 | Simkani Could you review Skillet's "Dominion"? It's different from what they usually do.
 | veninblazer did you ever get to that new Memphis May Fire?
 | CaliggyJack Also glad to see someone who enjoys the new Bullet for My Valentine album!
 | CaliggyJack **** yeah dude. s***s old, but Progressive/idealist bands do this s*** every time a Republican gets elected so it's par for the course. Also I'm what you would call a "Radical Centrist"
 | Drifter That sounds awesome. I hope I can see them live at some point in my life
 | Drifter Man. I love that song. Always have haha. Makes me nostalgic. Those whale sounds in the alt mix are perfect. That whole album really makes me nostalgic. It was the first album I ever listened to and I still love it to death
 | splinter Will you add "Ember" to your BB ranked list?
 | Lucman Lowborn was disappointing, agreed. I understand that they wanted to go out on a more experimental note but a lot of it sounded subpar. They were one of the greats though.
 | Lucman Nice Vital ranking. My favourite Anberlin record right there!
 | Drifter You should review the new bb album
 | Drifter It doesn't have to be just alt metal, it could be anything you like from the year
 | Drifter I'll keep those noted but for right now I want stuff from just the year 2000. I can see where you would've been confused tho
 | SteakByrnes Haha no problem my man, I actually wondered where you went a couple months ago. Keep jamming what you like my dude, I hope to see some more reviews in the future from ya :]
 | Drifter I missed you :) We need someone to rep alt metal super hard lol. Speaking of which rec me some alt metal please. If you can, put some 2000 (specifically) stuff here: https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=180406 and I'll try to get to it soon
 | bentheREDfan Ok guys, I'm back. A couple of things:1. My objectivity glasses are still pretty much blackened out when it comes to RED. That isn't going to change, so get used to it haha. 2. I still primarily listen to alternative and modern metal, but I'm including a little dubstep/EDM/electronica these days too.
 | Koris Yeah man, no problem. I'm a big alt metal fan as well; when I was a kid I used to listen to bands like Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch all the time. Years later, it's interesting to see which nostalgic bands hold up more than others, especially in the case of the Christian alt metal bands I heard back then. Kutless, Pillar, Red, etc. Skillet is still probably one of my personal favorites, especially because of Collide and Comatose.Yeah, Chevelle rules too. Wonder What's Next is classic :]
 | Ocean of Noise No problem, man. As somebody who has had a lot of trouble with anxiety in the past, I know how important it is to know that you're not alone. Feel free shoutbox me anytime if you think I could be of any help to you.
 | Kascade I actually enjoy red alot, im going to review end of silence pretty soon.
 | bloc That band has put out a surprisingly high number of albums since 2004, but I really liked that they changed to this kinda proggish rock band. I wasn't into MoE that much either but yeah Sparkling Death was damn good. Have you heard their latest one from last year? It was also very solid.
 | William21 No, it was fine as far as I was concerned.
 | LotusFlower https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-mzmeyfUMQ - you will like this
 | oltnabrick i am checking out RED right now, i hope i like them!
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Ya! They're a great band dude! I personally think Jar of Flies is their best, but both Dirt and S/t are equally great 4.5's.
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Do me a favor and check out Alice in Chains. They were part of the original grunge movement and inspired a lot of the post-grunge/alt metal stuff you listen to most likely. Start with Dirt, and then check out Jar of Flies and their underrated Self-titled.
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Lol it's fine bro, you don't sound overly whiny. I have a bad tendency of relying too much on sputnik to cope with bad sh*t, you don't seem to have that problem. Don't worry about it. I'll check them eventually.
 | LotusFlower not that you actually need to answer to anyone, just do what you want. my throw away joke comment should dictate you overhauling your own personal list.
 | LotusFlower nah its fine. i dont really try to do "obscure" stuff, it just so happens I stumble upon great stuff no one really knows. which is why half my reviews are on popular releases, too. also my comment towards you wasn't meant to be an insult at all, I just thought it was funny when looking at your list for a "ten best". alls good.
 | sixdegrees Blue sky Research and Gift are true patrician nu metal tbh
 | Snake. wait are you metalheadrunner
 | theNateman Dude there's a seether's songs list ranked. You'd totally be into that dude
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Same, im terrible at talking to girls, they scare me haha, but im lucky enough to have one that gets me even if shes way cooler haha
 | oltnabrick Same, who is ur fav nu-metal band? Mines probably Korn
 | FullOfSounds Sounds pretty good, I'll give it a listen soon.
 | FullOfSounds I've never heard them before, but their debut looks cool.
 | FullOfSounds The whole album is pretty bad and uninspired, and I think Comatose is a great album.
 | theNateman Dude have you heard of nothing more? They are totally up your alley dude
 | Intothepit Being a right fighter(yes there is a space ya dunce) isn't a good thing on the Internet.
 | 50iL Good man, thanks! Pretty tiring to start waking up at 6 AM again but it's going very smooth so far.
 | Intothepit You realize that the more you respond, the more it seems like you truly give a ****, ya troglodyte
 | 50iL It indeed starts tomorrow for me.
 | 50iL Why the question? Just wondering.
 | 50iL I'm 13 dude lmao.
 | LotusFlower Ill check Karma and Effect out then, since it wasnt just you giving it praise. Thanks for the rec!
 | FullOfSounds Yeah it's currently my favorite thing ever right now
 | theNateman Dude you're doing a fantastic job of hittin all the post grunge/alt metal scenesters. You should do three days grace and Chevelle next
 | 50iL Dang, that's awesome man! Adam Jones is absolutely ridiculous. One of my fav tbh
 | Snake. we've been asking for a sputnik app for a long long long long time now. no progress after all of these years, don't expect there to be any while you're here.
 | Jom Unfortunately, we have about $0 to spare to pay someone to code an app for us. It's not out of the realm of reason to have one eventually, but the aim is to have everything "locked in" on the main site before maneuvering to the app world.
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Hey man how many albums have you listened to in full? I'm guessing you haven't just heard the ones you've rated.
 | TobiasFunke There is definitely always money in the banana stand. Plus there are bangers in the mouth for everyone
 | ScuroFantasma Hey no worries man. Yeah there's not a lot of nu-metal love on this site as a whole, but even though I've branched out a lot since my nu-metal days I still really enjoy nearly all of the albums I used to jam.
 | Snake. i get mad at everybody for anything so it's nothing new
