    July 10 10:31 PM

    July 1 03:38 PM
  • danielcardoso Thanks man no problem, 'whiskey for the holy ghost' is an excellent album of lanegan's so i'd say go for it, you'll dig it :]
    June 29 07:23 PM
  • danielcardoso https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18dZdWIIP6w
    June 28 05:15 PM
  • danielcardoso Just realized i'm gonna have to be up until 1 am to watch the start of the game ahah. Gonna finish at about 3 if it doesn't go to extra time that is, so glad school's over already! Do you still study bud?
    June 26 05:27 PM
  • danielcardoso Chile too ahah, not that i don't like argentina but i've always been fond of this chile team :]
    June 26 03:49 PM
  • danielcardoso Tell me about it! Yeah i'm thrilled, game got very emotional in the end ahah. Excited for the copa america final today, you gonna watch it?
    June 26 11:16 AM
  • danielcardoso The game was intense ahah, croatia is probably one of the teams that are playing better right now but if we can make it through then we may have a good chance of going to the final.
    June 23 01:38 PM
  • danielcardoso Oh man i love chile and i'm happy they made it to the final again but i'm also a bit gutted for you buddy i have to say. Did you watch the game?
    June 23 12:07 PM
  • danielcardoso Did mexico just lose like that lol.
    June 19 10:48 AM
  • danielcardoso F'ck this not again :]
    June 18 09:03 PM
  • danielcardoso Ooh mexico and chile is gonna be a great game, very tough opponent for colombia no matter who makes it through. Thanks for the added support buddy, i'll give ya a shout when the game is over, either to celebrate or to take out the anger ahah. Hopefully the former :]
    June 18 04:32 PM
  • danielcardoso Ahah i can imagine! It was a pretty exciting game ahah, hope portugal can win today too. Who are you facing in the semis now?
    June 18 06:57 AM
  • danielcardoso Hey buddy, check out my list later and do a fun little guessing game :]
    June 15 08:07 PM
  • danielcardoso Oh yeah they didn't play very well at all, started off nice but the 2nd half was very poor. Now we have put ourselves in a dangerous situation before going up against a potentially dangerous austria and a motivated hungary, every year is the same damn this.
    June 15 03:37 PM
  • Idleness thats it, ive had enough of your microaggression!
    June 14 11:10 PM
  • Idleness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmAKthDadpY
    June 14 10:28 PM
  • danielcardoso Hoping we can play focused and not let our guard down, iceland isn't the strongest team but they are often pretty solid defensively and sigurdsson is a great player, i'm curious to see how he'll play. If we can do that, i'm confident we can win this one. What do you think buddy?
    June 14 05:52 PM
  • danielcardoso Ahah yeah, in all honesty brazil played pretty poor every game of the copa, but the way they got eliminated was pretty ridiculous. Mexico and venezuela had a fantastic game yesterday though.
    June 14 03:45 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist So I think I just found the best record of all time. You might have heard of it. Its called : DARK SIDE OF THE MOON! It took like three listens but it clicked!
    June 13 06:06 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Its a really great album :) needa jam some more of course.
    June 12 11:55 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist I finished it and i really like it. I love the spacey feeling. Its like your translucently going through life. I feel like a lot of the individual songs are weaker though, On The Run serves its purpose but its kind of annoying. Need to listen more. Us and Them, Time and Breathe are my favs
    June 12 11:14 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Wow... i think Us and Them is serious contender for favorite Floyd song
    June 12 10:56 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Dude...animals and wish you were here are so close its crazy. I dont know which i prefer. I love the cynicism of animals, and Pigs on the Wings 2 is the perfect "everything will be alright in the end" to the album .
    June 12 09:44 PM
  • danielcardoso No first place for colombia after all it seems :]
    June 12 10:27 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Sorry im taking my time with animals. Its a bit more of a grower than WYWH which instantly clicked. Love animals, hard to decide if 4.5 or 5. After that ill go to DSOTM THEN MEDDLE.
    June 11 11:36 PM
  • danielcardoso Woke up this morning to find out uruguai is out already, did not expect such an early exit.
    June 10 07:08 AM
  • danielcardoso I have to say buddy, despite my brazilian ascendance i'm a big admirer of peru's current national upset and i could see em pulling an upset. Brazil are favorites for sure, but they've been inconsistent as hell and dunga is just not a very good coach in my opinion. I think colombia should have no problem in securing 1st place and usa is capable of finishing in second. Man, i can just feel the intensity for the euro :]
    June 9 04:15 PM
  • danielcardoso Bets on who makes it to the next round from group b in the copa?
    June 9 10:23 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Ok thanks :)
    June 8 06:52 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Well considering i love Wish and have Animals i dont think it will take long to corroborate haha. By the way, are you into other progressive bands? Where should i go next if so.
    June 8 06:39 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Thanks : D . WYWH is sooo awesome. A 5/5, no filler abd everyvtrack was essential. I was a bit nervous cause it was my first progressive record but its easy on the ears
    June 8 06:31 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Your welcome dude! Btw, i forget if you said you oike WYWH over animals or is that wrong?
    June 8 06:21 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Ok ill trust you :D
    June 8 05:55 AM
  • zakalwe Wise dude. You know it's better than big ones.
    June 7 08:44 PM
  • danielcardoso Now there's a good mix of young talent and international experience on the team. Maybe not favorites, but we can definitely make some waves. Our midfielders and wingers are particularly strong, so yeah i'm feeling just a little bit hopeful :]
    June 7 04:32 PM
  • danielcardoso I saw it too, not a very good game but you gotta love the energy aranguiz puts into every play. But yeah vargas for example needs to help out more on defense and can't be as tied up in his movements as he was yesterday. I think portugal can actually contend this time around unlike last world cup. Paulo bento is not a very good coach, called up a lot of below average players like hugo almeida, miguel veloso, helder postiga and a whole bunch of em tbh.
    June 7 04:30 PM
  • danielcardoso Yeah you do have a nice enough team, kind of bummed that Jackson didn't get the call though. I think that argentina and chile are the top two teams right now, but colombia peru mexico and uruguay all have arguments to contend and have a say in the title run. Brazil is looking pretty awful though, i hate the job dunga is doing as their coach :]
    June 7 04:13 PM
  • danielcardoso Ahah okay. Any big hopes for your team in the copa america? :D
    June 7 03:36 PM
  • danielcardoso Actually i have brazilian ascendance but i'm from portugal, why do you ask buddy? And where are you from?
    June 7 03:29 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Ill see if i can get it to work
    June 7 04:02 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist No i dont think my grannies internet is up to the task
    June 7 03:48 AM
  • ArsMoriendi Yeah, it's an excellent song.
    June 5 11:44 PM
  • Omoplatter Just a heads up: You mention loving Vortex's vocals on The Sham Mirror in your mini review, but Vortex didn't sing on that album.
    June 3 06:59 PM
  • theBoneyKing in genres where they are not all that important. (2/2)
    November 27 08:44 PM
  • theBoneyKing Oh, that does make sense. Of course English lyrics aren't going to resonate with you in the same way as they do me. I don't pay attention to lyrics when I'm not listening in my native language (which is perhaps a bit hypocritical, tbh). I also understand and fully embrace the fact that I am in the minority on this site in my opinion on lyrics. I gravitate far more towards music where the lyrics are front and center than most here, so I definitely lend them greater weight than do most (1/2)
    November 27 08:39 PM
  • theBoneyKing No problem, man. I also respect you opinion too, of course. I do hold to my opinion that one should consider lyrics when rating, but of course it doesn't completely invalidate your ratings if you choose not to. Even I don't always read every lyric before I rate, though I do always get a sense of their general quality.
    November 27 08:20 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity No probs man, check whenever you like. Also make sure it's the remaster (it has more tracks so that's how you know and so much better production). My fav band for a reason :3
    November 26 06:40 PM
  • Snake. on the impossible past for sure
    November 26 06:40 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity I don't know why but with some of your ratings I think you may love this: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/53639/Dir-En-Grey-Uroboros-Remastered--Expanded/
    November 26 06:28 PM
  • Snake. well the closest bands i could find in your ratings are arctic monkeys and the libertines, just think of those two bands only a lot more drunk and punk-influenced
    November 26 06:27 PM
  • Atari hey man late reply but I'm glad you liked Sibelius' violin concerto! I believe you recommended Paganini violin concerto? it's pretty cool, gonna listen again today
    November 16 05:30 PM
  • zakalwe Cool. Yep, they're one of them bands (quite possibly the only band) where everything is aligned, everyone is an integral part of the magic which will remain timeless and miraculous. I'm gonna spin 'em.
    November 11 05:21 PM
  • zakalwe Good job being so honest dude. At which point did you cry? After you heard it? I remember the first time I properly heard the Beatles and it was a life changer.
    November 11 04:57 PM
  • BeyondCosby No problem man! I'm glad we were able to have a civil conversation about that. I just didn't want people s***ting on you. It's kinda what this site does.
    October 23 03:29 PM
  • Hawks Same to you bud. m/
    October 22 02:46 AM
  • Hawks Good to hear man. The first 5 albums (including Vempire) are all 5's for me. Cradle was the band that introduced me to extreme metal when I was 14, almost 10 years later and they're still my fav haha.
    October 22 02:27 AM
  • Hawks Darkly is their worst for me tbh, but I still enjoy it a little bit. Damnation is bottom 3 Cradle for me as well, but it's still a 3.5. I'm a huge fanboy and I accept it.
    October 22 02:14 AM
  • Hawks Yeah bro easily. I'm also a big fan of Thornography and Nymphetamine too though in terms of post-Midian albums.
    October 22 01:12 AM
  • Hawks The most recent album is the best thing they've done in 15 years so you def need that one. The one before it isn't anything special and you could probably go without it.
    October 21 09:39 PM
  • Jom Hmm. I'm wondering if users need to do one of each (Review, Soundoff, Band Edit, News Article, and Album Edit) in order for the whole table to load. I will inquire with the powers that be. Thanks for following up with me!
    October 17 09:25 PM
  • EvoHavok Definitely not their darkest, despite what that (thoroughly unfitting) cover tried to convey, so I can understand why the occasional upbeat feel isn't to your liking.
    October 15 06:47 PM
  • EvoHavok Why's that? I got into it easily.
    October 15 06:10 PM
  • EvoHavok Yup. Forgot to mention Bauhaus - In the Flat Field and Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures. Some of the earliest goth records, so why not xD.
    October 14 07:59 PM
  • EvoHavok That's gonna take a while with all their 14 albums heh. You can also try My Dying Bride at some point, if you haven't already.
    October 14 07:49 PM
  • EvoHavok Ran out of space... Nightingale - The Breathing Shadow, Sentenced - North from Here, Sisters of Mercy - First and Last and Always/Floodland, Stiu Nu Stiu - Ultra Silvam, Dead Can Dance - Within the Realm of a Dying Sun. I got ya full haha.
    October 14 07:45 PM
  • EvoHavok Well, if you're in the dark music/goth stuff mood lately, I've got some neat albums to rec: Buck-Tick - 13kai wa Gekkou, Charon - The Dying Daylights, The Cure - Disintegration, Estatic Fear - A Sombre Dance, The Foreshadowing - Second World, Fields of the Nephilim - Elizium, the Nephilim, Lake of Tears - Forever Autumn, Liv Kristine - Vervain, Malice Mizer - Merveilles, Nightfall - Athenian Echoes (should've rec'd this in the other post; very underrated and I think you'll love it)
    October 14 07:40 PM
  • EvoHavok No problem! Are you also interested in some gothic rock or just the metal?
    October 14 07:29 PM
  • EvoHavok Not entirely similar to Moonspell, but there are some gothic metal bands worth checking, such as Paradise Lost, The Gathering (Mandylion, Nighttime Birds), In The Silence (obvious Katatonia influence), Theatre of Tragedy (first three), Tribulation (the last album), Type O Negative (Bloody Kisses, for example; Fernando's cleans on earlier Moonspell are rather similar to Peter Steele), Tristania (Beyond the Veil), The Vision Bleak (The Witching Hour).
    October 14 07:20 PM
  • EvoHavok Certainly. It's consistent and varied. You will enjoy it considering you like their recent outputs so much.
    October 14 06:59 PM
  • Deez Cheers man. Dude like Ive literally stopped dead like a pervert just staring at women there and I am definitely not that sleezy but damn Colombian chicks man. The best.
    September 29 06:24 PM
  • Jom Hi there: to be fair, I'm not sure how it works either. I think there might be a minimum threshold before they start showing up on the profile pages, or it's possible that we haven't pushed them through the queue yet. Keep on making edits and if you don't see anything after at least 10, give me another shout. Thanks!
