Arche's great 2019 bm catch up

So after dismissing bm for the best part of a year I've suddenly re-remembered that it's actually a sweet as all heck time. So here's my list of catch up stuff. Any recs greatly appreciated! Will update with descriptions/thoughts.
1A.S.M.
Schism Perpetration

If you're looking for interesting song structures and cool drum patterns this probably isn't going to be for you. Schism Perpetration is dirty war metal that, most of the time, exists only to blast, chug, gurgle and just be generally nasty and abrasive - and there's no amount of rainy ambient that they can put at the end of Numbing Decay which is gonna change that outlook. 3.8/5.0
2Abysmal Lord

Satan Spits On Children Of Light

If Lemmy ever got into black metal and wanted to give it a try I'm sure it would sound a bit like this. Brash, gruff, kickarse moments at every turn... it's just pure attitude, start to finish. I'd maybe take it being 5 minutes shorter, only due to a slight paucity of variation by the end. Rips. 4.0/5.0
20Drastus
La Croix de Sang
21Drudkh
A Few Lines in Archaic Ukrainian

Drudkh sounding far more consistently furious than I seem to remember them doing. One thing I had to bear in mind listening to this was this is actually a comp of material from a few splits so there were a few subtle changes in style (the first two were machine-gun bm by Drudkh standards) but once I had that pegged down it's overall a pretty good time, if not their best. 3.6/5.0

37Saor
Forgotten Paths

I mean... it's definitely a Saor album. The flurried drums, Celtic melodies, tin whistles, bagpipes, violins and sock-in-mouth vocals are all there, arranged in such a way that there's few surprises, but what is here is still really quite good. Sophie Roger's guest vocals on Bron are a nice touch. Overall doesn't really advance Saor much as a project but in its own little void it's great. 3.8/5.0

41Suspiral

42 Tetragrammacide
Third World Esoterrorism
43This Gift Is A Curse
A Throne of Ash

Intense doesn't even begin to describe this one. TGIAC have never been a band to shy away from creating a blackened maelstrom of sorts but this is... I think we're beyond that. A Throne of Ash definitely trades a bit of track-by-track intelligibility but somewhere within the grinding riffs, endless tortured howls and constant blistering pace, this really isn't much of a problem. Three-quarters of an hour goes by very, very quickly. Blinding stuff. 4.2/5.0

Suggested by Nocte. - this was neat. Tolkein metal doing as Tolkein metal does, but this was pretty satisfyingly aggressive and, largely, felt pretty well balanced; the drums seemed to get thrown off on a few occasions, but that's my only major gripe. Actually, my real major gripe is the MS Paint Gandalf Ctrl+V'd in the bottom right. Come on dude, what are you doing. 3.5/5.0
