of a wonder the featured review call them the new Nickelback, since both their music are equivalent to caramel popcorns, just a sweet airy, disposable treat.
    November 9 11:09 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD Saw them waaaay back in festival when Maynard was wearing that cowboy hat ahah
    November 9 04:49 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD gonna see Tool live next year (and I'm already a father by then, I'm sure it will be special)

    November 7 08:34 AM
  • DDDeftoneDDD got you totally on APC thread. Though its a clearly different work, the TRUE APC FAN, that gives this last a proper chance (and by that I don't mean to listen to it 10 or more times just to say they hate it) will know where to look for sure X) you just need to "lay your arms down" and honestly try to get it. cheers.
    November 7 05:22 AM
  • budgie i'm certain you'll dig it, it REALLY sounds like a sister album to Night Flowers' Wild Nothing. awesome stuff

    November 3 10:40 PM
  • bgillesp Basically I want a 5 for my 3000th, so I'm getting recs from my friends and will rate the best.
    November 3 07:40 PM
  • Divaman I could never deal with her, even when she was younger.

  • Evok that new Soap
    November 2 11:58 PM
  • bgillesp No like from all time. Also I checked Pijn and it ruled
    November 2 11:09 PM
  • SherlockChris9021 Yes, I actually checked that Coheed and Cambria new album, it is very interesting, but didn't click me as much as the earlier works. By the way, that war is not between you and me, but that between me and the jerks here who kept picket on BN for attention, but that you have to interfere. Do you like older 1980s and 1990s alternative or 1960s and 1970s Joni Mitchell? I found this site tends to overlook these genres and don't discuss them.
    November 2 10:39 PM
  • Atari Ah, too bad. Haven?t really listened to it yet I just remembered you dug her last one. Dude, RDR2 is too ****ing good
    November 2 09:56 PM
  • bgillesp Running a super secret competition for my 3000th rating (jk, just don't wanna make a list for it). Gimme a rec, anything at all
    November 2 01:47 PM
  • Atari fyi new Rosalia is out today. go get your flamenco on ;)
    November 2 11:32 AM
  • SherlockChris9021 Any good materials recommended that fell under my radar? I am an alt-rock fan and of course like to have a look something besides alt-rock, as long as it is not trash pop/terrible metal/too obscure/overtly extreme metal(since you actually reviewed a black metal album recently).
    November 2 10:58 AM
  • SherlockChris9021 Hi, it's me again. Haven't chat with you for a long time since that TDAG review "war", haven't I? By the way, you might find me very inactive compared to few months ago, since I am going to university(or college, depends where you are from), and I had to deal with homework and exams, so I put many of my prepared review at the back burner. I just want to chat to you so I could put down my anguish down, since I didn't do well in my mid-term exam and of course the jerks around here.
    November 2 10:56 AM
  • Divaman Yes, finally someone who gets Yoko! So many listen to her "music" and because they can't believe how bad it is, they decide she must be a genius. I don't often find much that deserves to be 1'd. But Yoko truly deserves it.
    November 1 09:08 PM
  • DoofDoof 'Infected' by The The is top and already has over 400 track plays I think - if I'd been scrobbling since birth (lol) then that figure would be somewhere north of 4000 scrobbles easy
    November 1 04:32 AM
  • DoofDoof Yeah, I feel you - I admit I consciously try and hit the classics from time to time to try and make it a bit more representative of what I've liked over the years. Plus I find making comps helps - I have sort of 'night time' mixes of some of my favourites which we listen to before bed (oh aye!) when me and the wife are chatting. Then you get bursts of some very atypical rock/metal/dance stuff come up- gym/running playlists. You're right though - Paddy Hanna shouldn't be my 2nd most played album!
    November 1 04:29 AM
  • DoofDoof I listen to two and a half albums before I even start work usually -and then depending on my day at work usually another two or three albums there...I will admit my natural listening before sput would have been 50% what it is now.
    November 1 03:51 AM
  • Chamberbelain Nice one man. I really like it but it might take a few more listens to decide whether it's top 20 material.
    October 31 03:09 PM
  • DoofDoof I just spent more time on RYM and LastFM! Sad but true. Still working through my deep dive mission trying to find a hundred albums I like from every year, starting with the '90s. 91-97 are done, think I might put up a couple of lists and share some real obscure recs.
    October 31 09:57 AM
  • BlushfulHippocrene Oh man. :3 ;) (This is seriously good, though, I'm not usually big on post-rock but the atmospheres here are so lovely.)
    October 31 05:22 AM
  • DoofDoof Dewi, the standard of debate seems to have got worse since I took my sput holiday or have I just forgotten what it's like here?
