instrumentation and a notorious alt metal influence, but still it has downtuned guitars, a murky bass
and other techniques used by bands like korn or slipknot. List is mediocre, only 4 and 5 are classics,
korn,sevendust and slipknot have far better works, sinner is good but there is better nu metal sutff
out there and drowning pool as a whole is mediocre, coal chamber is dull and limp bizkit, saliva and
papa roach are awful. List needs mudvayne, nothingface, snot, first incubus album, 36 crazyfists,
deftones ( yes, they have a lot of nu metal elements, disliking nu metal and saying that deftones
never made nu metal will not get you more pussy ) |

still they belong to the same lable, sure
they are more agressive and complex but still they have certain groovy bass lines, downtuned
guitars, hip hop or funk drums and the murky bass but they used better those resources. Face it,
hating nu
metal and saying that the good nu metal albums like LD 50, Toxicity, snot, Around the fur and more
doesn't belong to that genre won't make you cooler and won't get you more crediblity or pussy.
Besides, S.C.I.E.N.C.E is a nu metal album, fungus maybe not, has a lot of the characteristic
elements of that genre despite of certain amount of experimentation. Not every nu metal album
involves
rapcore elements, classical drop D chuggage or dj scratching and there were very decent acts that
were more than simply korn or limp bizkit clones. |
