Kingdok's 2025
Lots of really good stuff, plenty left off this list. These are the albums that stuck with me the most and I still come back to plenty. |
| 1 | | Stillbirth Survival Protocol
The first brutal-type slam to really hit me hard. So much fun, and paved the way for more bdm.
Baptized in Blood |
| 2 | | Abyssalis Adaptation
Some cracking albums from Transcending Obscurity, really digging the techy-Aborted vibes I get from this.
Indomitable |
| 3 | | Unaligned A Form Beyond
Another techy one, pretty catchy with it. Love the bass sound throughout.
Spirit Dysmorphia |
| 4 | | The Callous Daoboys I Don't Want to See You in Heaven
So much going on here, even for the Daoboys. Can sometimes feel a little bloated towards the final third, but still rips.
Two-Headed Trout |
| 5 | | Depravity (AUS) Bestial Possession
Kinda out-Cryptopsy's Cryptopsy. Sometimes the vocals are a little raspy, but the riffs go for days.
Blinding Oblivion |
| 6 | | Revocation New Gods, New Masters
Revocation's most death metal album is still absolutely thrashy.
Cronenberged |
| 7 | | Raging Speedhorn Night Wolf
Loved these guys for years. Finally an album that is worthy of the ultra-awesome We Will Be Dead Tomorrow
Blood Red Sky |
| 8 | | Deftones private music
Another band that have been solid if unremarkable since their early work. So many layers here, an album that keeps giving!
...infinite source |
| 9 | | Enragement Extinguish All Existence
More Transcending Obscurity goodness. Vox are up and down, but another great fun album. And the cover is dm Garbage Pail Kids
Hypercarnivorous |
| 10 | | Coffin Feeder Big Trouble
Loved this for a while, some absolute bangers (and a coupla meanderers). Makes me want more Aborted.
The Wrong Arm of the Law |
