 | Hyperion1001 I saw suspiria there and it was one of my lifetime highlights. I have a friend who lives in takoma park and I?ve been meaning to go visit him for a while. Ill remember to hit you up while I?m in town and we can hang. he?s in a death metal band too so we?d all get on pretty well I think.
 | Hyperion1001 yeah I knew soundstage but sidebar was def the one I forgot. funnily enough I also saw outer heaven at atlas before the pandemic hit. i liked silver spring but the rent got so insanely high that my wife and I just decided to move back down south closer to my parents. I miss the AFI Silver so much though I saw so many cool things there.
 | Hyperion1001 wow dude tomb. autocorrect gave me a genuine 10/10 band name. thanks Tim lmao.
 | Hyperion1001 nice! i actually lived in silver spring for about a year and half so I?m kinda familiar with the Maryland/DC metal scene. used to go to shows at atlas brew all the time (can?t remember the name of the Baltimore venue honestly. Dude tomb is great but I?ll check out visceral disgorge. wormhole recently signed to season of mist and should be putting out their follow up soon.

 | BaselineOOO Hello. I hope that you will enjoy Vera Drake! It's not the most intense movie dialogue wise, but the acting is wonderful. It is quite beautiful!
 | Hyperion1001 some recent ones I?ve liked are Bodybox, Snuffed on Sight, Wormhole, Metharoma, and Splattered. im honestly just exploring the genre so I don?t really know all that much yet, but those are pretty cool.
 | Hyperion1001 god damn dude this defleshed and gutted albums kills. some of the best slam I?ve heard yet. ace rec, Texas slam is on another level.

 | cordwainerbird would happily recommend more as well, just drop me a line if u ever get a chance to listen to that album and ill toss some more ur way!
 | cordwainerbird excellent!! your passion for the sound as well as interest in discovering more sounds like it comes through on ur shout and makes me happy. i'm also huge on soft cell and lament they've been virtually forgotten about besides tainted love because they really are so much more. always been fond of their earlier tracks in particular. check out "Some Bizzare Album", which features some fantastic tracks from them as well as other underground avantgarde proto-synthpop/ebm/industrial sound.
