My Top 10 Metallica Tracks

After the Master thread from last night, I thought I would list my 10 rfavorite Metallica jams. rFeel free to list yours (or agree with my supreme rawesomeness).
10Metallica
Ride the Lightning

Fade to Black : Lyrically phenomenal and the opening acoustic passage and Kirk's
solo work so fucking well together.
9 Metallica
Kill 'Em All

Metal Militia : It's a hard choice between this and Whiplash. I think I love this one a
little more though. The driving opening riff is killer.
8Metallica
Master of Puppets

Disposable Heroes : One of the first Metallica songs I remember hearing. Ever. My 8
year old brain was like "woah".
7Metallica
...And Justice for All

Harvester of Sorrow : That opening riff \m/
6Metallica
Master of Puppets

Orion : Cliff fucking Burton. RIP.
5 Metallica
Kill 'Em All

Am I Evil? I know, not a Metallica song. They are a band though that does some of
their best work interpreting others.
4Metallica
Ride the Lightning

Trapped Under Ice : Shredding at its best, probably one of the fastest songs the
band ever did and really under appreciated by many modern fans of the classic
Metallica catalog.
3Metallica
Metallica

The God That Failed : This is the only song from the black album that I really, really
love. The lyrical content and the authenticity in James' deliver sells this one.
2Metallica
Master of Puppets

Leper Messiah : Mustaine's last writing credit with the band, and arguably one of
his best. I love the rhythm section here, and the lyrics kick ass.
1Metallica
Ride the Lightning

Fight Fire With Fire : Their first 4 albums all have epic openers, this one hits the
hardest though. The double bass beats just tear this up.
