| Ryus sweeet. that demo seems like its kinda the exception actually, i think most of them were more well-developed and some of them sound pretty similar to the studio versions but still it seems like alan did contribute a lot

| Ryus lol i figured out wtf alan wilder does in depeche mode. so basically martin would write the demos, and then alan was the arranger so in a way hes kinda the second-pass songwriter and as a result had a ton of influence on their sound. idk if uve heard this but heres a martin demo for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRyDzc4FF0E
