An Evening With dbizzles...

Hello, Friends. It's been too long (sorry) but today I had the opportunity to visit my local D.I. AKA Deseret Industries (Mormon Thrift Shop) in search of some new vinyl. I scored a bunch of shit for about $5 total, but what is listed below is what I have been listening to for the past 3-4 hours. I've had some shit to do at home tonight, but everything within earshot of my record player and speaker. What the fuck have you guys been listening to tonight??
1Pyotr Tchaikovsky
Serenade for Strings in C major, Op. 48

This is the first time I have heard this in full. Really good, for the most part. The last minute or so closes the show very well, though. It is my favorite part.
2Herb Alpert And The Tijuana Brass
South Of The Border

I bought this on the merit of the title and artwork alone and was not disappointed. Southwestern Trumpet madness with a cover of 'All My Loving.'
3Herb Alpert And The Tijuana Brass
Going Places

Glad I bought this as well, because it is just as good. Also has a great rendition of 'Spanish Fly.'
4The Statler Brothers
The Best of The Statler Brothers

Featuring 'Flowers On the Wall' of Pulp Fiction fame, the rest was surprisingly awesome.
5Maurice Ravel
Boléro

2nd side to Tchaikovsky. Not as good, but not bad.
6AFI
Sing the Sorrow

Okay, so I didn't get it at the D.I., but I have had the clear-red Double LP for about 10 years now and it needed some exercise Still owns..
