Review Summary: Open your mind
Queensryche Outdoes itself on this Album
Full of emotion and sonically appealing.
The dark and melancholic sound, the philosophical and spiritual lyrics, this album is Very Underrated, a pity not to have the Success it deserves
The Album opens with "Open" which is a Beautiful Track with a Highly Exciting Guitar, Tate's Vocals here are full of emotion and courage, the Chorus is Very Strong, we started well.
The second Track is a little Weak, "Losing Myself" has a good Beat, Tate's vocals here are Irritating, the Track fails to lead anywhere and always follow the same line, but it has a Good Guitar Solo at Least .
"Desert Dance" opens with a Peculiar Guitar Sound that looks more like an Arabian Music surprises being a Rewarding Nu Metal that Remembers Linkin Park, it's OK so far.
"Falling Behind" is Beautiful Rest after 3 Heavy Tracks, Tate's Voice Melody is Angelic, you find the path to Peace in it.
"The Great Divide" is Melancholic and Tate sounds Really Sad, the Beat is Strong and Clear here.
"Rhythm of Hope" is another Rest after "The Great Divide" that wasn't even that Heavy. it's a Weak Track and it even has a bit of emotion but I think Ballads don't work here.
Comes to Main Track, "Tribe" which opens with a Strong Riff and it really has a Wild Sound. The composition really stands out here, really inspiring.
"Blood" is the Most Melancholic Track on this Album, the Sad and Lonesome Sound is really something we would never imagine in this band.
"The Art Of Life" is My Favorite Track, the Riffs sound Heavy and Dragged, the Music is made up of Spoken Verses, and seems to be a Gray and Funeral Type Sound that would be great to close the album, but...
"Doin' Fine" is Another Mistake along with "Rhythm of Hope", Ballads Don't Work Here, the Final Choruses are Catchy, but that's about it.
Anyway, it's an Excellent Album, it comes close to being a Masterpiece but it needed more, it lacked more Progressiveness, some Dream Theater Style Tracks would work here.
