Banion, when referring to c.o.d., stated that people were speculating suicide as a cause of death, simply because there were no indications of any other sort of cause. She said she was 100% sure that it was not, that she had talked to him shortly before, and being very close to him, had known that he had never considered nor would ever commit suicide. She told us that they were going to find out, and when they did, she would report back here and tell us what the real c.o.d. was. Something odd like a brain aneurism was speculated for some reason, I remember. Banion never reported back, as far as I know.
