 | FearThyEvil I have listened to Vessels and love that album. As for upcoming shows, we're seeing Dying Wish with Static Dress, Ulcerate (my fav on the docket as they're a top 5 band for me), Chat Pile, and Shai Hulud. Possibly others but those so far seem like the most intriguing. Ulcerate is the only guarantee as I'm not missing that unless I somehow am back in a hospital lol joking of course

I think that Be'lakor show happened already or while I was in the hospital. I chose not to go anyway cuz I don't know their discog enough and I need to know what I'm listening to otherwise I won't enjoy myself personally.

| DaveyMonsoon I definitely recommend In the Garden of the Unearthly Delights, it's old school melodic death-doom that's quite similar to early Septic Flesh circa-Mystic Places at Dawn. You would enjoy it, I feel.

| Hawks I get it for sure buddy. Did you ever jam Plague Angel? Its a bit of a switch up. Its still extremely fast bm for the most part but tracks like Seven Angels, Seven Trumpets and Perish in Flames are slower and more epic verging on Primordial type stuff. Highly recommend.

| Futures yeah took months to get a real diagnosis at first because of the rarity. and at least i know my case is always discussed and hopefully doctors are finding more about this cancer because of me. mayo clinic discussed it at one of their cancer board meetings. i'm lucky to have received the best care. anyways i hope your thanksgiving was good buddy.

| Futures my mistake if i didn't make this clear, i had six weeks of treatment last year at mayo. now i get immunotherapy every 3 week locally! i'm all clear right now for the time being just a preventative treatment. it's called thymic carcinoma, very rare and very deadly like 100 people a year get it and almost never as young as me. i appreciate you asking, thank you friend.

| Futures yeah luckily this time around it wasn't bad at all, other than a couple days i felt completely normal even got some workouts in. but yeah my first time around was hell on earth, every 3 weeks and i'd puke for a 1 week and be kind of ok for 2 weeks. sorry to hear about your coworker. proton radiation is a different radiation that really is just more precise and less risks. there's also only like 30 places that do it. since my cancer is so rare i got approved right away and rushed in thankfully.

| Futures hahahahaha. and that sounds very interesting, props for uniqueness! and i'm doing alright just had to get chemo and proton radiation a special kind last year for 6 weeks. been a long year. on the normal immunotherapy every 3 weeks now, only had that one reoccurance in 5 years so eh not bad lol. side effects aren't too bad just something i gotta take now. i'm very thankful to still be kickin.

 | JohnnyoftheWell defs a summer fixation in all their albums ( their successor project Natsumen, which is more manic and mathy and you may dig more) but i feel there's a v bittersweet current under that bright energy - a lot of the stuff on Listening Suicidal is the kinda stuff that forecasts its own burnout and then cheerily flips it the bird for as long as poss. their early stuff is mostly endearing shrapnel, but Roro is a comparatively blissed out post rock deal that pairs p perfectly with it
