It has been a long time coming, but after much time rapper “Dookati’s” mix tape is finally here! Rapper “Dookati” pronounced like the bike but actually meaning “a new wave of music”. With “Dookati’s” ambition he set out to put his heart and soul and wrap it up in his first mix tape. Dookati a rapper from Ohio,San Diego and now Ventura County enters into the game with his new mix tape. “A.R.R.I.A.E” meaning “a acronym for a riddle rapped inside an enigma”. Welcome to “A.R.R.I.A.E” lets examine “Dookati’s” new mix tape, and take a look at what makes it great.

One of the first songs “Eh Yo” shows you what you are in for. “Dookati” brings his midwest flows and really delivers on this one. Being able to twist his words and poetically spit is a gift that Dookati proves that he has. “Dookati’s” next track “Move” (a Mim’s cover) is spectacular! “Dookati” absolutely slays the beat and provides a great cover. “This n That” is one of my favorite songs on the mix tape. It starts off with “Dookati” spitting “look I ain’t lying to you my man told me to come and spit fire to you.So I took a bath of kerosene and set it a blaze”. This sets the tone for the song and “Dookati” is just getting warmed up on the track.

Another song “Midnight Hour” features a great beat and vocal production.”Dookati” shows that he can do more than spit it hard and fast. He brings a great sense of ethos to the song. You can tell that “Dookati” poured out his heart on the track. “Dookati” go’s on to cover “Lil Wayne’s” “6’s and 7’s”. Its a great cover and makes “Lil Wayne” seem slow in comparison. One of my favorite beats is the song “Pump Your Breaks” in which Dookati nails the beat. His vocals go’s really well with the beat. It shows how “Dookati” has set the production level high.”Break Up” another one of my favorite tracks really shines as well. “Dookati” really twists the song up and doe’s a fantastic job with it. His delivery, style, and chorus is exceptional here and it is a really enjoyable song. Also “Stunt On My God” will have you nodding your head to it as “Dookati” “jumps on his trampoline type flow”.”Dookati’s word play is really shown off, and he go’s off on the track.

Overall “Dookati’s” album is enjoyable from beginning to end. Not everyone can shine in there first mix tape but “Dookati” really takes off. It is one of the best mix tapes I have heard, and best of all it is free. It can be downloaded free here http://www.dookatimusic.com/CDview.cfmSupport. “Dookati’s” mix tape took a while to arrive but it is here. I am happy to say that after all the delays it delivers. “Dookati” shows that he has talent. It is good to see it all on display in the album.
