My Top 10 70s Rock Records

70s is probably one of the best decades in music, this is when rock started really developing into different forms. 70s were truly phenomenal
1Pink Floyd
The Dark Side of the Moon


Surprised? Dark Side of the Moon is such a magical record, It's so iconic anywhere from the artwork, atmosphere and emotion of this album. Dark Side of the Moon is a classic cause it's so different and mysterious. A true classic in the music world and you can't argue with that.
2Fleetwood Mac
Rumours


I adore this record, it's basically perfect. The musicianship, songwriting, production, etc. It's very soulful and creative. Every song has a different meaning and feel to it. Rumours is an album that will be remembered for a very long time.
3Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin IV


A blend of rock, blues, folk and soul. Led Zeppelin IV is a certified classic that has so many classics and this album is super soothing and fun, It takes me back when i first heard it.
4Black Sabbath
Master of Reality


Master of Reality is a raw and heavy record that has incredible riffs and the musicianship is authentic and real. Master of Reality gets straight to the point which i can respect.
5Boston
Boston


Boston is one of those bands i used to listen to so much back in junior high. Ever since i heard More Than A Feeling, they quickly became one of my favorite bands. Boston's debut is a true rock classic, with memorable tracks, how the members deliver on each song and just the joy listening to this record is pretty exceptional.

Close to the Edge


A progressive rock classic. Close to the Edge is an exceptional record with an gripping atmosphere and mind blowing musicianship. A must listen for any music fan.
7David Bowie
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust...


I'm a big fan of Bowie. Ziggy Stardust shows lots of creativity and soul. There is not one skippable track on this album. Moonage Daydream, Starman, Ziggy Stardust and Rock n Roll Suicide are my favorites.
8Queen
A Night at the Opera


Queen's A Night at the Opera is a powerful record full of incredible talent by each member, strong songwriting skills and memorable songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, You're My Best Friend and the Prophet Song.
9The Rolling Stones
Exile on Main St.


The Stones have a lot of great records anywhere from Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed, Beggars Banquet, etc Exile on Main St. is my favorite because it's so consistent it's great mix of many different styles such as rock, blues and folk.
10Genesis
Selling England by the Pound


My favorite Genesis record is filled with amazing story telling and musicianship. I love the atmosphere and soul of this album.
