| TVC15 Hmm I'd say Marilyn Manson's Golden Age of Grotesque, Skinn Puppy's Last Rights and Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse, Assemblage 23's Defiance, Celldweller's Wish Upon a Blackstar, KMFDM's Nihil, and Nurse With Wound's Mezbild Schwet are industrial albums that have rubbed me the most and generally harsh noise as well. It's a fair bit but industrial music has a lot of sounds that can be explored

 | TheTripP That's cool, You DO have trickles of cool parts on the EP that I think you should possibly take another shot at another Metalcore EP but with taking your time, making the songs longer... and maybe studying up on popular Metalcore bands that could help put some inspiration in your music as well... but keep it up!

| TheTripP Alright mate, so I checked out your EP Rage. Just wanted to say nothing about it is necessarily BAD... just fills very lacking, like EXTREMELY. The songs were all way too short with nothing to make them feel worth listening to ever again. And when it was supposed to pack a punch it left you empty. I really think you need to reevaluate how you set up foundations for your songs, you have talent to make something worthwhile but you gotta take your time and perfect it. But not terrible, keep it up!

| onionbubs thanks. yea its not normally gonna be that weird. see becuase of the structure of the song, specifically the ending, its easiest to record the vocal track and guitars at the same time, and then layer another track. i just didnt turn that one down enough ill fix that next time

But it's cool that you're expressing yourself thru your music and haven't let the detractors dissuade you from making music, altho I think its definitely in your best interest to internalize a lot of the criticism/ suggestions to better your music, that is the few comments which actually offer something constructive

Anyway overall the track feels like it was put together in a sort of haphazard fashion altho unlike the naysayers I think you've got potential to compose some really effective music once you refine your songwriting. I domt mean this to come off as condescending and I'm not trying to tell you how to write your music, your free to compose however you like but that's just my advice / may lead

| MikeHunt Major issue for me was how it felt incohesive / lacked an organic flow that I look for in any genre of music even electronic and glitchy sort of stuff. It's difficult to describe exactly, I feel like some of the electronic elements seemed a bit contrived and stuck out in a bad way, but again I'm of the opinion that unless executed tactfully electronics and metal aren't too combinable and can detract from eachother. Something like altar of plagues final album is sort of a paragon of that

| MikeHunt Hey man my honest critique of your new electronic metalcore(esque) track is that the individual elements are strong; the instruments sound good at least from a production standpoint, your growls and shrieks are powerful altho personally Im not a fan of layered Vox and spoken word have major propensity to sound cheesy af and so be detrimental to the overall music unless executed absolutely flawlessly, and even then.. so would recommend keeping them to the minimum .

| onionbubs Im investing in a scarlett soon. Seems focusrites are the standard of the industry. Reaper is cool too. Definitely one of the best DAWs ive tried out. I was wondering if youve ever tried any positive grid stuff? Its an amp sim that gets surprisingly close to replicating actual amps. Since you use guitar in dark fade i kinda assumed you may want to use it in the future. I'd advise checking it out it's not super expensive you might find it a helpful recording tool
