SitarHero 07.19.13	Oldboy corridor is a classic! Good call. My other favourite that doesn't get much mention is the climactic fight in Serenity between Mal and The Operative. Brutal, realistic, and thoroughly badass.
jdennis31 07.19.13	I was actually trying to decide on that one and V for Vendetta. I just rewatched firefly and saw serenity for the first time, that was a great scene. Redband trailer for new Oldboy is out, looks pretty bad to me. A bit of a change on storyline it seems but still has a lot of the same scenes, just less gritty looking.

It seems like it's less about the mystery surrounding his capture but about trying to rescue his daughter before she's killed? and he sees video interviews with her when she's older in the trailer so it seems like they took out the whole incest trickery. they might just be going at it at a different angle. I kinda wanna know the difference between menga and korean oldboy.
jdennis31 07.19.13	@kenbo yea, not sure why but martial arts fights don't really get me. i really liked the 10 man battle in ip man but the circumstances surrounding that fight is what makes the scene a lot more memorable.

jdennis31 07.19.13	Is the elephant tusk fight ong bak 1 or 2? that's definitely the best fight in that series. i've only seen the raid once but watching youtube clips now. forgot how bad ass it was. I like messy fights when the hero actually gets hit a lot. used to love jackie chan but think the fight scene production is too low quality now.

jdennis31 07.19.13	@kenbo That's the not the first time I've confused those and been corrected -_- I can't remember anything from ong bak then. @sitarhero the trailer isn't really too clear about that. seems like he could still be being tricked into a relationship with his daughter, since there is still a female protagonist helping him to save his "daughter"

SitarHero 07.19.13	Why is it lame? I think most people agree that it's epic because of the odds in the fight and the juggernaut way Oldboy goes through everyone in a completely realistic non-highflying-kung-fu way.
